Chara's Influence
"This is the barrier.
This is what keeps us all trapped underground.
...
If....
If by chance you have any unfinished business,
Please do what you must."
"I'm ready."
"...
... I see...
This is it then.
Are you ready?
Chara.
Daughter.
MURDERER."
"Hee hee.
There's a strange light filling the room.
Twilight is shining through the barrier.
It seems, (Y/n), that your journey is almost over.
Unlike you, I'm filled with...
DETERMINATION."
You think of Sans.
And Pap.
You think of Tori.
Of all the monsters your not gonna be able to say goodbye to.
And you look at your sister.
Frisk is staring at you, her face as blank as it ever was.
"I want to say goodbye."
"There's no one who wants to hear you. Im tired of playing around. I'm ending this soon."
You looked at her closely. "Your not Frisk."
Frisk smiled. "Your finally noticing. No, I am not Frisk. But...
She's still here. Trying to stop me. Hee hee! No. My name is Chara. Greetings sister."
You looked around at the void. Was this how it would end? "Your... not my sister. But I'll get her back."
Chara looked sideways. "Do you remember Gaster?"
You nodded. "I had a dream about him once."
"You never spoke with him directly?"
"No." You wondered why you felt like you were forgetting something. Of course you hadn't talked to him!
Chara smiled softly. "Sometimes, I wonder if it's worth it. Killing everyone. It's not like everything will stay that way. Frisk always resets. But then, I remember what you people did."
You smiled sadly at the ground. "You don't have to do this."
" I already have."
You pushed yourself of the couch, every cut and bruise yelling at you not to.
Papyrus had to be okay.
You trudged up the stairs. Then opened the door to his room. He wasn't there.
Sans wasn't in his room either.
You looked at your arm. It was bleeding through the bandage.
You went downstairs and rewrapped your feet, then your arm.
Where are the knives?
You searched through every place in the house.
Then you remembered.
Sans had hidden it.
You grabbed a random one and limped to the door.
Then you heard it.
Someone screamed.
It wasn't terror, or pain.
It was a scream of loss.
You knew you were to late.
Someone slammed into the door, and you opened it. Monster kid.
"You've gotta hide! The human-"
"I'm gonna stop her." You went to go past him, but he stopped you.
"No, it's not the human. Well, kinda. They- they killed Pap, and..." He hesitated.
"And?" You said impatiently.
"Sans- he's coming here.
He thinks you did it."
