Chapter 54 - Lust's Story
Lust's POV (Age 5)
I watched intently through the window, waiting for daddy to come home from work. The snow covered our street, layering everything with a thin sheet of ice. Mommy laughed at my restlessness.
After an hour of standing on the couch, staring out the window, I saw a car pull into the driveway. I jumped off and dashed to the front door. Daddy walked into the house, completely covered in snow.
Me: Daddy!
Dad: Pumpkin. How was your day?
He asked as he picked me up from the ground. I gave him a thumbs up and smile widely. My eyes caught a glimpse of the shiny badge that was hiding under his trench coat. An eagle could be seen on it. He always wore it to work but I never understood why.
He set me back down and handed me a bag.
Dad: Merry Christmas. Santa wanted me to give this to you early.
He smiled as I stared at the bag that he was handing me. I took it from him with a happy yet confused expression.
Me: But it's not Christmas.
Dad: I know, I know but this one is special.
A childish grin appeared as I jumped into a stool at the island of the kitchen. I slowly started taking the contents out of the bag. I stared at the objects. It was a female fashion doll that came with a lot of different outfits.
You see, Daddy understood that I wasn't like other boys and he accepted it. He loved me. It didn't matter what I liked or that I acted differently from the others.
I admired the carefully crafted, changeable figurine. A gasp bursted from my mouth. I hugged my dad tightly.
Me: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I kept repeating those words until it was drilled into my parents' minds. I wanted to make sure that they knew I was truly grateful for their gift.
Me: Mommy, can I play with her? Or do I have to wait until Christmas?
Mom: Go ahead.
Me: Yes!
I ran into the living room and tripped on the carpet along the way.
Dad: Calm down turbo.
He laughed while he watched me get up and start running again.

I was putting a dress on the doll when I heard my parents talking. I decided to eavesdrop but I continued to look like I was occupied with playing.
Mom: I told you to be careful. The Holidays are around the corner and sleet is covering the roads. It's getting more dangerous by the day.
Dad: I'm sorry Honey but it's my job. I became a police officer so I can save other people from things like this. I also make sure criminals stay off the streets and don't cause any problems.
Mom: And what if you crash or a robber with a gun shoots you? The ambulance from my work might not be able to make it in time.
Dad: That's not going to happen.
Mom: I'm a nurse. I see injuries and deaths like this all the time. I don't want you getting hurt out there.
Dad: I won't. I promise.
Mom: You better. I don't know what I'll do without you. Also if you die, Lust won't have a father so just... be careful.
Mommy looked towards me. I continued my brilliant act of playing with the clothes.
'Don't be suspicious.'
She looked away after a few minutes of staring at me. I ended my acting and finished putting the dress on. The small figurine looked pretty, dolled up in her new gown. All she needed now was a good man.

It was the next morning. Daddy already left for work and mommy was fixing herself up. I walked into the living room and watched the morning cartoon called 'Tom and Jerry'. Suddenly the channel was interrupted by the news. The screen showed a car crash. Mommy walked into the room to watch it as well.
News: There was a major car crash near Town Square. Four injured and one death. They person to die was a fellow policeman named-
The screen showed a picture of daddy's face. Before the news reporter could finish their sentence, the television was turned off. I turned and saw mommy. There was a horrific expression on her face. She dropped the remote. Tears fell from her face as she dropped to the floor. I knew what was happening.
'Daddy has gone to a better place.'
Me: Mommy.
She didn't say anything. I hugged her and let her cry into my shoulder.

Lust's POV (Age 16)
I walked along the street to a special location. It was near Christmas and the anniversary of my dad's passing. I held a rose close to my chest as I walked to the cemetery located just outside the police station. Rows of rows of fallen officers. Each grave decorated with wreaths made of roses and ribbons. Once I found father's, I laid the flower down. It wasn't much but it was honor towards his death.
After I was done paying my respects, I headed back home. When I arrived, I walked down the hallway to wake mom up. Entering the master bedroom, there was a feeling that something wasn't right.
Mom was peacefully laying in bed and nothing was out of the ordinary. I walked to her side and attempted to wake her up.
Me: Mom. Mom. Mom... Mom?
Many attempts and she still wouldn't wake up. A thought crossed my mind. Something that I feared. I reached my hand out and checked her pulse. The thing that I didn't want to happen, came true. Mom died in her sleep. However, it was a peaceful death. I sadly sighed as I called 911.

I was sent to live with my relative, Uncle Earl. He was the next in line to take care of me.
I was currently walking down Town Square when I came across a clothing store. Ever since I was little, I've always adored fashion.
Turning around, I went to my new home. When I got there, I saw my Uncle sitting at the dining table, waiting for me. He had a paper in his hands. I sat down and he handed it to me without saying a single word.
Me: You want me to sign this paper so I can become a stripper?
Uncle: Yes. If you don't sign, I will disown you. I'm very well aware that you don't have any other family members to go to. So you don't have a choice.
I swallowed heavily as I took a pen and wrote my signature down on the flat surface. There was no turning back now.

Lust's POV (Age 29)
I received my dream job of becoming a fashion model but I was still stuck with the stripper gig. Fashion during the day and this shit during the night.
Currently, I am dancing around the pole and awaiting the end of my shift. When my replacement came, I quickly got off the stage. I headed into the back without looking behind me. I was in my dressing room when I saw a person standing in the doorway. They showed me a gold card.
An Assassin
A Quick Discussion
He's going straight to jail if we name him Earl.
I'll give a hug to anyone who understood that reference.
