I stood still for a couple minutes just maybe overthinking it a little too much. So what if he liked my shirt, I bet that he probably has the same one. I really needed to get a grip of myself and stop acting like this. I walked down the stairs and looked at the clock, seeing as it was almost 10pm I decided that it might be time for me to go home so I looked for Tait and when I found her with her head in the fridge I coughed out a laugh to get her attention and from the fact that she always had something to snack on it wasn't a surprise she already was looking through the fridge.

"I think I'm going to head home since it's so late and don't want to wake your family" I say and rest my shoulder against the doorframe.

"Awh, I was thinking that we could have a sleepover and have a movie marathon," She says pouting.

"I don't think that's such a good idea today, with me leaving my parents in such a rush earlier I think they will want to talk to me when I get home-" I start and Tait interrupts me "But you can talk tomorrow and either way they will probably be asleep as well" so I continue "and besides I don't have any clean clothes with me".

"You can borrow some clothes from me, it can be like when we were little. We can watch some nostalgic movies we can even ask Luke to join to make it even more nostalgic-" If she only knew what I thought and how I felt for him. Ugh, this is so much more complicated now why can't we just be kids who don't know a thing about feelings and crap. "And then we can build a blanket fort and sleep in there. Pretty please it would be so fun" she said looking at me with the puppy face that she knew I couldn't say no to.

"Fine, I guess I can call mom and tell her that we are having a nostalgic sleepover and she probably will be okay with it" I said taking my phone out of my back pocket and opening my contacts app. I clocked on moms icon and it instantly started ringing to I put it to my ear.

"Hi baby, are you coming home? Your father and I would like to speak to you when you get home" she answered.

"Actually, Tait and I were thinking of having a sleepover, so we were going to watch some childhood movies and build a blanket fort and stuff. Would you mind if we talk tomorrow?" I asked holding my breath.

"Yes. Absolutely. Just make sure to be home before dinner tomorrow. So we can talk" She says.

"Yeah, sure. Night mom. Love you" I say and hang up.

I walk into the kitchen and over to Tait.

"So it looks like I am staying for a sleepover," I say with a grin.

She looks up at me with a smile stretching its way onto her lips.

"Really? This is going to be so much fun" She says full on beaming at me.

Tait decided that I was on movie duty so she sent me over to their movie CD stand thingy mijiggy to pick out the best childhood and nostalgic movies. I hunched down and looked through all the different movies in the end I ended up with three different in case we felt like staying up till the am. I chose a Disney movie, a Christmas movie; because who doesn't love a good Christmas movie even if it isn't Christmas time, I do; and lastly a romance. It wasn't a childhood one it was just one that I wanted to see. So the movies I decided on was snow white, How the Grinch stole Christmas and The Notebook.

"We're watching the notebook? I'm so proud of you that you finally have decided to watch it" was the first thing she said as she stepped inside their living room.

"How are the snacks coming along?" I ask when I see that she has come empty handed.

"I am currently popping some popcorn and there is a bowl with potato chips in the kitchen as well" she said as a matter of fact.

"So you think you can leave a bowl with potato chips alone in the kitchen only two minutes without anyone taking them?" I asked and was referring to that one time she had done the same thing and Luke had gotten his hands on them and eaten almost half of the bowl.

"Shit, I forgot" She swore and ran fast as lightning in to the kitchen, I followed after her into the kitchen and before I even got in there I could hear her cursing at Luke so I just leaned against the doorframe and watched her have a silent war with her twin brother as she stared daggers into him and cursed quietly.

"Told you" was all I said and took a seat on a bar stool by the kitchen island. Resting my head in my hands I turned my head towards the stove and was surprised to see that Tait had been attempting to make popcorn in quite the difficult and unusual way instead of just popping a bag in the microwave and be done after three or four minutes she decided to do the one that takes almost half an hour.

"Were you trying to do it the 'old fashioned' way?" I asked putting quotations on old-fashioned way and pointing towards the stove.

"Oh, yeah. That didn't really work out. I think I should stick to the ones that you do in the microwave," she said chuckling lightly and fiddling with her fingers.

"Why don't you clean up from your attempt and I'll put the bag in the microwave so we can get this on with" I said and took out the packet that contained the bags with the pop-able popcorn in them. I put them in the microwave and put the timer on four minutes then started to help Tait with cleaning up from her attempt of making popcorn.

When three minutes had passed I heard that the popcorn stopped popping so frequently so I pressed the stop button and opened the microwave and took out the bag of popcorn. I sat it on the counter and asked Tait to hand me a bowl. I shook the bag to get the popcorn to release from the sides of the bag and as I opened it a hot steam of air bursts out from it, so I dumped its contents inside of the bowl asked for the salt after I had tasted a popcorn and decided that they needed salt even though they already were full of butter.

I took the bowl of popcorn and said to Tait "You take the chips bowl since you prefer that". I also had two of the movies in my hand and Tait had the first movie that we were going to watch.

She grabbed her laptop and fixed with the movie while I grabbed all the blankets I could find so we could make a blanket fort that we could both sleep in and watch the movie inside. I decided that it would be better if we did it before we started the movies since we probably would end up falling asleep during one of the movies.

And that's exactly what we did after we finished building the fort Tait sent me to ask Luke if he wanted to join and he did. When I got back to Tait's room I changed into one of her pajamas and got in to the fort.

Taitfell asleep during the first half an hour of watching the movie and I fellasleep about half an hour after she did. When I woke up the following morningthey were both still passed out so I decided that I could sleep a bit moremyself so I fell back asleep. But before I fully fell asleep I felt Luke's armwrap around me from behind.
