Conversion (4)
Satar bristled at Hibiki's words, her anger palpable. "Hibiki! Mind what you say!"
"I'm not here to argue with you today. Let's enjoy this day," Hibiki defused the tension, attempting to shift the focus back to the gathering.
But before he could leave, Satar couldn't resist one last question, her curiosity evident. "Wait, Hibiki. Why did you choose that naive human as your owner?"
Hibiki paused, contemplating Satar's question, before responding enigmatically, "Hm? Why indeed..."

ANOTHER TRUTH

JEO headquarters
Kagaro scanned the rows of men and women, each standing with military precision, their heads held high and their attention focused. "Attention unit nine. Commander Awara will be here today to address us. Let's not disappoint him with poor behavior," he announced loudly, his voice carrying authority and command. The agents responded immediately, standing at attention and nodding in unison towards Kagaro.
As if on cue, Commander Awara entered the room, his presence commanding respect. He gestured for the agents to relax, a stark contrast to their rigid posture. "Hello, kids," he greeted them warmly, his voice carrying a sense of familiarity and camaraderie. The agents shifted to a more relaxed stance, albeit still maintaining a sense of readiness.
"Good morning, Commander," Kagaro greeted him respectfully, acknowledging his superior with a salute. Awara returned the greeting with a nod before addressing the gathered agents.
"I have some news," Awara began, setting his lit cigar aside and motioning for Professor Gaieren to join him. She entered the room clad in her lab coat, her demeanor serious and focused. As she stood beside Awara, she snapped her fingers, causing black screens to materialize in front of the agents.
Gaieren wasted no time, launching into an explanation of the different types of Jenemes they were up against. The agents listened intently, their expressions shifting from curiosity to concern as she delved into the complexities of the B and A types.
"B types," Gaieren explained, "are larger and more powerful than their predecessors. They not only consume human emotions and energy but also utilize them for their own benefit. Unlike other Jeneme types, B types can maintain a human-like appearance even in their monstrous forms, using their consumed emotions and strength to enhance their abilities."
The agents' expressions darkened as they absorbed the gravity of Gaieren's words. She continued, detailing the formidable capabilities of the A types, whose intelligence and ability to create weapons from their own bodies made them a formidable threat.
Shimin, one of the agents, chewed on her lower lip in frustration, her eyes reflecting the sense of helplessness that permeated the room. Gaieren concluded her explanation, leaving the agents feeling a mixture of dread and determination.
"That's why," Awara interjected, "special training for star bearers will commence immediately. We need individuals with unique abilities to combat these threats effectively." As he finished speaking, another man entered the room, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in their battle against the Jenemes.
JENTO SAWAMURA
FORTY YEARS OLD
STAR BEARER PERSONAL TRAINER
STAR - MONO (MALE)
In the dimly lit room adorned with blue lights, the agents of Unit Nine stood at attention as their new trainer, Jento Sawamura, made his entrance. His presence commanded respect, and the agents greeted him with a combination of formality and anticipation.
"Hello agents. I am Jento Sawamura, and I'll be your trainer starting today," Jento announced, his voice carrying an air of authority tempered with warmth. Riyu Kagaro, the unit captain, stepped forward to greet him, offering a respectful bow before introducing himself.
"Hello sir. I am the unit captain, Riyu Kagaro," Kagaro stated, his posture reflecting his readiness to collaborate with their new mentor. Jento acknowledged Kagaro's greeting with a nod, gesturing for him to stand back up before diving into his inquiries.
"How many star bearers do we have in this unit?" Jento inquired, his gaze sweeping over the assembled agents, searching for insights into their unique composition.
"This is the only unit with star bearers," Kagaro responded, providing Jento with a crucial piece of information about the team's capabilities.
"Then... less than ten..?" Jento probed further, seeking clarification on the number of star bearers under his tutelage.
"Yes," Kagaro confirmed, his tone indicating a sense of certainty about the unit's makeup.
"How many?" Jento pressed on, his curiosity piqued by the revelation of their specialized assets.
"Five," Kagaro revealed, offering Jento a precise count of the star bearers within their ranks.
"Oh? That's easy to handle. Other than the star bearers, everyone else can assemble in front of the main hall for weapon training with Commander Awara," Jento directed, swiftly outlining the next steps for the agents under his command. With that, the lines dispersed, following Commander Awara out of the room and leaving Jento to focus on the star bearers.
Turning his attention back to Kagaro, Jento continued his inquiries, seeking to learn more about the agents and their unique bonds with their star spirits.
"Riyu Kagaro. You look pretty young. How old are you?" Jento asked, his tone casual yet inquisitive, as he sought to understand the diverse backgrounds of his trainees.
"Fourteen," Kagaro replied confidently, offering a glimpse into his youthful yet determined demeanor.
"Fourteen, you say? Introduce the ages of other star bearers standing here," Jento commanded, prompting Kagaro to provide additional insights into the ages of their fellow agents.
Kagaro complied, offering a brief overview of each agent's age and their respective star spirits, providing Jento with valuable context for their training.
As each agent stepped forward to introduce themselves and their stars, Jento listened attentively, absorbing the details of their unique partnerships and the strengths they brought to the team.
When Yone Ken spoke of his star, Satar, Jento couldn't help but shudder at the description of her unpredictable nature, her flirty demeanor, and the challenges Yone faced in maintaining control over her.
Jenna Ornard, on the other hand, spoke eloquently about her star, Hibiki, detailing his role as a messenger of the gods and his transformation into various swords from around the world. Her confidence and ease in discussing her bond with Hibiki left Jento impressed and intrigued.
Jento's appearance had everyone on edge. His robotic metallic red eye beamed under the blue light of the room. His robotic arms squeaked slightly as he moved. The agents gulped nervously as they looked at him. Yone and Jenna glanced at each other before looking back at the man. He then clapped his metal hands together.
As the other agents departed, leaving only Yone and Jenna in the room, Jento seized the opportunity to delve deeper into their relationships with their star spirits.
Meanwhile, Kagaro, Momoko, and Shimin began their stretching routine in the adjacent room, preparing for the training session ahead.
Back in the training room, Jento engaged Yone and Jenna in conversation, seeking to understand the secrets behind their strong connections with their stars.
"We just talk a lot," Yone replied cryptically, his tone hinting at the complexity of his relationship with Satar.
Jenna, however, offered a more detailed explanation, describing her daily interactions with Hibiki and the gradual development of their bond over time.
Impressed by their dedication and the depth of their connections with their star spirits, Jento commented on the power of their relationships, recognizing them as a crucial asset in their fight against the Jeneme threat.
As the conversation continued, Yone summoned Satar in her transformed state, showcasing her formidable abilities and the challenges Yone faced in maintaining control over her.
Jenna, too, demonstrated Hibiki's powers, revealing his adaptability and versatility in various situations, further solidifying their status as invaluable members of the team.
With each revelation, Jento gained a deeper understanding of the agents under his command and the unique strengths they brought to the table. As he prepared to begin their training in earnest, he felt a renewed sense of determination and purpose, knowing that together, they stood ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
