"Now, where could be a place to collect materials?" Hyunjin tapped his chin, still not letting go of the petrified boy. He turned around isolated streets, looking in each building which had already been raided of.

Jisung held on dearly to his friend, not wanting to let go. Without their leader, he felt unsafe, even with Hyunjin, his friend he held onto. Whistles escaped from the elder's mouth, attempting to light up the mood in the barren, ransacked land around them. They had passed building with smashed windows, and shattered ceiling lights that hung onto the roof. The wind swept silently across the ground, picking up the specks of dust along with it.

Jisung had examined the grounds, some familiar items that he had associated with in the group that were left abandoned on the grounds. One by one, he picked each precious item up, handing them to the blonde haired next to him.

As they scanned their surroundings, Hyunjin's eyes glinted, suddenly pulling the little Jisung to the sight that he had seen. As the building slowly started to stand out in Jisung's view, Hyunjin dragged the little boy into the building.

As their curious eyes ran around the rooms, the smell of wood had created an excited figure grow in Hyunjin, as he started to immediately sniff aggressively at the new smell that they had not smelt in a long time. They looked more closely into the room, as red machines, green figures and a beige scene had filled their eyes pleasantly.

Jisung's eyes light up as the wood that was seen as a precious material was laid under his fingers. He looked excitedly over at Hyunjin, who had gave the same excited glance at Jisung. Hyunjin had already hauled the wood into his arms, looking at the machines to see if they were useful and portable.

Jisung had wandered around the building, nearly forgetting his job on collecting resources. Being to immersed into the accessibility the Leno's had to resources. In the group they were living in, they had to keep moving places in order to stay hidden. Buildings were not being taken care of. Rotting food left abandoned.

And there were the Lenos. Where they could actually be able to decorate the woodwork building with some miniature decorative wooden green trees around.

Picking them up one by one, Jisung had discovered a glass door, which revealed another room. Excitedly calling over his best friend, they both peered into the room, eyeing the precious wood that could be used to make a good enough shelter somewhere deserted once they left.

Slowly taking each piece, he called back to Hyunjin, but no sound was responded back to Jisung.

As he walked backwards out of the room, he was about to scream out to Hyunjin, before his mouth was covered by a big hand.

Recognising the face that came in front of him, he internally sighed, while scolding himself that he should've recognised Hyunjin's large hand.

But the internal calmness didn't last for long. A finger was brought to Hyunjin's mouth, indicating for Jisung to be silent.

Jisung couldn't hear it at first. The only thing that was audible to his ears was the heart beating of both of the males. Then he heard it.

The constant shouting. It didn't mean much to Jisung either way, he imagined it to be far away. But it got louder.

He felt the hands of Hyunjin around his shoulders, before pressure was pushed, and Jisung stumbled back, suddenly feeling the cold ground on his hands.

As if it was played in slow motion, he watched the gap of the glass door start to narrow slowly, and the only thing that rang in his ears was the shouting. The scent of wood had tickled his nose more than ever, but he wasn't grateful for it.

Before the gap closed he heard Hyunjin's more than ever calming voice reached his ears.

"They're coming. They're coming this way to find us, Hide somewhere. Anywhere around in this room. Don't worry about me Jisung, I'll be fine."

The silent noise of the glass hitting the edge of the wall rang louder to Jisung's ears, before his instinct was to rise, and scratch helplessly to the glass door, watching as the other gave a sad smile to him.

The shouts started to rise in his ears, before he looked around the room frantically for somewhere to hide. As he looked back to Hyunjin, the last glimpse of him that he could see was his blonde hair, before the main door was kicked down, followed by a bang.

As he looked to the corner, he scrambled there, knowing there was no other better place. He shuffled a slim wooden board in its place, before covering the light that was the focus in his eyes with the board.

As the action was made, the world around him muffled out. The shouts were rising in level, but he couldn't hear a word they were saying.

And then there came the familiar voice. Unlike the other ones, he could hear this perfectly.

"Y-yeah I'm not intending anything bad, alright? I'm just trying to survive, like the rest of us, right?"

Jisung immediately knew that was the wrong thing to say. He ruckus outside of the room grew more intense. He flinched at any noise that rose above his liking. Then suddenly came silence.

It was something Jisung never knew he longed, but he would also hate at the same time. As the silence rang out for longer, he was sure that there was absolutely not a human soul, or a Leno soul around him.

Being the usual scared boy he was, he bursted into tears. He didn't know what it was, but nothing would stop it. He constantly tried to remind himself that there could be other people around, but it seemed like he couldn't control himself at all.

Everything was about surviving. Just him and his group. He couldn't have survived long without them. Without Hyunjin. But thinking about it through once again, he would still survive anyway.

Being wiped wouldn't kill someone. If your memories are taken away, it won't kill you.

You will still survive. In this case, using the word 'survive' isn't the right term. It's a way to stay sane. A way to try and not suffer. Because being a wiped, will not kill you, but will make you suffer until the day you die.

No one knew how it came into the world. It just came. It changed a lot of the population. They only know that people has changed, and there was never a case that they turned back. Now the world's only goal is to survive. I mean, their goal is to stay themselves.
