A Dystopian world doesn't exactly provide the opportunity for candlelight dinners or long walks on the beach. But like life, love, too, can sometimes find a way...

This month,  dystopianapocalypse and dangerouslove are teaming up for a brand new challenge. We're not asking you to write anything new, unless you want to! We're looking for a 500-word passage from your finished tale or work-in-progress that surrounds your characters' first kiss. Or come up with an entirely new 500-word story. As long as there is a first kiss and dystopian-world problems, we are excited to read it!

Make sure your work is tagged with #romance and #dystopia (or #dystopian) and that it represents BOTH themes. You can send us as many stories or excerpts as you'd like, but not all will be accepted into the anthology. Mature writers are welcome, but anything you submit must be appropriate for all audiences. No fanfiction, please.

The winning kisses will be presented in the "Kiss Me at the End of the World" Anthology on the dystopianapocalypse profile. And finished tales/works-in-progress that the excerpt(s) belong to, or standalone stories (not part of a collection) will also receive a place on a brand new reading list!

If you're ready to share your story, have your word count ready and be prepared to cut and paste your entry into this form by October 15th, 2018.
