I gawked. Kameko fighting witches? She could barely swat a fly!

"Lucy," she still stared at Kyubey. "What a bout Lucy? Can't she fight too?" Suddenly, she found her head up, tears welling at the side of her eyes. "I can't fight without her! Can't she... Make a contract or something!?"

"Depends," Kyubey remained emotionless. "Does she have a wish?" Kameko looked to me desperately, green eyes throbbing with tears. Her pigtails spun around with her head.

"Um..." Should I let them down? What if I couldn't fight witches? Even if I could, there was still a bigger problem. "I don't have a wish." Disappointment filled Kami's eyes. "Can't I tag along? Until I get my wish?" Kyubey shrugged.

"I see no problem!" Just as he said that, the bell rang for us to go to class. Kyubey turned and sauntered off.

I ran to the steps and leaped two at a time, Kami following down. She tripped on the last step and flailed her arms until I pushed her back up. She smiled and laughed.

"Geez, I seriously could not fight without you!" At the mention of that, I noticed something in the corner of my eye that she had probably already been staring at.

"Nice to see you, Kyubey," I turned and said coldly. He simply kept that smile that was looking more and more sadistic.

"Hello, Kameko Hisa and Lucy Iku. Please, follow me." He turned around and ran off. I could have sworn I saw a flash of long black hair run tp in the same direction, but when I turned to the bushes where I'd seen it, it was gone. When I turned back, Kami was only a few feet away from Kyubey, so I chased after them.

It had been 7 minutes when we came across a brick wall. "Kyubey," Kameko addressed. "Where exactly is the witch?"

Kyubey nudged his tail over towards the wall, and we leaned closer. Then we saw a black orb with a silver casing stuck inside the wall. "A witch, Kameko Hisa, is inside of a labyrinth. A labyrinth is found here." Kyubey tapped the black orb and a hole opened. "Now, look at your finger."

Kami did as she was told and gasped. A ring rested around her finger. On the nail, a green circle without its colored interior was painted. Then, she brought her finger up, and was in eloped by a green and purple aura.
