Epilogue
Epilogue
Anna sat on the ledge of her bay window as she was reading her book, it's been almost two months since the night of her wedding, the night she became a widow and also became a bride again. "Anna, are you home?" Anna hears as she looked at her door, "In the living room." She yells closing her book right as her husband walked in. "Ah, right where I left you." Kristoff teases as he walks over and kisses the top of his wife's head. "Don't tease me." She jokes as she lifts up her head more and gives him a right kiss. "How was work?" she ask as she moves over and let's Kristoff sit down next to her.
"Really good. Mr. Frost is actually a very understanding man." He says moving his arm around Anna. The next morning after the wedding, Mr. Frost hired Kristoff to be his partner at his ice business which Kristoff happily took meaning he could finally help Anna and her family. He even put money into the Arendelle's house and staff for the first two months so Kristoff could have money for a honeymoon.
Anna put her head on his shoulder, "I'm glade you like it." She answers making him smile, "It pays the bills and keeps you and your family safe." He answers as kisses her again. He still couldn't believe that two months ago, he almost lost her. He knew she was still upset on what happened to her sister, to what happened to Elsa and Jack. He still didn't believe what happened though, right after Elsa's said her vows, it was like their bodies became light as they disappeared. Anna didn't get to say goodbye to Elsa again and Jack's family lost their only son. Maybe that's why the Frost asked Kristoff to work with him, to act like he still had a son.
Thinking of Mr. Frost, Kristoff sit back and pulled a letter out of his pocket, "Mr. Frost wanted me to give this to you." He says handing the letter to Anna. "What is it?" She ask but he just shrugged, "I'm not sure, read it while I make tea." He answers as he stood up and walked into the kitchen. Anna sighs as she opens the letter and the first thing she saw was her name.
Anna,
I thought I owe you an explanation on what happened the night on our wedding. After I ran off, I went into the woods to practice my vows and to think of a way to help you be with the one you truly loved. While doing my vows, your sister was listening, waiting for me. I didn't know it at the time that you two were related, but now thinking about it, how could I have not seen it? You two are so much alike and yet not alike at the same time.
Talking with Elsa, I realized that we've meet before, before she was killed. She was the woman I've been in love with for years, she was the one I wanted to marry. And I knew the only way for me to be with her, was to die. But I didn't want to die without helping you out. Which is why I asked my father to hire Kristoff to take my place as his partner and as a son he now would lose. I also asked to pay off at less two months of house payments and for your family's staff to keep working and helping you out until Kristoff got on his feet.
I hope you understand that I didn't die out of vain or out of unhappiness, I died to help you and to help myself. I hope you find this letter and know that Elsa and I, we're always with you.
We love you.
Jack
Anna covered her mouth as tears streamed down her face. Jack did what he wanted to do, he saved her family and still found happiness. She placed the letter on her lap as she tried to wipe her tears, to stop crying but she couldn't. "Anna I have..." she hears as Kristoff walked in seeing his wife crying. "Anna, what's wrong?" He ask putting the tea down and ran to her. Anna couldn't talk as she handed the letter to him. Kristoff raised an eyebrow as he grabbed the letter and read it in silents.
Anna held her hands as she waited but not long as she looked at him to see him covering his mouth and looking at her. "He... He did this for us?" Kristoff asked. Anna wanted to say yes but before she could she heard a tap on the window. She turned her head as she saw two blue jays on the window sill outside. The jays almost looked alike except one of them had a white spot on it's chest. Both of the jays were just looking at Anna as the one with the white spot put it's head on the glass making Anna touch the the glass with her hand. "Elsa?" She whispers as the jay pulled it's head back and looked at it's mate. The other jay nods it's head as it took off flying. Anna's blue jay looked back at her one more time before flying off joining her mate.
"Anna?" She heard next to her as she felt another tear go down her face as she smiles and shakes her head, "No, Jackson didn't do this for us. He did it for Elsa.
"So she can finally be free."
