"Katieeeee" she heard an extremely familiar voice pull her in an affectionate embrace.

Alexa!

"Oh my God, weren't you supposed to come on 24th!?" Katie asked.

"No!" Alexa laughed and explained her plan of surprising her best friend.

Katie simply smiled and hugged Alexa again. Sometimes, people underestimate the power of true friendship. But, she wasn't one of them. She appreciated, cared for and loved her best friend a lot. She had faced the fear of losing her at a very early age and maybe that increased the power of her love more.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I am starving" Lucas said as he switched on the lights, entering Katie's house through the kitchen.

"Yeah, even I am famished" Katie said.

"Let's go!"
