*Alex's POV*

It has been a few months since Casper found out that she was pregnant. I was overjoyed to be a father of a child of the girl I love. She is so special to me and I couldn't wait to meet my child. She had gone to bed a little while ago, and I was outside smoking. When I came back inside, I said goodnight to the guys and then went to mine and Casper's room. I went to go crawl in bed next to her. I placed my hand on her stomach and cooed quietly as not to wake up Casper.

"Hi baby. Daddy wants you to know that he loves you very much and he can't wait to meet you. Wait until you meet your mom. You're gonna love her almost as much as I do because I love her alot. She is beautiful. She has pretty red hair just like daddy's hair. She has pretty tattoos, and her skin is beautiful. She glows with life and love for the both of us. I love you baby. Sweet dreams."

I bent down and kissed her stomach gently, and then laid my head down on the pillow. I situated her to where her head was laying on my chest and I tangled our legs together. I guess I might have accidentally woken her up, because she wrapped her arms around me and spoke in a raspy voice.

"Thank you for the compliments. I love you."

I smiled and kissed her head.

"You're welcome. I love you too sweetheart."

I fell asleep feeling the baby kicking, and the rising and falling of her chest.

The next morning, after the sickness passed, Casper walked to the kitchen. She grabbed some dry cereal and started to nibble on it slowly. I sat on the couch next to her. 

"Are you ok my love?"

"Something is bothering me but I can't figure out what it is."

"It's ok love. I hope that you can figure it out and when you do I will be here to help you solve that."

I rubbed her belly softly and kissed her cheek while she ate. There was a loud knock on the front door, and I got up carefully so I could open the door. When I opened it, standing on the doorstep was a strange man. I had no idea who he was. I got startled when he spoke.

"Um. Is Casper here?"

"Who are you?"

"I'm her father."

I turned around and looked at Casper.

"Who is it Alex?"

I motioned her over to me, and whispered who it was in her ear. She looked really shocked and she looked at her father in the eyes. His eyes went from hers, to my hand around her waist, to the ring on her finger, and to her showing baby bump. He looked at her questioningly and had tears in his eyes.

"Hey kid. You've grown up. Who is this gentleman?"

"This is my husband Alex."

"How many months are you?"

"I am 4 months. What are you doing here?"

"I came here to see how you were. I heard that mom died and I wanted to see how you were doing. But I see that you're doing perfectly fine. I'm happy for you. I love you and I will see you around."

He gave her a kiss on the cheek, and walked off the porch. He got into a car, leaving Casper speechless. I closed the door and turned around to hug her tightly.  I loved her and I don't think that she needed to see her dad. He was the root of all her problems. He had caused her to start cutting and attempt suicide. She didn't need that in her life. I hugged her, and didn't let her go. I couldn't lose her to him again.
