{1 month later, Camp Half-Blood}

      After his outburst with Annabeth, most of his friends stopped talking to him. Thalia being one of the main ones who stopped talking to him. She loved Percy, but didn't feel right condoning his behavior, & as a hunter it went against everything Artemis stood for. Jason might not be the stongest demigod, but he was a close match. 

          The son of Zeus had taken it upon himself to issue that all Camp Jupiter campers in his care at Camp Half-Blood stay away from Percy as well. Percy now possessed an unsanctioned amount of power & his outburst was the first sign of him spiralling out of control. Leo  & Nico slowly drifted away too, but made effort to check on Percy as much as they could. Piper was usually busy with her cabin, & Annabeth was as always with Lucas. The son of Hermes really made her happy & she wasn't going to let Percy ruin that for her. 

        A few hellhounds were seen at the borders of camp. The demigods sprang into action to keep their camp safe. These hellhounds were summoned, which meant someone in camp wanted to make a spectacle of the gods' power. To show that the gods were weak.

         Demigod's slashed & kept fighting the pain of a hellhounds teeth in their skin. They felt as if their skin burned from the inside out. However, the  hounds then locked their dark eyes onto Perseus Jackson. "PERCY !!" Jason yelled , trying to get his attention. Percy hadn't heard him at all. That is when Percy heard a voice in his head admist the battle going on. Percy seemed to be frozen & couldn't seem to move. "Little Perseus, my have you grown..." It was a womanly voice, dark & powerful. The complete contrast to Gaea. 

      "What do you want from me ?" The voice chuckled deep. "You'll know soon enough young demigod. For I have all the time in the world..." Jason, Piper, Leo, & Hazel continued to scream to try & get Percy's attention, to no avail. Lastly, Nico shadow-traveled close to Percy, but when he touched Percy's arm he was shocked with an immense burning sensation. Nico quickly realizing there was nothing they could do to get Percy to snap out of it. 

          Quickly the voice was gone as fast as it came. As soon as Percy could move again he saw the disaster around him, along with his friends disappointed looks. Then that's when he finally noticed Lucas wielding a bloody sword covered in bruises. Lucas had defeated those hellhounds & Percy hadn't moved once during that battle.... The whole camp looked absolutely horrified that their hero hadn't even helped in defending camp.

        Will Solace managed to see dark flowers growing around camp & he knows that the children of Demeter had not grown such a plant. For floriculture was a well known practise of agriculture by Demeter. He took samples, so he could research what exactly the flower had caused or why it bloomed. Something was coming. The god's then called a meeting. Zeus  making a drastic decision that ended up with a new hero crowned, as well as a new claimed child.

{Olympus, Throne Room}

             One by one the god's settled into their thrones. The seven taking their respective places at their parents sides. Percy stood at the end of Hera's throne. "Poseidon, my dearest brother. Start this meeting off." Zeus said already seeming to be bored of the meeting, bored eyes resting angrily on Percy for a few seconds. 

         Poseidon ushered a boy a few years younger than Percy forward. "This is Nick Stone, my newest son." The room erupted in slight confusion, but nonetheless could deny that Nick was Poseidon's son. Hera rested a hand on her son's shoulder, no doubt picking up on his distress. Concealing her own. Poseidon had claimed another child. Nick was quite shy & avoided eye contact with everyone, Hestia felt best taking him to camp.

             After Zeus had shut everyone up his eyes filled with rage as he stared down at Perseus Achilles Jackson. "YOU CALL YOURSELF A HERO ? FROM WHAT I SAW TODAY YOU, PERSEUS JACKSON, ARE A DISGRACE OF A DEMIGOD !" Percy stood silently taking this public humiliation. "Father--" Apollo tried to interject, but Artemis stopped him. Artemis really didn't want to anger their father more than he already was. Athena was next to question her father, Lord Zeus. "Don't you dare--" Zeus's eyes flared even more in angry. "DON'T I DARE WHAT ?! LEARN WHEN TO KEEP YOUR TONGUE, DAUGHTER !"

Aphrodite comforted her siblings. Hera stood up. "You will not speak to my son that way, Zeus. I forbid it." Zeus rolled his eyes. "YOU FORBIT IT ?!" Everyone in the throne flinched because of the aura of anger radiating off the King & Queen of the gods. Poseidon locked eyes with Percy for only a second before Percy shook in pain. A blood curling scream leaving his lips. 

        Percy's screaming died down later , & he was curled into himself on the throne room floor. Zeus's eyes cast down at the other demigods as he sat down once again. "THE NEW HERO OF OLYMPUS IS LUCAS BLACK, SON OF HERMES !" With Apollo's blessing Percy slowly healed himself. Hera already checking on him. Lucas bowed before Zeus, taking his place back next to Hermes. 

         Once stood up once more Percy's eyes no longer held love, his eyes slightly looked void of all emotion. He simply turned & walked out of the throne room. The gods who defended him vocally & internally staring down Zeus. The god of the Skies wasn't a fool. He wouldn't be mistaken for one either. "You may return to camp."

{Camp Half-Blood, Hera Cabin}

Percy POV

       I had to leave. Without any doubt Zeus has claimed me unfit of a hero. I packed quickly. It was still fairly early in the morning. So, most campers were still asleep. I need to be gone before they come back from Olympus. "Where are you going ?" Nick asked as he sat on the bed. Fuck ! I had completely forgotten about Nick ! 

        I  gave ny new younger brother a desperate smile. "Nick, I have to go. I would appreciate it if you kept this between us, little brother." Nick wasn't stupid. He could tell that I was very serious. "I won't breathe a word of it. If anyone asks I was asleep when you supposedly left." I can't shut out my brother, it wouldn't sit right with me if I did so. I gave him a bag filled with about 20 golden drachmas. "You'll be able to iris message me whenever. Just please do it in private. I don't want anyone else to know where I am ."

          Nick nodded along. I assume Lady Hestia had explained everything to him as she escorted him to camp. Then I handed him Riptide. "A pen ? What would I need a pen for ?" I chuckled finishing my packing. "Uncap it, doofus." He uncapped the pen & a look of astonishment crossed his face. "Per--" "I must go now, little brother. Take care of yourself & that sword. Whenever you lose Riptide it will conjure in your pocket." Nick rushed up & hugged me. I hugged back for a few long seconds before I started to secretly make my way to the border of camp.

       As I finally got to Thalia's tree, the others were just now entering camp. Lucas seemed happy, as well as did Annabeth. Everyone else looked conflicted. I couldn't blame them either, it was Zeus's decision. Then they reached the Poseidon cabin. I crossed the border & I got to trekking quickly. I wasn't going to waste anytime.

{Poseidon Cabin, Camp Half-Blood}

Nick POV

     I valued my brother Percy's wish. Whatever happened in that throne room had set him off. I am at least glad that he hadn't dismissed me like I wasn't here. In fact Percy had been more tan kind to me. I was grateful to have a brother as him to live up to. Regardless of whatever happened today in the throne room of the gods. 

       Then there was a knock on my cabin door. I rubbed my eyes & opened the door. "Is Percy here ?" A blonde girl with grey eyes asked. I shook my head in refusal letting them in. "No, I haven't had the chance of seeing him." They looked around finding that my cabin was quite empty, as well as Riptide. I hid the drachmas in my pocket. A blonde boy with electrifying eyes darted out, running to the Hera cabin. I followed them, pretending to be shocked. "He really is gone.... Where would he have gone Jason ??" A girl questioned as she hugged, who I am learning, is Jason Grace. "I don't know, Piper. I don't know." 

After some time I had gotten to know everyone. They all seemed nice enough. Well, except for Lucas. He just rubbed me the wrong way & I can't put my finger in it.  Wherever Percy is going...

I hope he can finally find some peace....

My brother at least deserves that.....
