The mirror was never kind to Andy. She often saw a scared little girl in her reflection. A broken girl who hid behind her camera and her sister.

Andy hated mornings, not because she wasn't a morning person, but because of the medication she needed to take. Meds for her anxiety. Because at one point in her life, people thought she was crazy. Everyone but Bella.

Bella always understood Andy because she actually listened to what she was saying. She never tried to view her from a psychological perspective, instead Bella viewed her as she actually was. Her little sister that had a bad experience with life. Some people say that she's being dramatic, or that she's faking it all. Bella understands and that's why Andy would do anything for her.

Andy knew that sometimes her mind played tricks on her. That what she saw in the mirror wasn't always real. She also knew that she wasn't a good judge when it came to herself. Andy often wanted to run from her own mind.

Looking at herself one more time, Andy makes sure to avoid her face and focuses solely on her outfit. A nice black chemise, with a black skirt and over the knee socks: black. Andy could tell that she was in a mood, what that mood was exactly? She had no idea.

Making her way downstairs. She took her time, getting to the kitchen. She knew that if Charlie was still home then she would be stuck in some sort of awkward conversation.

Andy loved her father, she really did. It was Andy's fault that she didn't have many friendships, or many overall relationships. It took her a while before she was able to trust someone, so it was her fault when people stopped trying to get her to open up.

Coming into the kitchen, she sees Bella rummaging around the fridge. Pulling out everything she knows will be needed.

Without looking up Bella says, "I set up a place on the counter for your meds. And I just made your lunch."

"You didn't have to Bells," Andy replies with a sigh.

"I wanted to. Plus I know what your diet consist of, the school doesn't." Bella simply says.

"Thank you then. Do you need any help?"

"No just eat. Hurry. I'm going to finish up here, then grab my stuff. We're leaving in 15."

Andy looks at the food that Bella took out for her: yoghurt, cut fruits, and a fried egg sandwich. Realizing that she's going to need to start waking up earlier, she eats as quickly as possible.

Rushing out the door that morning, Andy loved the new truck that Bella would be driving them to school in. Old cars were always a passion for her, she loved any chance she could get to fix up a car or a least get under the hood.

To Bella's dismay, Andy stop to take a picture of the old thing to add to her collection.

"Andy-"

"- I know. I'm coming," she cuts off Bella, rushing into the truck and slamming her door.

"Let's go Bells!"

"Don't slam the door!" Bella tells her, " and put your seatbelt on."

Andy mumbles a "yes mom."

Receiving a look from her sister, she does as told and listens to Bella continue her mothering.

"You took your meds? And you have your lunch, right? You'll call me if you need me?"

"Yes to all. You don't need to worry so much, I brought my camera so i should be fine."

The older sister simply sighs and nods her head as she pulls into the schools parking lot.

Andy immediately starts to take in details; watching the people, the size of the school, any possible exits. She finishes on the cars, taking note that the nicest car here is a Volvo.

"Nice truck," the guy parked next to them said.

Bella glanced back, "thanks."

Making their way to the school, Andy links her arm with Bella's.

"I think he was being sarcastic," she giggles, "people are staring you know. I don't think they get new students very often. How long do you think they'll stare for? Because it's getting kinda annoying. Most of them look like idiots too. I mean why they even care- "

"Hush Andy, people are going to hear you."

Andy looks around and sends a tiny glare to an approaching Asian student. She doesn't pay any attention to the student, instead she focuses on trying to find the office; making sure she doesn't make eye contact with anyone.

Turning back to face Bella, she whispers into her ear, "I found the office."

Realizing the unknown student is still there, she says "we need to go get our schedules or we'll be hella late."

Without waiting a response, she drags her older sister away from the kid and to the office.

The office was small and the secretary looked extremely bored. Noticing her sister isn't going to say anything, Andy clears her throat.

"Oh hello dears, what can I help you with?" The old woman asks.

"Um we- we're new transfers. Isabella and Andrea Swan." The youngest says without looking at the lady.

"Oh yes! Chief Swan's girls! Here you go, both of your schedules. There's a map of the school for you both do you don't get lost."

Saying there thank yous, the girls leave the office comparing schedules.

Still looking at her schedule, the younger sister excitedly says, "look Bee! We have the same lunch! And we have biology and history together! They also gave me honors English!"

Not waiting for her sisters response, she skipped away to her first class.

After history, the Swan sisters made their way to the cafeteria where some people have invited Bella to eat lunch with them.

"Bel- Bella ! Over here!" Some blonde boy calls out.

Bella starts to make her was over to the table after getting her lunch, stopping only briefly to make sure that Andy was following her.

To Andy, the amount of people at the table was anything but ideal. The boys looked like they wanted to pounce on her sister. Like she was some piece of meat. The girls didn't look entirely welcoming to new comers at the table.

Andy decided that she didn't want to take part in the conversation. Instead she stuck to Bella's side hoping that her awkward sister can save her from speaking to the older teens. Slowly eating the lunch that her sister made for her, she listens to what everyone at the table is saying.

"- or speedo padding on the swim team." Bella says.

The other two girls look at each other.

The one with glasses says, "that's actually really good."

"Kirk, right? That's exactly what I was thinking," the girl with stiff hair turns to glasses and replies.

"I kinda want to meet this Kirk now," Andy whispers to Bella with a giggle.

Bella looked to her younger sister with wide eyes before bursting into laughter.

Whilst trying to quiet her sister, Andy feels a strange feeling wash over her. A feeling of hunger and pain that is unexplainable and uncontrollable. Different feelings started to bombard Andy, making it hard for her to breathe. Gripping her sisters hand like her life depended on it, she looked for different exits trying to judge which one would get her out the fastest.

Drawing the attention of the people around her, they notice her glancing at one of the outside exits.

Four beautifully pale people walk into the building, all of them sitting together at the same table.

Bella turns to her newly made friends. "Who are they?"
