Cory's pov
She had hug me from the back, so I can only see her hair. I turned around, and hugged her back. She cried into my chest.

"Cory.... Y-you saved me.... It still hurts..." She sobbed.

I stroked her hair. Her right shoulder was bleeding, and her left knee. Her face was a flood of purple and red, a result of the blood and bruises.

"Your safe now Shelbs.... Your safe...." I said.

I told everyone that I'm taking Shelby to get wrapped up. We walked in to her apartment. Knife marks were everywhere. We walked into the bathroom, and I patched her up.

I got done. I had to.... Carry her on my back. She wouldn't speak.

"Hey Shelby, you have to record quite a bit." Adam said.

"Do I have to Cory?" She asked me in a whisper.

"Yes Shelby, you do." Adam said.

"Do you want to?" I asked.

"No...." She said.

"Shelby, you have-" I cut Adam off with a death glare.

"It's still the morning. I'm spending the day with Shubs." I said, as Shelby got off. And we walked off.
