Chapter 19
Cora sighed blissfully and turned her head to grin at Yoongi. He rolled onto his side and reached over to run his fingertips across her collarbones, then lightly down her body to her belly, where he rested his hand. She chuckled at him, and rolled to face him.
"That was even more amazing than the first time," she said, batting her eyelashes at him.
"Yes, but I think we should keep practicing. I mean, it was pretty good, but I think we could do even better."
She laughed. "You're so Bangtan sometimes, D. Such a perfectionist." She traced his lips with her index finger, and he pretended to bite it. Cora giggled and hooked her leg over his. She looked down at the place where their legs touched, then looked into his eyes and giggled again.
"What, G? What's so funny?"
"Your skin is so fair, it makes my post-winter Scottish and German skin look tan!" she laughed.
He scoffed and traced the curve of her waist. "You're pale too, though. I don't think you can say it."
"I think I can!" she teased, and ran her hands through his long dark hair. "If you and I ever had any kids, they would be see-through." She fake-frowned at him and shook her head.
He softly petted her hip, looking serious suddenly. "You are so wonderful and so beautiful, Cora Hertshorn. I don't know why I am so lucky."
She smiled softly. "You're speaking my thoughts, Min Yoongi. If this is just a dream, I hope I never wake up." She gazed into his eyes for a long moment, then smirked. "Can I ask you a personal question, D?" she asked.
He raised his eyebrows, but said, "Sure."
"Where's your seven tattoo?"
He laughed and reached down to pull the flat sheet up over his naked body. "I'm not going to say. You have to find it. But you can't reveal!"
She ran her tongue over her lower lip and said, "OK!" She gently moved his hair to check for ink on his neck. Very slowly, she began to pull the sheet down, examining every centimeter of his torso, front and back, running her finger tips over his perfect porcelain skin. She leaned down to plant tiny kisses on him whenever the urge occurred, tugging the sheet lower as she went, until she had explored all of him.
Yoongi's breathing sounded quick and shallow by the time she was done, and she lay down again beside him and pressed her body to his.
"You must have found it some time ago, G," he chuckled in his deepest voice, hugging her to him.
Cora giggled. "I had to make sure you didn't have any more, though. Maybe ARMY just didn't know that you were all tatted up. Like, you could have your entire buttcheek tattooed, and they wouldn't know!"
Yoongi wrinkled his nose and laughed. "You would have seen that soon, though," he pointed out.
She leaned in to kiss the side of his neck. "Or maybe I just love touching you."
He smiled and stroked her hair. "I love when you touch me. I don't think I ever said these words before."
She laughed and squeezed his waist. He rolled onto her and began to kiss her again.

Yoongi noticed that it was already dark outside. 'We didn't have lunch or anything,' he thought, smiling. 'I don't even care. I don't want dinner, but I should check if Cora does.'
Before he could voice his thoughts, she said in a low, sleepy voice, "I didn't think I would like Chicago this much, but it's basically heaven."
He laughed, and turned to face her. "We have only seen this hotel room so far." The pink bloom of her cheeks reminded him of his favorite camellia flowers, which grew in front of his grandmother's house in Daegu.
"Mm-hm. I'm sure this is the best part, though, so it's fine." She closed her eyes and smiled, then turned her head and opened them again slightly. "I think I'm going to sleep really well tonight, loverman. Thank you!"
He blushed and laughed. "My pleasure!" he said, raising one eyebrow. She giggled and closed her eyes again with a happy sigh. He asked, "G, do you want to have dinner tonight? It's already almost 9 pm."
She cracked her eyes open again with a small smile. "I don't feel hungry, just really happy. But if you want to order something from room service, I could be convinced. I'm too relaxed to go out anywhere, though!" she giggled.
"Well, maybe we should share something, at least. We had a small breakfast and nothing but water since..." He groaned and rolled off the bed to find the room service menu.

The late morning sun managed to creep in through the top of the seam in the curtains, illuminating Cora's sleeping face. Yoongi was amazed that the light didn't wake her. 'She looks angelic,' he thought, his heart seizing in his chest.
He remembered their 'getting to know you' conversation in Seoul. 'Her name is beautiful, too, just like she is,' he mused. Rap lyrics started to take form in his mind, and he looked around for his phone to type them down before they slipped away.
He was propped up against the headboard checking email on his phone when Cora made a sighing/yawning sort of sound and opened her eyes. He smiled down at her, and she reached over to run her fingers down his side. "That tickles, G!" he pouted.
She grinned and sat up. "Wow, I feel so well-rested and relaxed and happy this morning. How are you, D?"
"I'm crazy about you," he said, giving her a gummy smile.
She giggled and tilted her head at him. "Jeez, that was so over the top!" She was actually blushing.
"I wrote a rap verse about you this morning. Want to hear?"
She raised her eyebrows, beaming. "A rap verse? Sure!"
He stood up, wearing only his boxers, and held his phone up to be his mic. Staring straight into her eyes, he rapped,
"Heart of my heart / Can't be apart /
Beautiful maiden / My love never fadin' /
Just two serenadin' /
Your arms where all my happiness made in /
Your beautiful self has inspired this rhyme /
I promise my love for the rest of all time."
Cora stared at him open-mouthed, then grinned. "Dang, when did Agust D get so romantic and cheesy?" She did an aegyo flower-cup pose at him.
"Hmm, too cheesy? OK, new song!!" Yoongi started to head-bang and then sang in a screamo style, "She's my PUNK ROCK ANGEL!! Just one look can be FATAL!! She'll stomp on your heart, and punch you apart, she's my PUNK ROCK ANGEL!!!!" He whipped his hair around, head-banging and playing riffs on the air guitar.
Cora laughed so hard she fell off the bed.

Cora was poking a corner of her toast into the egg yolk, her mind pleasantly blank, when suddenly she remembered that Yoongi was supposed to do his vlog today. "D, are you going to film the thingy this afternoon?" she asked.
He looked slightly embarrassed for a moment, but then gave her a mischievous grin. "No, I told them we can do it the last day here, instead. I have better things to do."
"Oooh!" she said, laughing and reaching her toes out to rub his ankle under the table.
He chuckled and blushed, covering by taking a big swig of coffee. "We need to see the arena and do a run-through either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. The stage manager will text about the schedule. But other than this, my calendar is empty today." He smiled at her over the rim of his coffee cup.
Cora grinned at him. "Yesterday was so amazing, I almost want a rerun. But I would feel bad if I spent a week in Chicago and only saw this room and the concert venue." She laughed. "I mean, actually, on second thought, that would be pretty amazing." She raised her eyebrows and beamed at him. "But I feel obligated to see some of the city, for some reason."
Yoongi nodded, taking another bite of his salmon and rice breakfast. "We can take the whole day, so we will have time to see some things and also, you know, enjoy our time." His gaze was suddenly much more direct and intense than she was used to, and she felt the blood rushing to her cheeks.
She giggled. "That sounds perfect, D. I suppose I should take a shower, if we're going to actually put on clothes and go out amongst the populace!" She gave a grandiose wave of her arm toward the city around them, and Yoongi laughed.
"We can take a car tour around, and maybe stop and look at the fountain? Hoba mentioned that there's a giant fountain near the park where Lollapalooza was played. One of the largest in the world."
"Oh, that sounds nice. Hopefully Jiwo won't make ten security guys walk with us." She rolled her eyes.
Yoongi laughed. "Maybe he will. He definitely is saying that security has been too relaxed until now."
Cora scoffed and shook her head. "He's a good guy, but he's also a pain in the ass. Maybe we can also drive along the lake shore for a while? I would like to see more of it. It's really hard to believe that it's fresh water and not the ocean!"
He nodded, smiling fondly at her. She finished the last swallow of her orange juice and said, "Well, I'm going to shower." She studied his face for a moment, her eyes dropping down to his necklace against his bare chest. "But maybe I'm not quite messy enough to need a shower yet," she said, raising an eyebrow. "I wouldn't want to waste water." She stood up and walked over behind his chair, wrapping him in a back hug and leaning down to kiss the side of his neck.
He threw his head back to give her lips better access and closed his eyes. "Mmm," he said, his voice deep and husky. "It's a sin to waste water."

Yoongi rolled out of bed for the second time, to tidy up the breakfast dishes. He heard the water start, and then her voice singing.
'What is it today?' He turned his head toward the bathroom door to hone in. 'Oh, it's For Youth!' He grinned.
Cora was mostly singing nonsense syllables, "Dah-dah-dah dah, Dah dah dah, Dah-da-da-dah, Dah dah dah," for the vocal line portions of the song, but then really letting it rip on the soulful adlibs. "IT'S SO TRUUUUUUEEEEEE!" Yoongi started to giggle.
When she got to J-Hope's rap verse, though, she started to fill in the blanks. "Criminal Nigel, with the light joe, shh, you're my own butt, ne jah, the Jungkook of love."
Yoongi almost toppled out of his chair, J-Hope style, he was laughing so hard. 'Gods, I love this nutty woman so much,' he thought, and felt an unfamiliar ache around his Adam's apple.
She suddenly stopped singing. "YOONGI-AH! HELP, PLEASE!"
He jumped up and ran to the bathroom, cautiously opening the door, his eyes turned away from the glass-enclosed shower stall. "Are you OK?!"
"Yes, I can't reach the towel! Can you hand me one?"
He exhaled hard. "Yes. Here." He kept his eyes carefully averted.
"Seriously, D? You've seen me naked and we have touched very thoroughly, too. You're allowed to look, silly!" He blushed and looked at her face, and then the outline of her body behind the steamed glass.
"I can't look too much if we want to go out today, though," he said. Her musical giggles made his throat tighten again, and he smiled his love to her.
He shook his head as he walked back to his seat. 'This must be what it's like to be married,' he thought, laughing quietly. 'At least, in a really good marriage.' His heart raced for a moment at the idea as he resumed scrolling through potential lakeshore hikes. Unconsciously, he picked up the song where she had left off, singing his part: "Everywhere was dark. Then a ray of light. I'm so glad it's you. Because we're together, we're shining..."
