Prologue

    A young girl in her late twenties stood under an old willow tree dressed in a long white bride dress. Her face covered by a vail as she waited. Soon she knew her true love would be there, and soon she would be married to him. She kept pacing back and forth almost getting worried, why wasn't he here yet? She risked everything to be here, to be with him. She stopped pacing as she looks down at the chest that sat by her feet. Inside was her families inheritance, it was everything they owned. She could feel her hands shake, maybe she should of left them something. But her love... He said he would take care of them after they were married.

    She took a deep breath, everything would be fine once he got here. She start to think about her family, her sister specially, what would happen to her? Would she be okay once she was gone? She shook her head, no stop thinking about it, it was their fault she was doing this, if they just let her marry who she wanted, none of this would of happened. But honestly this wasn't the first man she's even loved, she did love another but that was a long long time ago. Back when she was a kid, she didn't even know where that boy was now but she didn't want to live, she missed him, she thought she was going to marry him as a kid. What a silly thought thinking she would marry a boy she only knew for a month or so. But yet, she fell in love with him.

    But that was so long ago, now she had a man who wanted to marry her, who cared for her enough to runaway with her. That's what mattered, that's what she wanted.

    "Hello." She heard making her jump as she turned feeling a smile on her face. It was hard to see his face from the dark shadows of the night covering him but she knew it was him, her love. "You came." She says as she went into his arms. He held her close, "Of course I did. Did you really think I would back out of this?" He ask as she looks up at him. "I just got a little worried, you're late." She answers making him smile, "Well it was hard to find a suit last minute my love." He answers moving the veil from her face. She was hoping he would kiss her but his eyes went behind her to see the chest, "Is that it?" He ask making her turn around and nod, "yeah, I took everything I could to help us with our new life." She says turning back to him.

    "I'm so glade you did that dear." He answers kissing her lightly on the lips. She pulls back and places her head on his chest "We'll... We'll help them after we're married right?" She ask. "Who?" He ask making her look up, "My family, they'll die if they can't have something to help them out, I took a lot of money and jewels for us." She answer. She heard him laugh, "Right of course we will dear. Once we're married, everything will be just fine." He answers making her smile that's all she needed to hear.

    She steps back and holds onto his hands, "Where is the priest at?" She ask looking around not seeing anyone, just her and him. "Right the priest, he'll be... A little late." He says pulling her close. "How late?" She ask feeling his hand go to her neck before she felt a sharp pain go into her back making her gasp as she fell to the ground.

    "Oh no one is coming my dear." She hears a laugh before the world around her went more dark and her heart stopped beating.
