Mara stood next to the window overlooking the outside view of her loft apartment, her small black leather bound notebook in hand as she sketched out star charts in every page.

Tonight was quiet which was fine, but a little part of her wished for something exciting to happen.

Suddenly a bright burst of light came barreling down towards her front yard. the space craft landed with a loud crunching sound in the middle of her front yard.

Mara dropped her sketch book and ran over to investigate, the door  of the ship opened and Mara caught sight of the unconscious man laying on the ground before her, she knelt down and carefully placed a cold washcloth on his forehead when he suddenly awoke with a gasp of pain.

"Where am I?" he asked as he looked around taking in his surroundings before his gaze turned skyward for a moment, then shifted to Mara who was still sitting next to him with the warm washcloth in her hand.

"Are you alright?" Mara asked the man as she held his gaze. "You took quite a whack to the head there." she said and the man tilted his head slightly to look at her his movements reminding Mara of a cat.

"Who are you?" he asked her as he regarded her with a curious expression.

"My name is Mara, what is your name?" Mara asked as she held out the warm washcloth again.

"You're hurt pretty bad pretty bad there pal, let me help you clean up your wounds." Mara said, and the man nodded as he held still allowing her to wash his burns he looked at her with a small smile.

"My name is Titus Abrasax." he said after a brief pause as he looked up at Mara.
