Chapter 56 - Trust Each Other - (Short Chapter)
Error's POV
Ink groaned as he pushed himself off the bed. He looked uncomfortable.
Me: Are you okay?
Ink: I'm nauseated and sleepy at the same time... I'll be right back.
He said as he went to the bathroom. I heard his sickness kick in. He came out while wiping his mouth. I opened my arms for him to cuddle into. As we embraced each other, I thought of ways to help make Ink's pregnancy a little more comfortable.
Me: How about we go on a walk.
Ink: Why?
Me: You need exercise so the baby can be healthy.
Ink: I'm only five weeks along.
Me: I know but it never hurts to start. Don't worry, I'll be by your side the entire time. I know that this is going to be really hard for you.
He smiled.
Ink: Thanks Ruru.

We walked through the park with our fingers intertwined. Ink admired the falling leaves as we traversed on the trail.
Ink: Are you scared?
Me: About what?
Ink: About becoming a father. I'm terrified.
Me: I'm a little scared.
Ink: What if I'm a bad mother?
Me: Hey.
I forced us to stop and wrapped my arms around his waist.
Me: Don't think like that, Inky. You'll be a fantastic mom. Now let's continue because I love walking with you.
A smile grew on his face. He held onto my arm and leaned against my shoulder. I chuckled at his adorableness.
After we spent a few minutes exploring the park, we went to our secret spot. The grass was becoming rough so I laid my jacket under Ink.
Ink: What do you want to do today?
Me: I was planning on watching Christmas movies with you since no one is home today. Just relaxing.
Ink: I have one more question.
Me: Shoot.
Ink: When I touched your wrist, why did you flinch?
Well, I didn't expect him to ask that. Might as well, I have to tell him eventually.
Me: My father abused me. My wrists are what trigger my PTSD and hapephobia the most.
He stayed silent for a second.
Ink: Raising a child together requires trust, doesn't it?
Me: Yeah.
Ink: Give me your hand.
I got a little nervous as he moved himself to be positioned in front of me. Reaching out, he gently took my hand to rest in his.
Ink: If you let me touch this spot, then I'll know that we are in this together. I'll tell about my life before I go through with this.

Me: Wow. I hope he died.
He shook his head.
Ink: He hasn't died but he was arrested. Going to jail for sexual harassment towards a minor, all that fun stuff.
After he told me his life story, I realized that we weren't that different. Although, mine was more violent.
Ink: Are you ready?
Me: Yeah.
His hand lifted and slowly brushed my wrist. He was gentle, like a mother. I expected my disorders to trigger but, they never came. I wasn't scared. I embraced him and kissed him.
Me: You really are my cure, Inky.

I put a movie in the disc player and sat next to my lover. Pulling him into my lap, I buried myself into Ink's neck. The hearth was on. It's slight warmth prevented the room from becoming too cold. A blanket was pulled over us.
The movie opened with the generic scene. A busy family getting ready for the holidays. The setting was a big house in the middle of a quiet neighborhood and it was softly snowing. Then there is a whole problem that ruins the entire thing. In the closing scene, either the family go back to tradition or they have a new Christmas.
Around half of the movie, Ink fell asleep, cuddling close to my chest. I decided that I would take a nap as well.
Love you Inky
A Quick Discussion
I'm sorry this chapter is short. I wasn't really feeling it. I had to take a test which drained all of my energy. I wasn't paying attention to editing so sorry for any mistakes. I'll go back and fix them later.
But enough about me bitching about my life, how are you? Are you doing well? I'm always here if you need a friend.
Last thing, I have been waiting to tell you this. I've have done so much research on pregnancy for this book alone. Literally ask me a question and I could most likely answer without looking it up.
