*Two Years Later*

Two years have gone by and Cody Harris-Taylor hadn't been able to tour with his band due to the events of the COVID-19 pandemic. During lockdown, Cody and his band mates, Isaiah, Josh, Avery, and Collin had some more time to work on their music and release their debut album all the while work on their aerial and fire stunts. Once everything started easing up later in 2021, Cody had gotten together with his band and did a small tour with them and wowed audiences all throughout Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Cody is now 23 years old and married to The Pretty Reckless singer, Taylor Momsen, and the new couple have been in their home for almost two years now. Taylor had been working on new music herself and had even released a new album entitled "Death By Rock and Roll" which had grown in popularity. Cody had even released his self titled debut album with his band, Damaged Generation, and the album quickly rose to popularity with all of their thrash riffs, hardcore drumbeats, and Cody's amazing lyrics. It was currently 7 in the morning and Cody was doing some aerial silk stunts when he was in the middle of practice until his wife, Taylor Momsen, came into his studio where he saw her come in looking more beautiful everytime he saw her.

While he was upside down, a song he recorded with Bring Me The Horizon came on and he looked down at her and smiled.

Taylor: Learn that from Connie?

Cody: Who else, but aunt Connie?

Cody smiled and then unraveled himself down from the silks when he kissed Taylor and she had something to tell Cody.

Taylor: So...... I have something to tell you.....

Cody: What may that be?

Taylor held something in her hand when she handed it to Cody see it. It was a pregnancy test that said......

Cody: No fucking way!

Taylor: Yes! We're pregnant!

Taylor showed her small baby bump when Cody smiled and kissed her until he realized that he had to inform the others.

Cody: I gotta inform mom and dad.

Taylor: And the aunts. Are you sure though because they're on the east coast right now and touring. How are we gonna be able to see them if they're not here?

Cody: Trust me Tay Tay, there is a way.... I just wonder if dad is still looking for another band to open for Slipknot at Knotfest Los Angeles.

Cody of course was talking about his adoptive parents, Alicia Dove and Corey Taylor. Aka, the lead singer of Slipknot/Stone Sour and the lead dancer of the Cherry Bombs, an all women rock and metal dance group who were on tour.

Taylor: Then again, I'm sure they're not even in rehearsals yet. Give them a call and see what the status is. I just know that I won't be able to tour for a while.

Cody: Well, not until you've got a full on baby belly. Still, my mom, dad, and aunts are gonna be stoked about this!

Taylor: Hell yeah they are honey! I'll let you finish your aerial practices and when you're done, snuggle with me.

Cody nodded and went back to practicing for a few more minutes until he finished and went to snuggle with his wife while he waited for Alicia and Corey to call.

*Meanwhile*

Alicia woke up next to her husband, Corey Taylor, and looked across from her to see her surrogate son, Griffin, when she looked at at clock which read 10 am, she then got up after a long deep sleep from the bus ride to Birmingham, Alabama from Alpharetta, Georgia.

Once she got up and put her shorts on and made some coffee, she picked up her phone and saw the text from Cody.

Codester ❤: Hey mom! Could Taylor and I FaceTime sometime today? We've got some big news! 😄

Alicia was a little concerned, but texted him back.

Me: News?! I wonder what that could be? 🤔 Can't wait to talk to you guys! 😁

Alicia sent the text and heard the coffee maker finish when she poured herself a cup and took a sip until she heard Corey get up and slowly make his way to get some coffee after he kissed Alicia and poured himself a cup of coffee.

Corey: Morning honey.

Alicia: Morning King. How'd ya sleep?

Corey: Painfully. Those bunks get harder and harder to sleep on everytime as I get older. I'm sure the other guys feel the same way.

Alicia nodded in agreement until she brought up what Cody texted her.

Alicia: I just got a text from Cody this morning, saying he wants to FaceTime. Apparently him and Taylor have some big news.

Corey: Oh boy. Whatever that might be. Maybe do that now?

Alicia: Are you sure? I mean, Griffin's still asleep and it's still early in Nevada.

Corey: Griffin's not gonna be up until like noon and you know Cody, he's probably up early doing his aerialist practices. Let's do it now.

Alicia: Fine. Just a minute.

Alicia then started a FaceTime and waited for Cody to pick up.

*Back to Cody and Taylor*

Cody: Taylor! They're on!

Taylor made ever way to the kitchen as fast as she could until she sat next to Cody and he answered the FaceTime to see his beautiful mother and cool father on the screen.

Cody/Taylor: Hey you guys!

Alicia/Corey: Hey!

Alicia: There's my handsome son and favorite daughter in-law!

Taylor: Oh stop it! You're my favorite mother in law and you know it!

Alicia and Taylor smiled and lightly laughed until they were about to bring up the news.

Corey: Sooooo...... what's the buzz?

Alicia: Yes! The big news! What's the big news?!

Alicia was excitedly jumping up and down until the big question from Cody came.

Cody: Guess who's going to be a grandma and grandpa?

Alicia then shrieked in excitement as did Corey which woke up Griffin.

Griffin: What the fuck is going on?!

Alicia: Taylor's pregnant!

Griffin: Shut the hell up! What?!

Griffin jumped out of bed and rushed over to see Cody and Taylor on Alicia's phone screen as they showed the positive pregnancy test.

Alicia: Oh my god Cody! You're going to be a father!!!!

Cody smiled and lightly nodded.

Cody: Yup. I was literally in the middle of rehearsing for the tour and sure enough that's when Taylor came in with the test and showed me.

Taylor: And it's a good thing that it'll be a short tour for me coming up.

Alicia: Still! Holy shit! I'm gonna be a grandma at 36!

Corey: Don't worry about it hun. You're the hottest grandma that'll ever be in our household.

Cody and Taylor gave a loud laugh until Alicia laughed too and gave him a middle finger as Corey and Griffin laughed too. After talking for a while, Corey had a bit of business to discuss with Cody.

Corey: Alright Cody, you know how we're still looking for another band to play at Knotfest Los Angeles?

Cody: I've been keeping an eye on it for weeks. Who did you eventually bring it down to?

Corey: Your band, Damaged Generation, and Bring Me The Horizon. The only problem is that you're both really good so...... I want to put both of you on the bill and have you both play the gig.

Cody:........... I'm up for it and I'm sure the other guys will too.

Corey: Great! We play on November 5th at Banc of California Stadium. I'll send you the rest of the info and set times.

Alicia: I can't wait to see you guys again! The aunts are gonna be so excited about Taylor's pregnancy! Love ya!

Taylor: Hell yeah they will! Love you guys!

Cody: Love you too mom! See you guys later!

Alicia, Corey, and Griffin all waved goodbye to them until they hung up the FaceTime before Cody and Taylor went to call all the aunts one by one. Josie, Crystal, Latisha, Kym, Connie, Meghan, and Katie were all excited and even found out Cody's band had been added to the Knotfest Los Angeles lineup and were excited to see him and Taylor at the gig.
