The next time I woke up I felt something tapping against my cheek. I open my eyes and see Tait standing over me with one of her younger siblings' toys.

"Are you hungry?" She asks looking down at me.

"Uh, yeah sure. Is anyone making anything special?" I say closing my eyes and rolling on my back and putting my arm over my eyes.

"No, my mom is just making some pancakes. Do you want some?" She asks and I hear her sit down.

"It's okay. Do you have cereal?" I ask and remove my arm from over my eyes and squint over at her.

"Yeah, I think so. I think we should have your favorite chocolate ones," She says and I can see her grinning.

"Great I'll be down in a minute I just need to change" I say and sit up. I feel a bit woozy and see black spots are taking over my vision so I close my eyes and breathe deeply through my nose. I open my eyes and see that Tait is gone so I carefully stand up and get my clothes. As I put my pants on I can feel something is tucked inside my pocket. I put my hand in it and see a note.

I finished putting my clothes on and tucked the piece of paper in the front pocket of jeans.

As I walk down the stairs I can feel the scent of Liz's pancakes.

"Wow Liz, it smells amazing," I say before rounding the corner to the kitchen. The first thing I see as I step inside their kitchen is of course Luke sitting on a bar stool across from Tait by their kitchen island smiling shyly at me. I also see that Liz actually isn't in the kitchen but it's only the pancakes sitting on the counter. I walk over to the kitchen island and sit down on the bar stool next to Tait after I have taken a bowl and a spoon. I see my favorite type of cereal sitting on the island so I reach for it and pour it inside my bowl and then add milk. I can still feel his eyes on me so I look up at him and raise my eyebrow as if asking what he wants. I take a spoonful of cereal and eat still holding eye contact with Luke. After many awkward moments later I break the eye contact and focus on finishing my breakfast. Most people would say I am too at home at their house but it's just since I've known then since I was almost 4, I've come to feel like a family member.

"So what do you feel like doing today, Clem?" I hear Tait say so I look up at her and shrug. I finish chewing my cereal and answer "I need to be home before dinner since mom and dad wanted to talk to me.

"Why did you leave?" She asks with curiosity in her eyes.

"I'll tell you later while we're cleaning up from last night" I say and shrug.

"Well we better start cleaning up in my room soon, I'll let you finish your cereal. I'll be upstairs getting a head start on it" she says walking towards the stairs.

I finish my cereal and rinse it out as I hear someone talking to me.

"What?" I ask and turn around to see that Luke standing there.

"Uhm, Did you get my note?" He asked and started blushing deep red as if he was contemplating as if he really should've left the note.

"Yeah, I did too" I say and start to walk out of the kitchen but hear his voice again "Maybe another time we could do it again?" he asks hesitantly still blushing.

"Sure, I would like that" I say with a smile and walk out of the kitchen but remember something.

"Are we good?" I ask knowing the conversation earlier about doing it again sometime.

"Yeah, absolutely great" He says and puts his arm over my shoulder and led me up to Tait's room so we can help her clean up the mess we did last night. When we get up to her room we can see that she has taken down the blanket fort and folded the blankets so they are laying on her bed. She has also taken the vacuum cleaner out and the first thing she says as we step inside her room is "I'm almost done so you Clem get to vacuum and Luke you put these in the cabinet where we usually keep them and gestures to the blankets.

"When you are done with that come back here and maybe I will have something else for you to do". I plug the vacuum cleaner in the closest outlet and start vacuuming the floor just as I drag it a bit in front of Luke he decides it's good to go there, so of course he trips over it and the blankets fall all over the floor.

"Sorry, but you should watch your step" I say chuckling.

"At least help me up since it's your fault I'm down here" He says putting his hand up. I turn the vacuum cleaner off and stretch my hand out for him. As if I would've expected he pulls me down to the floor.

"How is it that we always en up in this situation" I ask chuckling lightly looking at his face.

"I am the one that should ask why the both of you are so clumsy. I mean it's impossible to fall over that many times that you two do in a day" I hear Tait in the background; I guess she was on her bed. I almost forgot she still was in here.

"Yeah, I guess we must have some kind ofsickness. Wonder what it is? Maybe you should help us figure it out," Lukesays. I get up from the floor and resume to vacuuming and kick at Luke to getup so we could get this over with. He comes back not more than 5 minutes laterdone with putting the blankets back so Tait give him another task which isreturning the snacks bowls downstairs. As he comes back after another 5 minutesjust as I finish up vacuuming, I look at the clock and sees that it's only abit after 1pm. We ended up playing Mario cart until it was time for me to gohome. I told both Tait and Luke goodbye and left for home.
