*A Month Later*

The tour was now on it's last stop in Los Angeles, California at SoFi Stadium when everyone was practicing for the show. Cody was practicing his silk stunts again while Latisha and Meghan were interacting with Lili. Cody then unraveled himself down when his feet touched the floor and he sat with Latisha and Meghan when he joined on bonding with Lili when he held her hands and interacted with her.

Latisha: She's such a little goober, it's adorable.

Meghan: It was so cute when she wanted to go up on the silks with you Cody.

Cody: Yeah, Connie's been teaching her a thing or two about the silks in this last month.

Latisha: Wouldn't it be cute if she were apart of the show?

Cody: It would be. She tried to come up with me shortly after I climbed up. Didn't you sweetie?

Cody kissed Lili's cheek as she smiled.

Meghan: Have you and Taylor thought about having another in the future?

Cody looked at them both with an unsure look.

Cody: I mean, we've talked about it and we all know how fast Lili's growing. I mean we'd love to, but we don't know when the right time is. Maybe after we finish touring or maybe after I do the tour with all of you.

Latisha: What about Taylor's new super group she's gonna do?

Cody: I'm sure at least one of us will watch Lili during our touring cycles. All I know is that after all of this, we've got three weeks at home to do whatever we need to.

Meghan: Yep. As much as it was fun being on this tour, I'm ready for a break.

Latisha: Aren't we all. I say we should do some more practice and teach Lili a little bit more with the hula hoop tricks.

Cody: Very involved aunts indeed.

Meghan: You know it!

Meghan and Latisha led Lili over to show her some hula hoop tricks while Cody saw Josette in a corner who looked a little sad when he got off the floor and walked over to her when he put a hand on her shoulder and she turnt to look at him.

Cody: Everything ok aunt Josie?

Josette: Yeah. The last day of the tour always makes me emotional. I still kind of have bad memories of us splitting up after the last tour we did together a few years ago.

Cody then put his arm around Josette as they looked upon the empty stadium and took in the view.

Cody: We managed to get to here now aunt Josie. After everything we've gone through, we're here now. Hell, that slap gave me a wake-up call and made me mentally stronger. I know it sparked bad memories, but it made me want to spend as much time with all of you as possible. Yes, the pandemic had kept us from doing so for a year and a half, but we're back on the road altogether with each other and about to do another one.

Josette smiled as the aunt and nephew hugged before lightly pressing foreheads against one another and looked into each other's eyes.

Josette: I'm so lucky to call you nephew Cody. I don't know where we'd all be if we hadn't adopted you five years ago. I love you so much Cody..... our handsome nephew.

Cody smiled and the two hugged again before they went to do their stretches with everyone including Alicia who was waiting for him.

Cody: Quite a pose there mom...

Alicia: Trust me... the only other person that saw this was Corey.

Cody: Ok! Don't need to relive that event from five years ago!

Alicia giggled before everyone did their stretches before the show.

*Later*

After Vended played and Cody was on stage with Damaged Generation, they were halfway through the set when Cody was about to speak.

Cody: Now..... as you some of you know or don't know.... we have our second album on the way and we have a new song for you..... would you like a taste?

The crowd cheered as the fan girls screamed louder.

Cody: Before we play it, I also have a surprise for you..... here to help us sing our new song, "Go To Hell", he is featured on this one. Please make some fucking noise for....... from Motionless in White, Chris Motionless!

The crowd went crazy and the fan girls screamed as loud as they could until Chris Motionless walked out and Isaiah started playing the opening riff to the song until Josh got a drum beat going as the song started and Cody and Chris screamed into their mics.

Once the song finished, the crowd went crazy for Cody and Chris before Cody and his band finished their set and they thanked the crowd for coming out to see them. Once Cody had walked offstage, he went to get ready for the set with the Cherry Bombs and looked around for Taylor until he was suddenly knocked out cold by someone.

*Later*

Cody woke up suddenly in a boiler room, tied up in a chair and looked around when he looked to his right and saw Layla tied up too.

Cody: Layla?

Layla: Cody?

Cody: What's going on?

Layla: I don't know..... I just woke up too.

Cody: I guess you were right all along.

Layla: I told you it wasn't me.

The two then saw someone come in. It was their kidnapper when he took off his mask and revealed his face.... it was Tom, aka Cody's biological father, when he tried to lunge at him, but obviously couldn't because of the ropes.

Tom: Hi.....

Cody: What the fuck are you doing?! How the fuck did you get out of fucking jail?!?!

Tom then sucker punched Cody in his cheek before he held his chin.

Tom: Don't talk to your father that way. Look here Cody..... you thought that you could escape from me after that night in the Nevada desert. I have some unfinished business to do and you're not gonna get away from me this time.

Tom then began assaulting Cody as Layla watched in fear when he kept assaulting him until he pulled out a straight razor and began slicing into Cody's arms, legs, and back until Tom threw Cody to the ground and stopped to catch his breath and soon crouched down to Cody's level.

Tom: Hurts doesn't it? You thought that I would let go of everything that happened after you got famous? Once I give you the beating you deserve like i Gave your mother, you'll understand why I fucking left that bitch. Hell, that other bitch you know should've fallen to the floor after I untied that silk. Now you lay there and watch.... while I have my way with your friend.

Tom evilly chuckled when you opened your eyes and couldn't do much as Tom began taking Layla's clothes off and forced himself on her as she grunted and shrieked in disgust and fear.

*Meanwhile*

After Taylor had addressed the crowd of what happened to Cody and announced a rescheduled date, Taylor looked all around the arena with Corey, Alicia, the other Cherry Bombs, and the other members of Slipknot for Cody.

Taylor: Where could he have gone?

Alicia: Um Taylor.... look what I just found....

Alicia pointed to a pipe and a piece of rope when they picked it up and looked at it and soon found a trail of blood spots.

Kym: You don't think...

Alicia: No.... It can't be...

Corey: Son of a bitch......

Taylor: Let's follow it.

They all followed the trail and soon arrived to where it led as there was a door cracked open where it led to a stairwell and into a boiler room and they soon heard screams and quietly went to check it out.

*Back to Cody*

Cody watched in fear as Tom held Layla's arm against a hot pipe as she screamed in pain and it left a huge burn mark on her arm as Tom threw her to the floor and kicked at her some more.

Cody: You sick bastard!!! How fucking could you?!

Tom then went to Cody and kicked him so hard and soon started assaulting him again. Tom then took a knife and began cutting Cody multiple times with it as he screamed in pain until Tom stopped and pulled out a leather strap as he whipped Cody with it. Once Tom stopped to catch his breath and Cody was still aching in pain, he was then flipped onto his back forcefully by Tom until he cut Cody's chest multiple times and he shrieked a bit each time.

Tom: Now that I've had my fun...... you're gonna see your mother...... in hell.

Tom then pulled out his gun and cocked it until he pointed it at Cody's head and held it there.

Tom: Goodbye s-

Suddenly, some people bursted through the door of the boiler room and swarmed Tom as Corey, Mick, Shawn, Sid, and Alex all started assaulting him while Jim, Jay, Michael, and Craig all helped Cody and Layla out of the boiler room and carried them upstairs where Taylor, Alicia, and the other Cherry Bombs waited when the police and paramedics arrived and Taylor pointed to where Tom was and they went to get him.

Jim and Craig set Cody down on the ground who was passed out from shock and pain while Layla was set down by Craig and Michael when she came through. Alicia and Taylor ran up to Cody along with the other Cherry Bombs behind them when Taylor and Alicia knelt down to Cody's level and Alicia held onto him, but Cody was unresponsive when she noticed the blood all over his chest.

Alicia: Cody?! Cody stay with me! Don't die on me now!

The paramedics then had to get Alicia off of him as the police had tasered Tom while taking him to the car in shackles while the medics loaded Cody and Layla into seperate ambulances and took them both to the hospital where Taylor and Alicia rode with him.

*At The Hospital*

Once Layla had her arm treated and wrapped up in a cast after the knarly burn, Cody was in a coma due to the amount of blood loss and how fatal the beating was. Cody was still unresponsive as Taylor, Alicia, Lili, Corey, and the other Cherry Bombs waited for him to wake up, but wasn't. Suddenly, the line went flat when everyone started to freak out.

Aliica: NO! NOOOOOOOO!

Alicia climbed into the bed and held Cody in her arms as Taylor was still by his side and the doctors rushed in to help him, but Cody wasn't responding.

Alicia: CODY! DON'T FUCKING DIE ON ME PLEASE! WE NEED YOU HERE! CODY?!

Alicia then started crying so hard for him, but Cody was still not responding as Taylor was crying fir him too along with all the other aunts. Corey even had tears in his eyes and didn't want to believe what was happening.

*Meanwhile*

Cody saw clouds all around him when he woke up until he heard two voices.

?: Hi Cody.

Cody: Where am I?

?: Heaven. You made it.

Cody then saw the two people come forward when he immediately recognized them.

Cody:...... Paul..... Joey.....

Cody then stood up and ran up to them before he hugged them when they hugged him back before breaking the hug and Cody looked at them.

Cody: Nice to finally meet you.

Joey: You too. Everyone seemed to really like you down there.

Paul: I hate to say this, but you need to go back to them Cody. They need you with them in their lives.

Cody: How can I go back? My body had taken so much pain and trauma from that a hole, he pretty much killed me.

Paul: But you've got a family that's not giving up on you. Do this for your adoptive mom, your aunts, your wife..... your little daughter......

Cody then felt sad until they both put a hand on his shoulder.

Joey: I know, but we just wanna say we really appreciate you visiting us. As a thank you, we brought someone with us.

Joey and Paul turnt as Cody looked up and saw someone he knew.... his biological mom.

Cody:....... mom.....

Serena: Hi son....

Cody and Serena hugged tight until she looked at him and held his cheek.

Serena: I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished in your life since my passing. You're a husband, father, adoptive son, and an amazing performer. Now is not your time to be here, but just remember..... I'm always looking down on you and smiling upon you every day. Take care of my granddaughter and she'll know who I am one day.

Cody felt a tear roll down his cheek when he hugged Serena, Paul, and Joey one last time before he suddenly saw a flash of light.

*Back to the Hospital*

Doctor: Clear!

The doctor used the defibrillator on Cody, but still wasn't responsive. Luckily, there was an active lifeline, but Cody was still in his coma. After a little while, Cody was back in his hospital room where everyone waited for Cody to wake up until Taylor was by his side.

Taylor: Cody......... we can't lose you. Your mom, your aunts...... our little girl..... I don't want her to grow up without a father like you did. That sick bastard didn't think you mean much.......... but to me and everyone here.... you mean more.....

Taylor then kissed his cheek and suddenly started crying.

Taylor:...... I love you Cody......

Taylor held onto him and kept crying while Corey, Alicia, and the aunts all hugged onto each other and hoped Cody would come through sooner than later until Taylor started to lightly sing her song, Rock and Roll Heaven, to him.

Taylor (singing): Freedom found me

Once they all finished singing, they all heard a deep breath and looked at Cody slightly open his eyes to see Taylor.

Cody:.............. that was beautiful.......

Taylor lunged into the bed with Cody as did Alicia and all the aunts ran up to him as they all hugged onto him now knowing he's responsive when the doctor came in and everyone spread out as the doctor checked on his heart and pulse rates.

*Later*

Cody sat in his hospital bed with Taylor and Lili by his side as he interacted with them until he looked over at Layla who had her arm in a cast due to the burns she suffered.

Cody: I'm sorry I accused you of the silk.

Layla: It's alright, you had every right to blame me for it. As you can see, I paid the price after finding out who really did it.

Cody: *sighs* Again, I'm sorry. Especially since you had been dragged into this. I didn't want him to hurt you either, but it happened. If I could, I would kick his butt in all the ways possible.

Layla: Which is why I'm gonna help you in the trial. We both have evidence that will put him away for good.

Corey: So do we. He tried to put up a fight with me and the others that rushed him, but we took him easily.

Layla: See? We've got this.... plus now I can say how small he is down there.

Everyone got a good laugh out of that until Cody remembered something.

Cody: I know it's gonna take some time to get better, but I think I know someone who can take my place. Besides, she's been trying to be a dancer herself remember?

Cody looked at Alicia.

Alicia: We'll give her an audition. Besides, I think Ella would be a good addition to the Cherry Bombs since we know her.

Kym: Hell yeah. She'd be perfect no doubt about it.

Constance: I'm willing to teach her a thing or two.

All the other Cherry Bombs agreed when Cody texted Ella and she responded back immediately saying that she'd love to audition while also saying she was happy Cody was ok before everyone including Cody enjoyed each other's company and thanked God for keeping him alive when Cody looked up for a minute and thought of his biological mom, Paul Gray, and Joey Jordison when he silently thanked them for guiding him back to life.
