Chapter 4: Tear To Shed
Chapter 4: Tear To Shed
Elsa was right, the bar was empty as Jack walked in to wait for her. He couldn't shake the feeling that he knew Elsa, somehow. There was something in her eyes that made it feel like they meet before. Jack shook his head as he walked in more to see a piano in the middle of the room. Jack sigh happily as he walked over to it, finally something he was familiar with. Jack touched the keys as he sat down taking a deep breath and start to play the song he wrote for the ocean eye girl. He closed his eyes thinking about the first time he saw her, ever since he got into this world, he started to see her face more and more. But all he saw where her eyes and her lips, everything else was covered in darkness, like it was a puzzle still being built.
He remember that he was in piano class and he didn't want to be there, he didn't want to be where his mother sent him. But the minute he heard a piano play, he was drawn in, wanting to play it more. Then... He found out who was playing, the ocean blue eye girl. It was like her fingers were moving on their own as she played. After that, she became Jack's partner, to help him learn to play, to read the music, to write his own music. It was strange to have a girl play the piano but he was happy she was there. And he was lucky enough to get his first kiss from her. She even said she loved him, and he said it back. She was Jack's first true love.
But not long after, she was taking out of class, he never knew why, where she went or what her name was. To him, she was just the ocean eye girl, his first love, and the woman he wanted to marry. Even at a young age, he wanted to marry that girl.
Jack was so lost of the memory, the music he was play he didn't hear anyone come in behind him until he heard the other side of the piano play. He opened his eyes and looked to see Elsa next to him play. Jack smiled seeing her next to him as he started to play faster seeing if she could keep up. And she did. Elsa didn't miss a beat as she locked eyes with Jack. The minute Jack saw her eyes again, the piece of this puzzle finally came together.
Jack didn't see the corpse bride with the blue skin, skeleton left hand and gray/blue eyes. He saw ocean blue eyes with snow blonde hair and cherry red lips with soft white skin. Elsa was Jack's dream girl... His first love. Jack stop playing as he places his hand on his lap trying to take it all in as Elsa followed. "Are you okay?" She ask. But Jack didn't say anything he just kept looking at her still in amazed that he found her. "Where did you learn to play?" She ask trying to break him form the spell he put himself in.
Finally he shook his head, "What?" He ask making her laugh, "I asked where did you learn to play the piano?" She ask again. "Oh... At a small school in my hometown." He says. "Oh, same." She says with a smile but Jack already knew that. "But my mother made me quit not long after I started." She says making Jack raise an eyebrow, "Why?" He ask. He could tell she was nervous now, "Oh.. it's so silly. I meet this boy there... We got close and he..." Elsa says as she sees Jack moving closer to her. "Funny, I meet a girl in my class too. And I got very close to her." He says brushing her arm alittle with his finger. "And you know, you kind of look like her, but an older version of her." He says making Elsa stand still as Jack touch her cheek.
"Did you ever get his name?" Jack ask. "No... Just his last name." She says her hands shaking. "Which is?" He ask grabbing her hand, he wanted to be right, he wanted this to be the girl. Elsa took a deep breath, "Frost." She whisper making Jack smile as he moves his lips to hers, god he missed her. He pulled back placing his forehead on hers, "It really is you." He says "You're the boy? How... How could I forget that?" She ask making Jack shrug, "We were kids then Elsa, I didn't remember you either until now." He says making Elsa laugh, "I don't know how I could forget hair like yours though." She giggles touching Jack's hair making him smile, he was so happy. "I didn't know you were still around." She says remember that day they kissed under a white piano while everyone else was outside waiting form their families, she loved him so much then. Jack pulled back to look at her again, to see the corpse again. "God Elsa, why did this happen to you?" Jack ask as Elsa lend her head on his hand, "Bad luck I guess." She giggles but Jack didn't want to laugh, he was to upset to laugh.
He remembered what she said about her family, remind him of Anna, how she still needed help. "Elsa, you said you took everything from your family right?" He ask making her flinch, he didn't want to remind her but he had too. "Yes, why?" She ask a little hurt. "I'm asking because before we got... Married, I was to marry a woman tonight to help her family form going to the poor house." He says making Elsa look at him, "You... You're suppose to get married tonight to another woman?" She ask making him nod, "But let me explain, we both didn't want to marry each other, she loves another like I love you." He says not realizing he said this eight letters.
"You love me?" She ask making Jack blush uncontrollably. "That's... This isn't how I wanted to say it." He laugh making her laugh back as she went into his arms. "I love you too." She answers making him sigh, he was happy. But he knew he had to help Anna still. "Elsa... I can't let Anna suffer." He said making Elsa's head shot up, "Wait... Anna? Her name is Anna?" She ask making Jack nod, "Yeah, Anna Arendelle." He answers making Elsa gasp, she felt like her heart was going to break again, "No... No." She whispers as Jack grabs her shoulders, "Elsa, what is it?" He ask as Elsa looked at him,
"Jackson... I'm Elsa Arendelle, Anna is my little sister."

Anna was trying whatever she could to break down the door, to get to Kristoff, to get out of this room. Right now she was using a pick form her fireplace to hit the door. She wasn't getting far with the pick as she heard her door unlocked and her maid came in holding a white dress. Anna looked at her, "I'm not wearing that, I'm not getting married." Anna says holding the pick up to her maid. But her maid just rolled her eyes and walked past her knowing she wasn't going to do anything.
"Put that thing down before you hurt yourself." Her maid said making Anna glare, "Did you not hear me? I'm not going to marry that lying jerk!" Anna yells walking to her maid, "Can you please tell me where Kristoff is? What room my family locked him in?" Anna asked as her maid grabbed her hand and pushed her into her chair, "I don't know Miss, the masters didn't tell me." The maid said as she starts to undo Anna's bun to re fix it. "Why aren't you listening to me?" Anna ask as her maid comb her hair softly. "Because there is nothing I can do to help you. And you know you have to marry someone who can give you money. If you don't, you're not just hurting your family, you're hurting me." Her maid said making Anna stiff up.
"I love my job here, and I'd be in the poor house with you and your family." Anna's maid continued making Anna lower her head, she didn't think about that. "But he... His not a nice man." Anna says. "It dose not matter Miss. Anna, what matters is you helping your family and me." Her maid says as she finishes putting up her hair. "Now, let's get you into your dress." Anna's maid says as a tear fell from Anna's eye.
There was no stopping this.

"Elsa, Elsa calm down please." Jack says as he watched Elsa walk back and forth, pacing. Her hand was covering her face, "No no I can't calm down! My sister is up there, trying to fix my mistake! I did this to her... She... She has to marry you over the man she actually loves!" Elsa says making Jack glare at her, "Hey, I'm not that bad." Jack says making Elsa stop, "Wait, that's not what I meant... I'm..." She growls as she sits back down with Jack, "I'm sorry. I'm just so mad at myself." Elsa says as Jack grabs her hand, "I know you are, but we have to figure something out, if I don't get back... Upstairs, I won't be able to help her or you." Jack says making Elsa squeeze his hand.
"How are you going to help us? The only way you can help Anna if you marry her... But that might just hurt her more... And me." Elsa says as Jack moves his thumb over her hand, "You think I want to marry Anna? I don't, I want to marry you." Jack says making Elsa smile, "Well, you kind of already are." She teases making Jack do a small smile, "But are we?" He ask lowing Elsa's smile so he was thinking the same thing as she was. "I actually was thinking that too." Elsa says as she lets go of Jack's hand. "When I was gone, I went and talk to a friend of mine." Elsa says making Jack raise and eyebrow, "Who?" He ask.
"Me." They heard a booming voice as the young couple looked at the doorway to see a small skeleton. "Everglot." Elsa says standing as Jack joins her. "Did you find it?" She ask going down to her knees to look at her old friend. Everglot nods his head, "I did but you won't like it." He says as he holds a book handing it to Elsa. Elsa took it and placed it on the piano as Jack and Everglot followed.
Elsa opened the book to the bookmarked paged to see a picture of a bottle with an 'X' on it. Everglot looks up at Jack who was just looking at the book, it was strange to be so close to a living. "You must be the boy our Elsa has fallen for?" He ask making Jack nod, "I'm Jackson Frost sir." Jack says making Everglot smile, there wasn't alot of gentlemen out there anymore. "Everglot, what did you find?" Elsa ask making Everglot's smile go down.
"Marriage... Is only biding for death do you part." Everglot started making Elsa squeeze her arm. "Death has already parted you Elsa." He says making her look down at the ground. Jack went up to her and put his arm around her shoulder, "What can we do?" He ask. "There is only one thing we can do." Everglot says looking at Jack, he didn't want to say the next part, this young man was still alive, he had a life. "Jack would need to drink the wine of ages." Everglot says making Elsa gasp, "No, no I won't ask him to do that." She says.
Jack was confused, he had nod idea why Elsa was so upset. "What is the wine of ages?" Jack ask but on the look of Elsa's face, he was wondering if maybe he shouldn't of asked. "It's poison." Everglot says making Elsa sob and Jack set back, "Poison... I have to die?" He ask making Everglot nod, "That is the only way this marriage will work." Jack fell back into a chair putting his hand to his hair, he had a feeling something like this was going to happen but he just didn't want to believe it. He looked up at Elsa, Jack thought she was more upset then he was, maybe because he knew how it was to be dead, to not see the sunlight ever again, to see family.
"Everglot, can you please give Elsa and I some time to talk?" Jack says standing up making Everglot nod as he closed the book and starts to walk out, "I'll be outside if you need me." He says before he close the door behind him. Jack turns to Elsa who wouldn't even look him in the eye, she was embarrassed to even look at him.
She didn't want Jack to feel what she felt when she died, alone, scared, betrayed. She wanted him to live his life, to be happy. "Elsa..." She heard but she kept her head down as tears stained her face. She heard Jack sigh before she felt something under her chin making her look up to see Jack's eyes on hers. "We need to talk about this." He says making her shake her head, "No we don't, there is nothing to talk about. Everglot is going to send you back upstairs and you are going to live your life." She says pushing Jack back.
Elsa starts to walk to the door to call Everglot, she was done and she didn't want Jack to see her cry again. "Don't I get a say in this!?" Jack yells making Elsa stop. "This is my life, my soul, my... death!" Jack says making Elsa flinch. "You don't get to tell me what I can or can't do." Jack says as he starts to walk to Elsa. He put his hand on her shoulders, "And all I wanted in life, was to marry you." He whispers in her ear making her shiver.
"If you drink that wine... You'll die Jackson... You won't be able to see your family again, the sun... The moon." She whispers. "I don't care." He says making her turn to him, "I would give all that up, for you." He answers placing his forehead to hers, "I love you." he says making her laugh a little, "Enough to drink poison?" She ask making him nod, "I would stab myself in the heart if I needed to." He says making Elsa laugh again, "I hate that you are making me want you to die." She says making Jack laugh this time, "Come here." He says as he slowly starts to kiss her making her melt in his arms.
She was still hesitant about this, to let Jack die but... She couldn't help but love the fact that he would do this for her. As Jack pulled back, he pushed open the door behind her to see Everglot waiting for them. "If we are going to do this, we are going to do this right. I want to marry her upstairs." Jack says making Elsa smile a little, she would want nothing else then to marry him under the moon. "Are you sure you want to do this Frost?" Everglot ask one more time, to make sure he wasn't making a mistake. Jack turned to Elsa and grab her hands, "Yes. I want to marry her more then anything." Jack answers making Elsa smile as she went into his arms.
Jack held her close as his mind started to think of a way to marry her but to also help Anna. He had to help this family, but how? "Jackson." Elsa says making Jack snap back to life as he looks down at Elsa. "Can we see Anna?" She ask not looking up at him. Jack smiles, "Yes love." He says kissing the top of her head as he finally thought of an idea to that would help Elsa and Anna. "I need to do something before we leave." Jack says pushing back and looking at Everglot,
"Everglot, I think I need your help."
