TWO MONTHS LATER

Y/N P.O.V

"Cheif, we've gotten the test results on the bullet and it belongs to a pistol." I say to Cheif Jungguk, giving him the result paper and bullet in the bag. He examines the paper and tells me to leave him alone. I respect that and leave his office. I brush my hair with my fingers and sigh.

"What's wrong?" Chanyeol asks from behind me. I jump a little, scared. "Oh did I scare you?" I nod, putting my hand over my heart. "Are you still worried about Taeyong?" My eyes get watery. "I understand, how about we go visit him? Jungguk is having a bad day today so he needs some time alone." Chanyeol leads me to his police car.

The car ride as silent and awkward. It feels so weird to be with Assistant Cheif Chanyeol, he talk to me like we've been friends for years. "Umm so do you think Taeyong will wake up?" I break the silence with my question.

"Of course he will, I have no doubt. Taeyong is a tough guy and he'll always be. He actually used to be very stubborn and short tempered, after his wife and children died and-" I cut him off. "I'm sorry Chanyeol but you need to know something."

I tel him every detail of my past, and how I was connected to his family. Chanyeol nods, listening carefully. He waits till I'm done and then starts to speak. "I actually recognized you when you first came to the police station. I just didn't say anything." He smirks and winks at me.

"Why though?"

"Can't say."

TAEYONG P.O.V

It's been a two months since I haven't woken up. Y/N has been coming to visit and talk to me everyday. It is very pleasant to hear her voice. I want to be wake up and hug her. She seems so lonely and needs love. I love her. I can feel the water try to escape my eyes.

The door opens and I can here Y/N's voice but it sounds like she came with someone. "I wish I could visit him everyday like you do." I recognize that voice, Chanyeol. "Yeah, I am just waiting for him to wake up." Y/N says, with a bit of sadness in her voice.

"Same here, I wish he'll wake up too. He's such a great cop. Is it ok if I can talk to him?" Chanyeol asks Y/N. "Yeah, he won't be able to hear you though."

I'll be able to hear you.

"Well Taeyong *chanyeol faces Taeyong* we found out the bullet is from a pistol. The shooter shot himself right after he shot the bullet. It turned out he was drunk." Chanyeol says.

"Really? Wow that's so bad. Taeyong shouldn't have been shot...... oh god....." Y/N starts to walk out of the room. "Y/N wait! It's ok, he'll wake up."

"HOW DO YOU KNOW HE'LL WAKE UP!? How? It's been over two months and he's still here on life support. If I never came then....."

Don't say that Y/N, do not. I am so glad you entered into my life or I would've been nothing please......

"I'll leave you alone so you can calm down. Make sure to come back to the station when your down." Chanyeol leaves the room and Y/N and I are here alone together.

Y/N P.O.V

I watch Chanyeol leave the room. I look back at Taeyong and feel a single tear fall. My phone beeps and it was Yuta. I open the notification and it was a picture of him and Anna.

Yuta: We started dating! Isn't it amazing!!

Y/N: Omg it is congrats!!

"Well Yuta and Anna started dating." I say out loud to Taeyong. "I have to go now Taeyong, I'll be back tomorrow, I love you." I lean to his face and peck his forehead.
