*trigger alert*
It all started in my old room where I used to live with my mom and dad. It was normal in my eyes. Mom and dad were yelling and dad was throwing beer glasses around while I was finishing up the homework that I got today. And thats when it began, I heard my mom scream out of agony. Strange that usually doesn't happen. Then loud stomping foot steps coming up the stairs. 'Oh he must be coming up to take out all his left over anger on me.' I thought, mentally getting ready for all the insults I knew I was going to get. I thought all I was going to have to get through tonight was just a lot of insults and him yelling, but oh boy was I wrong.
*trigger warning over*
I woke up in a cold sweat, hyperventilating from what I would call a flashback instead of a nightmare. I slowly tried to calm my breath, tried that is. No matter what I did my breath wouldn't slow down. It took me three whole minutes to stop hyperventilating. Once I had fully calmed down I slowly pushed myself into a sitting position. I looked at the the slightly new alarm clock that sat on the bedside table. Looking at the time I mentally sighed. 'Great it's time to get ready for school' I thought as I got up from my bed. I slowly walked over to the full length mirror in my room.(The media picture will show you what I am describing) As I looked into the mirror I saw that I looked skinnier than most boys my age, but that just might be because I am a omega. My blue eye looked quite normal while the scars on my silvery gray eye looked like they were healing relatively well. My light gray fox ears looked well groomed and so did my tail. I walked over to my closet and got my usual outfit on. It was a light gray shirt with a gray hoodie that had a light gray stripe in the middle, a pair of blue jeans, and my usual camera mask I wore to hide my gray eye and scars. Next I went to my bathroom to brush my blond hair and groom my ears and tail. I began to think about how fox hybrids usually act. They are sly, sarcastic, but loyal to those they trust. 'Ha, I act nothing like that, but no one can really blame me. If they went throught what I had to go through they would probably act the same way.' I thought as I put down the brush. I went to the kitchen to get my backpack and lunch that I prepped yesterday. I wasn't really hungry this morning so I skipped breakfast and went strait to the door. After locking the door I started to walk to my new high school, not knowing that my life would change as soon as I met him.
