*4 Months Later*

It's been 4 months since Slipknot announced their Knotfest Roadshow taking over stadiums in North America. On this tour the bill included Chaoseum, Jinjer, Vended, In This Moment, The Cherry Bombs, and Korn as the tour had been a success so far with tour stops in Chicago, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Kansas City, St. Louis, Detroit, and Indianapolis. Today, the tour had a stop in Nashville as Cody was in the middle of his workout when he was doing pull-ups until he finished and soon stepped onto the floor when he looked over to see his four month pregnant wife, Taylor Momsen, doing some yoga with Alicia when he smiled at her and went to do another set of pull-ups. Taylor then looked over at her husband and smiled until her and Alicia finished before walking up to Cody who had just finished his last set when he landed on his feet until Cody kissed Taylor.

Taylor: Looking sexy over there Codester.

Cody: I try to.... for my sexy wife.

Taylor: Oh please, I bet you didn't think I was sexy at all when I was throwing up all over the place last week.

Cody: You're always sexy in my eyes. Especially carrying our child.

Cody then lightly placed his hand on Taylor's tummy as the couple smiled at each other when Cody felt a kick from Taylor's pregnant tummy.

Cody: The baby kicked.

Alicia excitedly stood up and put her hand on Taylor's tummy when she too felt a kick.

Alicia: He or she is just having a party in there. I have no room to speak about it, but I can only imagine what it's like doing this a second time Taylor.

Taylor: Only one way to find out. Have you and Corey ever talked about kids Alicia?

Alicia: We did at first, but I'm pretty much a surrogate mom to both Cody and Griffin so they're pretty much the sons I never gave birth to, but I love them to pieces.

Cody smiled at Alicia and hugged onto her as the mom and son had a moment together as he looked deep into her eyes.

Cody: Love you mom.

Alicia: Love ya too Codester.

Cody then kissed the top of Alicia's head as Taylor smiled at them until they all went to do their post-workout stretches before heading back to the hotel and to get ready for tonight's show in Nashville.

*Later at Nissan Stadium in Nashville*

Cody was currently practicing his aerial stunts before the show until he looked down to see that Ella had wheeled Connie onto the stage as she watched Cody do a trick that she taught him years ago.

Once Cody did it, he unraveled himself down and hung upside down from the silks when Connie wheeled her way over to him in her wheel chair as the aunt and nephew pecked each other on the lips and looked into each other's eyes as Cody still hung upside down.

Connie: I'm so proud of how far you've come Cody. You're aerialism has leveled up big time.

Cody: I learned it from one of the best seven aunts ever.

Cody smiled until he made himself right side up and got down from the silks before he sat next to Connie as he kissed her cheek.

Cody: I'm so sorry that this happened to you.

Connie: Recovery's been treating me well though. The knitting was what helped keep me sane this whole time. People are going crazy over the stuff I've made in these last few months.

Cody: I still feel so bad for what happened though aunt Connie. I mean, yes it was nothing that either of us could stop, but at the same time this is one of your passions.

Connie: And an accident like the one I had was something proven that once you live the life to the extreme, anything and everything could be taken from you within a second. I obviously learned the hard way.

Connie then lowered her head in sadness until Cody lightly put a finger on her chin and lifted her head up as the aunt and nephew had a moment together.

Cody: Everything you said is true. Which is why we're at where we are now. Even though we all wish you were still performing in the show, we all still love you. I could go on and on on how much I love you also, but everyone of our fans love you the same way and could go on and on about how loved you are to us and them. Whether you did something crazy and daring that it cost you almost everything you love, you still have people that love you to the moon and back.

Connie smiled until Cody got on his knees to let her kiss his forehead when she did and kissed Cody's forehead before he lightly hugged Connie before the two of them looked out at the stadium and how big it was.

Connie: It's gonna be a hell of a show tonight. I can guarantee it.

Cody: Better get myself ready for tonight then, I'll be singing with Korn tonight.

Connie looked at him surprised when he said that.

Cody: I wanted to tell you the secret first because I wanted you to know first.

Connie smiled.

Connie: I feel honored to know first Codester. The crowd is definitely gonna go crazy tonight.

Cody smiled and kissed Connie's cheek again before he wheeled Connie off the stage and to the dressing rooms where Alicia, Ella, and all the other Cherry Bombs were preparing for tonight.

*Later*

After Chaoseum, Vended, Jinjer, and In This Moment all put on incredible sets, The Cherry Bombs were almost finished with their set when Cody was doing his last aerial stunts with Ella to the song that him and Connie usually did when he hugged onto Ella at end of the song while they were still up in the silks as the crowd cheered and applauded for Cody and Ella until they started to climb down from the silks and Alicia grabbed a microphone and thanked the crowd for coming out while Connie was wheeled out by Kym and the crowd cheered to see Connie as she waved to the crowd until all the Cherry Bombs had to go backstage and Cody wheeled Connie backstage when Cody met with Taylor and Lili.

Taylor smiled at Cody when he walked up and kissed her before Cody held onto Lili and kissed her cheek and Lili smiled.

Cody: How are you two holding up?

Taylor: The baby's been kicking again. It's literally having a party in there.

Cody smiled until Corey walked up to them.

Corey: Having fun?

Cody: Time of our lives dad.

Corey: Damn right. Anyways, I wanted to talk to you guys about something, but we need to go somewhere private to talk about it.

Cody was a little unsure of what it might be, but he went with Corey and Alicia while Taylor followed him and he held Lili when they went to Cody's dressing room and closed the door before they all sat down.

Corey: It's nothing health related or anything bad, I just have some thoughts about the future that I want to talk about.

Cody: What is it dad?

Corey took a deep breath and was about to give news that was gonna shock them.

Corey: I wanna make one more album with Slipknot and when that album is made, I want to give the fans one final tour after this next album cycle. After that, Slipknot will need a new lead singer.

Everyone was shocked to hear this news.

Taylor: But why? Slipknot is nothing without Corey Taylor. Why do you want to retire?

Corey: I feel that since Lili and whoever else is coming along, I need to go and be more of a grandfather to them. I wasn't much of a father to Griffin and my other two kids when they were growing up. I don't want my grandkids to be without their grandfather to grow a bond with and not have me there for them to grow up with them. I mean, Griffin turnt out alright, but my other two kids and I don't speak to each other anymore. I don't want to put them through with what they had to go through.

Cody then sat next to Corey shortly after he lowered his head in sadness when Cody put a hand in his shoulder when he had a talk with him.

Cody: Dad......... you've been one of my biggest inspirations to get into music since I was a teenager. We've both been to hell and back and look where we are now. I can see where you're coming from with all of this, but it's the lifestyle we've all chosen..... something that you've been working with for almost thirty years. I know that you have a right to think this way, but in my opinion I think the kids are gonna be fine one way or the other. Lili's having the time of her life whenever we're on tour together and her whole family is in one place on this tour as of now. Yes, it's not gonna be like this all of the time, but all this talk about retirement is a game changer. It's completely up to you, but ask yourself "is this what you really want?" I'm not trying to get in your head or anything, but just think about.

Corey lifted his head and looked at Cody when he patted Corey on his back until they all heard Korn about to go on.

Alicia: Let's go watch the show. Haven't watched Korn play in a while.

Cody: Yeah. Anyway dad, think about it. We've still got at least twenty more stadiums to play and then we'll get a break and go home afterwards. It'll give you some time to think.

Corey nodded until everyone got up from their chairs and went to the side of the stage to watch Korn play before Corey had to go on and play with Slipknot. Little did they know, Cody's surprise was about to happen sooner than they think.

*Later during Korn's set*

After playing 2/3rds of their set, Korn had 3 songs left to play when Jonathan Davis was giving his little speech until the tech came up and handed Cody a microphone which confused Taylor, Corey, and Alicia until all the aunts came running up.

Josette: We didn't miss it yet, did we?

Alicia: Nope. You all just made it in time.

The aunts took a sigh of relief when Cody smiled at all of the aunts until Jonathan was about to introduce Cody until Taylor pulled him aside.

Taylor: What's going on?

Cody: Just watch.

Jonathan:....... Nashville, would you like a surprise?!

The crowd cheered as Cody quickly kissed Taylor and he waited for his cue.

Jonathan: Then make some fucking noise for our good friend from Damaged Generation and The Cherry Bombs.... Cody fucking Harris-Taylor!

The crowd roared as Cody walked out and waved to everyone until they played their song, "A Different World" which Korn had worked on the song with Corey as Cody sang and screamed his parts of the song.

After the song finished, the crowd cheered again as Cody bro-hugged Jonathan and waved to the crowd as Cody went to the side of the stage and was hugging everyone that was there from his own family, to Corey and Alicia, and to all of his aunts who were all so proud of him.

Corey: Well that was quite a surprise.

Cody: And I'm gonna do that with them almost every night on this tour. They asked me if I wanted to and I said yes immediately.

Alicia: You're becoming a hell of a star Cody. The reaction of the crowd was something else. We're all so proud of you.

Cody smiled and hugged Alicia again before all of the aunts hugged him again too before they watched the rest of Korn's set and went backstage again so Corey could get ready for his set with Slipknot.

*Later*

Corey walked out his dressing room while Cody, Taylor, Alicia, Griffin and Lili all walked with him until they met up with the other members in Slipknot as Corey slipped his mask on before they all stood in a huddle as Corey gave his little motivational talk with them. While they were huddled Cody leaned over to Griffin and whispered something to him.

Cody: Wanna surprise him again later?

Griffin: How so?

Cody: When they're about to finish playing Custer let's run out there and finish the song with him.

Griffin: Great idea. We can fuck shit up with him.

Alicia then lightly hit Griffin.

Alicia: Language around Lili.

Griffin then looked at Lili and apologized.

Griffin: Sorry Lili. Don't repeat that please.

Lili: Ok uncle Griffin.

Taylor: Pinky swear?

Lili: Pinky swear mommy.

Taylor and Lili then wrapped their pinkies together and Pinky promised until Corey was about to finish his motivational talk while in the huddle.

Corey:....... Craig's gloves still stink on three. 1 2 3!

Everyone got a good chuckle out of it as everyone walked to the stage entrance and waited for their cues as Mick, Jim, and Alessandro all grabbed their guitars and walked on stage while Michael, Shawn, Jay, Craig, and Sid all took their places while Corey kissed Lili's cheek one last time and even gave Taylor's pregnant tummy a kiss before he took his place on the stage and the tape finished playing until the show was about to start when Mick started playing the opening riff to Disasterpiece before everyone joined in and the curtain went up as they all showed themselves in all their glory and mosh pits formed on the floor at Nissan Stadium.

*Later*

Slipknot was almost done with their set when they were playing their song, Custer, when Cody and Griffin quickly got their microphones ready and as soon as the last part of the song was about to play, Cody and Griffin ran out on stage and joined Corey by his sides as they finished the song together.

Afterwards, Cody and Griffin got off of the stage until Slipknot started playing Spit It Out and after finishing, Slipknot played a four song encore and they were done for the night and thanked the Nashville crowd for coming out to see the show. Once everyone got themselves situated and all got on their tour busses, Cody was in the bedroom in the back with Taylor while Alicia, Corey and Griffin all slept in their bunks when the bus made the drive to Charlotte, North Carolina as Taylor and Cody cuddled for a bit as he admired her beautiful face.

Taylor: Is Lili sleeping next to Alicia again?

Cody: Yeah. She loves being by her grandma's side.

Cody showed the picture he took of Lili sleeping next to Alicia.

Taylor: Cute.

Cody smiled as he felt Taylor rest her head on his chest while Cody rubbed Taylor's tummy when he felt another kick.

Taylor: Any other surprises coming soon?

Cody: I wanted to tell you first of what's gonna happen tomorrow night. Tatiana Schmalyuk and me are gonna sing that song that she did with Lions at The Gate. We're still deciding on if we're gonna do that on select nights.

Taylor: Sounds like a hell of a surprise. Your scream just keeps getting more powerful as you perform.

Cody: I'm still trying to improve it, but it's almost there.

Taylor smiled until Cody changed the subject.

Cody: I'm so happy aunt Connie could make it.

Taylor: She's a warrior, no doubt about it. I'm surprised that she's getting around as much as she is on this tour.

Cody: Well, she was one of the first people that really gave me a chance at having an actual family. Now that I have my own, her, mom, and all my other aunts are the reason I got to this point.

Taylor lightly smiled and rested her head on Cody's chest.

Taylor: And now that we have our second on the way, you have more reasons to live.

Cody smiled as well until they started to doze off.

Taylor: Let's get some sleep. For the sake of our girls.

Cody looked at her funny for a minute.

Taylor: I have a feeling it's gonna be a girl.

Cody smiled again until he turned out the light and the happy couple fell asleep as the tour bus made it's way to Charlotte, NC for the next stop.

*2 Days Later*

Jinjer was currently playing their set as Cody got himself ready for his little surprise for the audience when he received a microphone and Tatiana Schmalyuk was about to introduce him.

Tatiana: Charlotte, North Carolina!

The crowd cheered and screamed for Jinjer as Tatiana spoke to the crowd.

Tatiana: We have a bit of a surprise for you..... about a year ago, we did a song with Lions at The Gate, but tonight, I have someone to sing this song with me. Charlotte make some noise for.... Cody Harris-Taylor!

The crowd cheered when Cody walked out and hugged Tatiana before the song started and the rest of Jinjer started playing as Cody screamed and sang his parts of the song while Tatiana did as well.

After the song, Cody hugged Tatiana again and walked offstage and went to get ready for his set with the Cherry Bombs when he went into his dressing room and closed the door until he heard it lock suddenly.

He turnt around fast and saw that a fangirl with a robe on who snuck into his dressing room.

Cody: What the fuck?!

Holly: Hi I'm Holly! I'm a huge fan of you!

Cody: How did you even get in here?!

Holly: Simple. I snuck in. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of you and I know all of your songs with Damaged Generation! And your work with the Cherry Bombs is amazing!

Cody: I appreciate all of those remarks, but I'm gonna have to call security.

Holly: Please please please, can you just sign my boobs and can I hug you?

Cody: What?! You know my wife and daughter are here too you know! She wouldn't appreciate that and you know it!

Holly: Ok Ok, maybe sign the back of my neck and take a picture with me?

Cody:........ Fine. I'm still calling security, but I won't press charges..... and keep your hands above the waist for the picture please.

Holly: Deal.

Cody then borrowed Holly's sharpie pen and signed the back of her neck and she took a selfie on her phone with Cody until he called for security and they were on their way to his dressing room until Holly dropped her robe and showed her fully nude body off to him.

Holly: I know you like strong women a lot. So you inspired me to workout and I also wanna say thank you for inspiring me.

Cody: You're welcome...... nice abs.

Holly: *giggles* Thanks, I knew you'd like them.

Cody then unlocked the door and the guards came as Holly got her robe back on and they escorted her out of Cody's dressing room.

Cody: Oh geez, I hope there was no paparazzi that saw her come in here!

Cody then shook his head and closed the door before he started to get ready for his set with the Cherry Bombs. Once Cody finished getting ready, he walked over to the makeup station and sat in his chair next to Alicia when Taylor came up to him as Corey held Lili.

Taylor: The guard said you had a fan that snuck in? Are you alright?

Cody: I'm fine. She had no intentions to hurt me, but don't worry, I didn't have sex with her or anything. Typical tour shenanigans.

Taylor: I find that a little hard to believe because all of these women want to have sex with you, but you're lucky that I love and trust you so much that I know you're telling the truth.

Cody smiled and then briefly looked over as Corey was playing with Lili as Cody smiled and Layla finished his facepaint before Cody stood up from his chair as did Alicia when they did their pre-show stretches before they went and did their set.
