Hello there and welcome to the results chapter for our third contest, and comedy short story! We truly laughed at every entry. CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners :)

This bellyaching (from laughing so hard) story was about a man and his [fake] friend who somehow got caught up in an adventure where a population of gnomes were chasing them. No, I am not joking. The gnomes were quite angry with the two and they barely survived the chase.

*~SECOND PLACE~*

Written by morbid_bunny

This comical story was a glimpse into the future of Middle-Earth if they were introduced to the horrors of this world: the internet. A hilarious rendition of the characters and how they would react to our web.

Congratulations to you two! And a big thanks for everyone else who entered! We were quite entertained by all the entries!

Remember, when deciding who won, we try to take into account lots of different aspects of writing. Several, to name a few, are structure, grammar, the thought put into the entry, overall soundness of the short or long story, plot, and meaning. But most importantly, we try to pick out the stories that were written by some truly talented aspiring writers.
