Running through the trees, the wind whipping her hair all around her Andy felt free.
It had been years since she felt this young, this childish. Her childhood was filled with doctor appointments and hovering parents. Full of pity-filled glances, and wary looks.
Weaving in between trees, keeping close to the path with teenage boys chasing after her was fun. She liked fun.
Something about all of this made Andy want to stop and take pictures. To take in the scenery, analyze the beauty of the nature around her. She vowed to come back for a photo shoot, maybe take Bella or one of the Cullen's with her.
Andy glanced behing her only to find them closing in. With an excited laugh she picks up the pace and tries to outrun them.
She knew they would catch her, that she would lose, but she couldn't bring herself to regret initiating the game.
Stopping behing a particularly large tree, Andy tries to catch her breath. Keeping quiet, she could hear the boys come to a stop.
"Andy!" Jacob calls.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Quil adds on.
Placing a hand over her mouth, she tries to smother her giggles. She quickly and quietly picks her way through the trees so that she's behind the boys.
Andy whistles to grab their attention before taking off back towards the Black residence. Leaving behind confused boys, one in particular wearing a goofy grin.

Right as Andy made it out of the tree line the rain started. She laughed at the misfortune of the boys, hoping they wouldn't get drenched.
Taking shelter in Jacobs makeshift garage, Andy took the time to think before the boys showed up.
Sure she didn't get the chance to think, but she did put herself around people and mamage to feel completely at ease.
There had to be something about this situation that was key to control.
More test would have to follow.
Glancing around towards the woods, she tried to spot the boys returning. Seeing no sign of them, she turns and goes snooping through Jake's work place.
Frankly, the place was a mess. It was obvious it was a boys space. Garbage and random tools laying around all over.
It was making her uncomfortable.
Pushing the feeling aside, she tries to find anything that could be used as blackmail material, but Jake comes up clean.
Heaving a sigh, she turns to the car that Jake was fixing up. Looking under the opened hood, she couldn't help but admire the work the boy was doing. This was seriously cool.
The sound of footsteps brought her out of her thoughts and she goes back to the entrance to see the boys nearing the house.
"Hey!" Andy calls. "Quil!"
The boy in question looks up to where she called him from, a smile adorning his face.
He quickly jogs to close the distance between them, scooping her up in his arms, and shaking his wet hair all over her.
Andy freezes momentarily in his arms, not at all used to people, especially guys, being this close to her. Slowly, she wraps her arms around his shoulders, holding him close.
She might not be used to people showing her affection, but she really loved it.
"I see you got caught in the rain," she shyly whispers.
"I didn't realize you were so fast," he said with a laugh.
Wiggling a little, she gets herself out of his hold and her feet back on the ground.
Peering up at the boy through her lashes, she tries to reign in the amount of emotions that are running through her. Mentally sorting through them, trying to figure out what is her own and what isn't. Unfortunately for her, she had no idea at all what she was even feeling.
She made a mental note to speak to Jasper about it. How does she tell what emotion is what? How does she tell which ones are her own?
Looking behind him, she gives a tiny wave to the other boys. Andy realizes that she now has to interact with them without her sister around.
Sticking close to Quils side, she tries to force herself to pick up on his feelings. The boy was always happy and calm, where as she was almost always anxious.
"Crazy girl," Jacob says with a laugh. "You we're like some kind of fox. How does such a tiny thing move so fast?"
"Maybe you're just fat," she mumbles to herself.
The sound of laughter makes her glance up at the boy beside her. Apparently she wasn't quiet enough.
Shuffling on her feet, she swallows the lump in her throat and plays with the hem of her shirt.
Taking a few steps back, she turns and places her hand on Jake's car.
"So is this all for show or do you actually know how to build this thing?" she asks to no one particular.
It was getting pretty late when Charlie came out to tell them to come in to eat. The group hadn't even realized the time as the boys, mainly Jacob, tried their hardest to teach Andy the inner workings of the machine.
The guys waisted no time in racing to get food, leaving Andy in their dust laughing her ass off.
Andy made her way inside slowly, she was enjoy the calm that had settled over her. While the boys had kept their emotions to themselves for the most part, their were moments when an array of different feelings would assault her and she'd have to take multiple moments to get herself under control.
She was familiar with anxiety attacks, but she had a feeling the boys would freak out and have no idea what to do.
She made yet another mental note since she got hear: get an emotion chart.
Reaching the fromt door, she cautiously walks in, not entirely sure what to expect.
Andy had been to the Black residence before that much shr knew. She just didn't remember it.
The home was small, smaller than her own, but it was nice. It reminded her of the Quileute tribe, like it was specifically decorated to represent the reserve.
Walkimg to the small kitchen, she took a piece of pizza from the books and leaned against the counter. Listening to the conversation going on around her.
She had managed about half a piece becore she started to feel nauseous. Sighing quietly, she tried to force it down.
She knew that this wasn't her fault. Her anorexia problem was something she got from someone else when she was younger, but she still had trouble with it now. Sometimes it would come back and haunt her. It was the reason why Bella would pack her lunches and watched her eat.
"Hey, when is the next game?" Andy asks, trying to make conversation.
"Probably next Saturday, why?" Jacob asks.
"Well, i wanted to come take some picture of the woods around here, I was just wondering when I could possible make it back to the rez."
"What is it, with you and pictures?" Quil questions. "How did that picture you took of me turn out?"
"It was actually came out really nice," she tells him. Playing with her food, she looks up and meets Quil's eyes.
"Picture are kind of a way for me to escape. It's like I have complete control. Spotting the details that most people would over look make me feel sort of powerful I guess," she tells him honestly. "The way a picture can tell a story, or capture a moment in time make me feel like, like I-uh, I don't know..."

Quil wasn't sure what he was doing. All he knew was that this girl was driving him crazy. It was like there was some kind of pull, like she was calling to him.
Looking into her eyes, he could see the amount of pain hidden behind her eyes. He could see the way she gazed hungrily at her food, but didn't eat. He could notice how thin she was and he knew that she wasn't okay.
He just wanted to help her, he wanted her to be okay.
Lookig her in the eyes, he saw her smile shyly at him. He saw her finish her pizza, and he saw her grab anothed piece even if she looked like she was going to be sick.
He admired everything about this girl, he felt like he could, would do anything for her and it honestly, kinda, really, scared him.
