Here are the duties and responsibilities of all judges for our contests.

Responsibilities

• Read each contest entry carefully and decide based on the following which two are the best. You will find each contest's entries in my reading list titled "Contest Entries".

-Quality of writing
-Punctuation/grammar
-How well the entry follows requirements
-Story ARC
-Description
-Character/characterization
-Presentation

• DM me the top two entries BEFORE the new contest is posted.

• Help award prizes by commenting/voting as described in each contest results. You must award the prizes for each contest before the next contest ends! This gives you approximately two weeks from when the contest results are posted.

Participation

• You are allowed to enter contest every so often, as long as you let me know BEFORE the contest is posted so I can take you off the judging list.

• Please keep contest entries to no more than once a month. (This is approximate, DM me if you have a specific reason why you wish to participate in more)

Activity

• You need to be active on Wattpad, and make sure that the week after each contest closes you read the entries and send me your winners AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I can't post the results unless I get your DM.

• If you are unable to judge a contest for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible!

• If you are going to be on hiatus or vacation, let me know when and for how long, so I don't delete you from the judging list permanently!

Expected Behavior

• There will be no swearing or vulgar behavior allowed! Neither in DM or on these books.

• Respect your fellow judges and everyone who comments or enters the contest, no matter what!

• Be responsible; keep on top of the tasks for each contest.

***If I see anyone breaking these rules, they will be kicked off the judging list and possibly blocked.

Instructions For Judging

1. Read entries as I add them to the Contest Entries reading list.

2. Keep a list of the best entries (or some way to know which ones you liked the best).

3. When the contest closes, finish up reading entries.

4. DM me the top two entries within a week of the contest closing.

5. Once results are posted, award prizes.

6. Award prizes to first and second place before the new contest is posted (approximately two weeks)

7. Prizes to be awarded include:

-Votes
-Shoutouts
-Comments
-Book reviews (I will specify specific judges for this occasionally)
-Book Critique (I will specify specific judges for this occasionally)

8. Wait for new contest to be posted and begin again!
