Chapter 80 - Life Changing Question

Error's POV

Ink walked into the room with a small smile. He sat next to me and snuggled into my arms. I thought about yesterday. I illegally killed several people to save Ink. I would do it again.

I kissed Ink as I gently rubbed his stomach. It made me happy, knowing that he was the mother of my unborn child.

Me: Wanna go to the park, Inky?

Ink: Sure.

There were big plans that I had for today.

(Time Skip)

The sun was raising, greeting the small town that we live in. The pink sky was beautiful but, my eyes were on someone else. I couldn't help but stare at Ink. He was so invested in his drawing that he didn't notice me. A layer of rainbow blush was plastered on his face. The same rainbow of multiple colors I fell in love with.

'I honestly don't know what I did to deserve you, Ink. You're too good for this world.'

Finally, he looked up and saw me staring at him. His rainbow blush became a more solid shade.

Ink: What is it, Ruru?

Me: Nothing. Just admiring you.

I turned towards him. My soul started beating faster as my hand tightened in my pocket.

Me: Ink, our life has been rough recently. Also, since we have the knowledge of our child's existence, I feel that now is the best time to ask you this.

Ink positioned himself to face me better.

Me: The first day I saw you, I fell in love with you instantly. You made me feel so alive that I couldn't understand it. You made my soul beat faster than anyone else's. I became a love sick puppy. You're were on my mind everyday.

I pulled out a small box. Opening the box, I presented Ink with a white-gold ring decorated with a small ruby.

Me: Ink, will you become my wife and willingly change your name from Comyet to Queen? Will you marry me?

Ink jumped into my arms and kissed me.

Ink: Yes, I will!

As soon as Ink agreed to be my wife, I felt complete inside. I found the thing I was missing in my life. He filled the empty space in my soul.

I deeply kissed Ink as I slipped the ring onto his finger. Before the kiss got too heated, we let go. I stared into Ink's mismatched eyes. His always changing beautiful eye lights. I could stare into them forever, embraced by Ink's warm love and mesmerizing voice.

I held my fiancé close to my chest. We both watched the trees dance happily in the breeze. Birds sang their song proudly into the pink sky. The raising sun began to plant its warm kisses on the mountain tops. The water sparkled and shimmered, reflecting the rays of light of the bright ball of fire.

Ink pulled his sketchbook onto his lap and continued his intricate masterpiece. The lines forming together to create a realistic black and white drawing. The movement of his tattooed hand hypnotized me. My eyes also locked onto the engagement ring worn upon his finger. The sign that he was betrothed to me. Ink's brown scarf covered his neck and shoulders, keeping him warm. Wrapping my jacket around him, I kept his body temperature at a steady point.

Me: Inky.

Ink: Yes Ruru?

Me: Do you want to eat? After you're done with your drawing of course.

Ink: Sounds like a plan.

Ink's rainbow blush appeared once more and I couldn't help but stare. I loved it.

(Time Skip)

Ink and I sat in a private room at the Melted Rose. It was officially our favorite place. Calm jazz played in the background as I watched Ink take bites of a strawberry. He offered me one and I graciously accepted it. My eyes looked at the ink stain on his cheek. It was fascinating to me. It was of unknown origins but I still loved it nonetheless.

Ink reached over the table and booped my nose bridge. A small giggle escaped him as I gave him playful look.

In this room, time seemed to stop in its tracks. The walls became the world itself. I was ruler of this world and Ink was my queen. Outside of these borders, was the endless void that shallowed everything. We laughed together and worshiped each other's passion as well as love.

I love you
My Queen

A Quick Discussion

Ink and Error are finally engaged. I've been waiting for this moment for so long.

I used a lot of imagery in this chapter. I hope you liked it.

It's funny really, how a person can find that one room could be their castle or their world. They live there along with their spouse. It's fascinating, how mysterious but strong love can be.

By the way, if I ever rhyme in this story, you have every right to shoot me. I cringe when I see myself rhyme.

Love ya...

Bye
