Waves and Storms
Don't really do songs for the chapter but this song just gives me life.
Her sleep was restless that night, Simeon slept close to her. The bond twisting and telling her to touch him but this time she was trying to ignore it.
The bond gave her false illusions and until she became immune to them she wouldn't touch him. It was a temptation she found unbearably hard. The heat of his back warmed her skin as she twisted to and throw in her need for sleep.
The only time she managed to get a short respite of sleep she was awoken by the man beside her. Her body rolling as her eyes flickered open to stare up at the top of Simeon's head. His light blonde locks shining in the pale moonlight. His chest was bare but from the tuffs of hair that scraped against her perky skin. His hips swayed into her body but his eyes remained closed, arms clenched around her bringing her closer still.
His legs were intertwined with her body as they both lay side by side, face to face, heart to heart. Her soft hands stroked along his slick skin before subtly shaking him awake. His eyes shot open, his mouth tilting in a sly smile. Sleep shook from his eyes as he rolled onto his back, taking Jana with him until she lay on top of him.
"Simeon" she gasped as he clasped her behind, body rising even as her mind rebelled against her, "I thought you said we wouldn't mate" heart hopeful even when he had already rejected her.
Teeth flashed as he showed his displeasure, "I lied" he growled, there was no denying this nature of his. No matter what promise he made there was no way he could follow through, not when every cell in his body hummed and buzzed in her proximity. The constant demand to mate Jana was a battle he could never win but he had tried.
His lips grazed across her soft cheek, trailing along her chin until he reached her mouth. Breath slipped from her mouth into his, their lips close but not close enough. A gap separated them, a barrier that hadn't quite been crossed.
They could stop now, it would be hard but they could. Until the moment Jana's taste invaded his mouth it wouldn't be over. He knew it. As his almost black eyes stared into Jana's soul he made a decision. One that he would live with, the only one he could live with.
His hand wrapped around her braid and yanked her head towards him, closing that small distance between them and shattering that invisible barrier. He swallowed her gasp as he invaded her mouth and mind. Jana was filled with the taste and scent of him. That earthy scent called to her like a sirens call. His name slipping from her mouth like a prayer before reality shook her up.
Bodies rotating, he forced her onto her back, flattening her beneath him and pushing her hands above her head. His top half off her skin but their lower halves joint so tightly together. Slow rocking and soft kissing, cold lips on warm skin melting into tongues, rolling and sucking. His lips devouring hers as his tongue plundered deep, making his mark on every inch of her body. He moved from the top of her body to the bottom and back up taking her clothes and her sanity with each touch.
"What if I don't, mmm," she gasped head tilting as her thighs clenched around his body, clinging to him pulling him closer, "what if I don't want this?" Stammering as a hand slipped from above her head and clenched into his mane of locks, dragging him closer to her yearning body. His tongue clenched around her nipple, suckling and tugging at the nub until she felt her body rising.
"You do Jana, trust me," he whispered into her skin as his black met her brown, his eyes the window to the soul that the bond urged her to connect with. "You do" he whispered as his hands travelled low and delved into places that hadn't been touched in years.
They were moving fast, so fast but it was hard to fight this bond. She wasn't as strong as Neemah, she needed the acceptance that only a mate could bring. Simeon was giving her all that she needed and she was woman enough to accept it. she was a woman after all and she deserved to feel loved even if it would only be in the height of passion.
She would not regret this moment, not when her endorphins were riding higher and higher into another plane at the sight of Simeon fully bared to her. No man had ever compared to him, none. His physique was something that shattered her equilibrium and crushed any doubts to dust. There were no thoughts of her deceased husband or how wrong this could end, only Simeon and how fast he needed to be within her body and within her soul.
She knew this was wrong he had played with her emotions from the start but she was weak. She spoke a hard game but under his touch she wilted, she couldn't take the heat. His touch almost blinded out his words but she fought it, if she was giving her body to him she was doing it for gratification. She couldn't let the bond win her over not this time. Not when come the morning he would spew more words that would burn her.
Her heart would remain out of this even though it beat in sync to his call. She would answer to this need that they both felt but it would be the meeting of bodies and not hearts.
She let him drink his fill of her. Her skin tingling as his face edged down her body, tongue dipping into her belly button before heading lower.
His tongue flickered as his fingers plundered and her body shook, rising like a wave. Climbing and climbing until it all tumbled back down into the calm of the ocean only to be roused to a rise again this time larger, hasher, harder. It was deeper than any she had felt, her body clenching even as Simeon made his way into her. Her nails scored along his skin, head tilted back as she rode the waves as he rode her.
His head buried deep into her shoulder before his teeth followed through and dug into her neck, drawing red and causing another earth crashing orgasm to fly through her body. Her mind a haze as sound and sight fell way from her. Her body gripped him like a tight vice making it nearly impossible for him to move but he did. His body withdrawing from hers as he spilled his seed onto her stomach, his fingers rubbing his essence into her skin making sure his scent seeped into her pores.
Flipping her over to her stomach he ground his body against her making sure that his scent would linger on her. Even if she washed it off the next day the pack would know she was his as she made her way from his tent to the pool. They would know that he claimed her, she was his now. His nature won out, it always would but Simeon held no regrets. This was a battle he was never going to win, how could he when the scent of her always got a rise from him. Always.
Falling along her back he licked at her freshly marked neck, forcing his claim to stick to her body. The scar would be raw for days and as an Alpha he would only feel the urge to reinstate every few days until he felt that his claim would go unchallenged.
The throbbing on her neck was what first broke her mind out of the fog. The mark burned and sizzled along her skin, the scar not settling with the unfinished claim.
Anger like nothing she had felt before flowed through her body, crashing through her like a viscous wave. How could he? Not only had he marked her against his word and without her permission but he hadn't even finished the claim. There were no bounds to his selfishness.
No wolf had ever marked a mate and failed to finish the claim, it was unheard of but Simeon had taken from her body without giving back. Not only was she angry but so was the bond, he had made its beauty perverse. Taken the ritual of two souls joining to make life and turned it into a pissing contest.
A place where he could show that she was his but fail to follow through with the bonds needs. To a degree he had kept his word. There would be no children and the bond flailed in anger for his choice. The fury fuelled her anger, until she was uncontrollable ball of outrage.
How could he?
"Jana, I--", he murmured eyes squinting against the full force of her anger that crashed through the bond. "Don't" she growled voice sharp like ice.
"I said DON'T" she thundered voice cresting like the top of the wave before it crashes back down in a ferocious sweep.
Her chest visibly heaved with her anger, eyes narrowed as she looked at the male before her with nothing but repulsion. No words that fell from his mouth would ever be good enough to save this gulf that he had wedged in the bond.
"I tolerated your words even when the bond screamed for me to fight, I didn't." Her eyes clenched tight, her fists balled by her side as she spat her words of fire.
"I accepted your decision knowing I would never have children with who nature intended for me." Her eyes flew open as she stared him down, teeth snarling with her missing wolf canines. Body posturing against him as if she were an animal that could follow through on her bodies threat.
"I even allowed you to take from my body knowing that those choices would not change." Head shaking she climbed to her feet, ripping her clothes from his side and forcing them on. Covering her body from his prying eyes.
"But that was not enough. You take where you are not permitted, Simeon. The bond was not yours to take if you would not finish the claim. How could you!" Venom dripping from her voice as her eyes related her betrayal.
Her pain drowned out all his thoughts, all he could feel was her hurt and her derision. She had no respect for him, any she had left after their talk had withered away in the storm of his lies, his selfishness.
"Jana please try to understand, I couldn't give you children."
How could he finish the claim when any future they attempted to create would not be secure in the life he chose. They needed security and this camp was not it. He refused to impregnate her and because of that the mark would fade quicker.
The bond wouldn't be complete until his seed lay in her womb and he knew that. His nature demanded that he claim her in the purest way, in the way nature demanded it but he refused. This was a battle he could not loose, not when it came to the safety of his mate and future pup.
"And I understood that Simeon but how could you be so cruel as to impose this half life on me! What kind of man are you?" He was nothing like Jeremy.
"Jana, I--" he stammered lost for words as he tried to console her. "Don't!" She screeched voice clashing against the viscous thunder of the coming storm.
"You have nothing worth saying. You are selfish Simeon and I rue the day the gods thought you were my male." Climbing to her feet she stormed from the tent, feet squelching against the wet grass as the rain bore down on her skin.
The heat of her body combatted the cool water that pelted across her. The gods cried for her. Open skies torrent down with their tears as they looked at the desecration of the bond they had created with the most care. It was abnormal, a violation to the will of nature and Mother Nature showed her displeasure. The wind howled as it shook the weak frame of the tents, rattling and rocking.
Lightening flickered in the sky, bolts streaking across the dark canopy as the gods thundered their anger. Jana sat in the cabin where everything had been so right and wrong between her and Simeon until the rain had eased. The water washing away the grime of the night and promising a new day.
Her bare feet slapped against the wet earth as she made her way back into the tent, the red hue of the sun beginning its peak through the dark sky.
Stripping off her clothes and wiping her feet, she threw on some dry ones and took her place by Simeon's side. She knew he was awake, she could hear it in the way his heart stuttered at her presence but she didn't care. She needed sleep so tonight she'd sleep by his side but tomorrow was a knew day. She would find her own bed and let him sleep in the one he had made.
//--//
The squealing of a child gurgling jarred Jana awake, the sound was close to their tent. The light footsteps of approaching feet were heard as the incessant chanting continued as they got closer. Wiping the sleep from her face she sat up to gather her bearings, pulling the blanket to ward off the chill of the morning air.
Mellow light shone through her tent telling her it was early, way too early to be wake. It was a few hours past dawn and the camp sounded quiet except for the giggles of the excited child. The noise had no affect on Simeon as he continued to sleep on. The lower half of his body was covered by the end of the blanket as he lay on his side, his hand thrown over his face. The early morning sun glistened on his chest reminding her of the sex they had the night before and the awful way it ended.
Her eyes burned with the lack of sleep but the child's chortling noise was something she couldn't overlook. It was loud and on a day when she'd had more sleep she would even say it was cute.
Looking down at Simeon she took in all his glory, he was a beautiful man in the rugged and beaten kind of way. His body was scattered in scars, the one along his heart was the worst. His bodies scars where a reflection of his insides because only a man tormented by his past could behave the way he did. His future was revenge, there was no space for anything else in his life and Jana knew that now.
The flaps of the tent pushing open caused her to jerk away from the sharp light, a blonde haired girl with green eyes ran into the room, her small form followed by a tall brown haired woman with identical eyes.
"Tata" laughed the little girl excitedly as she dismissed Jana's presence completely and threw herself across Simeon's half naked body.
His eyes flickered open as he stared at the little girl in his arms with such love, "Zosia, Mój zajączek" he murmured as he hugged the little girl. Her eyes lit up as she giggled some more
"Calusy, Tata" she sung peppering his face in kisses as Jana stood by in abject horror.
-----------
Mój zajączek = My little bunny
Calusy = Kisses
