Error looked back and saw nightmare standing a few feet away. He had a look of terror on his face.

"O-oh! Hey nightmare!" Error said cheerily trying to keep calm for the goopy skeleton.

"W-what happened to you!?..." nightmare asked as he walks over to error quickly.

Nightmare kneels down next to error while staying a bit away from his so his haphephobia doesn't act up.

Tears spill from nightmares eyes as he sees the glitching skeleton in such a terrible state...

"SHhH....nIghTy...IM okAy noW..." error said in attempt to calm nightmare down. But to no avail.

"W-who did this to you!?...." nightmare asked with tears still streaming down his cheeks.

"NiGhty....doNt WorRY aBouT it...." error said while placing his hand on nightmares cheek. He wiped away his tears. Nightmare blushed a dark teal.

Error sat up slowly and opened his arms. Nightmare blushed and hugged the glitch tightly. Error laughed quietly and blushed yellow.

"O-okay....." nightmare said as he hid his face in errors shirt.

The two skeletons just sat there in eachothers embrace. Nightmare was closing his eyes as he listened to errors soul beat. Error smiled down at the smaller skeleton.

Error wonders if he would ever be able to live in peace...he wonders if his depression would stop wearing him down...he wonders if HE would stop harming and forcing him...he wonders if the voices would stop...he wonders if the voices were someone he knew...

He has so many questions....but right now he needs to focus on keeping nightmare and the gang safe....

Error smiled and blushed as the gang came to mind...hes liked them for a while now...hes just scared of rejection....

Nightmare looked at at error and blushed slightly.

"YEs nIgHtY?" Error asked and smiled down at him.

"D-do you...? U-uhm...." nightmare hesitated....he was scared....

"NiGhtMarE...." error said sternly. Error wasn't trying to be rude...he just wants to know when something wrong...stuttering doesn't help...

Nightmare sighed and looked down.

"W-why wont y-you tell me w-who HE i-is..?" Nightmare asked softly. He was really worried for errors saftey...

"W-wEll....I CanT hAvE yoU oR tHe GanG beiNg hUrt By HiM...." error said while looking down...he really cant tell them....HE would start hurting the gang.....that's what he said....he could just be bluffing....but error knew him....he kept his word....no matter what.....

"O-okay then...will you ever tell us...?" Nightmare asked him quietly. Error can get annoyed easily...he didn't wanna risk it...

"I dOnT knOw yEt NightMAre....mAybE oncE wE aRe AbLe To mAke A TrUce....wiTh tHe STar SanSes...." error said with an unsure voice...

"Okay..." nightmare said and sighed...

Suddenly, they both heard a portal open.

"Error!?"
"Brother!?"
