Welcome to the battle of Queen Saralee of the Lessaenes vs Chara of Undertale! The battle takes place at the end of the Genocide run. It's from Queen Saralee's pov with Saralee in the place of Frisk. Hopefully I portrayed both chara-cters (not sorry for that pun) accurately. Also spoilers for Undertale, so you've been warned. 

 Also if you like listening to music while you read, search up "Chara battle music" on Youtube and click on "Termination of Determination". I haven't tested how well it matches, but I heard it and thought it matched the mood of the fight.

Enough talking, let's get straight to it!

"Now let us erase this pointless world and move onto the next." said Chara.

Two buttons pop up [Erase] and [Do not]. This kid is really annoying me. Villains are characters that I generally like, but this one thinks that they're stronger than me. I'm gonna show this kid who's the real villain here. I press [Do not] with a wicked smile on my face. "Guess what? I'm not going to follow your orders! Also you need a lesson on who's in charge." I tell Chara. 

"Hmmm, looks like you're gonna have to learn the hard way then," says Chara. 

Chara's eyes turn black with red pupils. 

 They pull out a wicked looking knife. 

 I quickly examine my surroundings and my opponent, Chara. It's all black where we are in the void, and I can't see any edges, so I can't knock them off the edge. From what I know about Chara can kill with only one hit. I might be able to survive, but I shouldn't underestimate them, that's always what brings the villain down. Chara starts walking slowly towards me and I ready my aura.

"You idiot, do you realize what you got yourself into? I can't lose because I have the reset button along with the others." Chara holds up an empty hand up, then looks and realizes the reset button is missing! 

I try to summon the button, but nothing happens. "Where's the reset button? Do you have it?" Chara demands to know."

No I don't." I analyze the situation and figure out what's going on "Our determination must've canceled each other out and neither of us get the buttons."

Chara screams, "Well, I GUESS I'LL JUST HAVE TO KILL YOU TO GET IT BACK!!!!" 

We enter the combat screen. Chara attacks right away, doing several quick strikes. At first I barely dodge them, but then I realize that like everything, this has a pattern. Once I figure out the pattern, I dodge easily. After what feels like ten minutes, although it was definitely less, it's my turn. I press [Fight] and Chara's soul enters the bullet board. I throw aura blasts, but my target is ridiculously agile. I barely make one hit and a health bar flashes above [94/99]. The Locket gives a pretty high defense. My turn is up.

Chara yells, "You know what? FORGET THE SYSTEM!" 

Before I can do anything, Chara stomps on each of the buttons. The buttons shatter like glass and Chara proceeds to destroy the combat screen. How, I'm not quite sure, but a few seconds later I'm out of the combat screen and Chara is charging at me, knife in hand. I quickly block the attack with an aura wall. It shatters once hit and I'm reminded of how much damage one of those hits can do. 

I quickly back up and create some aura icicles, place a few in the ground for protection, and send the rest after Chara. I aim my icicles at Chara's head, but a duck and roll maneuver makes them miss their mark. Chara throws a knife to intercept my next icicle and it shatters in the air mid-throw, but at least the knife is destroyed. I laugh maniacally until I see another knife materializing. Chara backs up, throwing another knife while backing up. I summon a wall behind Chara and send another icicle straight towards the heart. Chara dashes to the side, and grabs the icicle right out of thin air, holds the ends with two hands and breaks it over one knee. Then seeing the other icicles flying right for the skull and heart Chara ducks behind the wall. The icicles crash into the wall.

"Is that all you've got Queen Saralee?" Chara taunts while walking out from behind the wall. 

I run straight ahead at full speed, forming a shield first and knock into Chara, who goes flying and lands several feet away. My opponent quickly throws a knife at my face, but block it with my extra-strong shield and the knife only ricochets off. I go on the attack, pulling out my sword and try to stab Chara. Chara jerks to the side to avoid my sword and kicks my feet out from underneath me. 

Chara rolls on top of me before I can get up and we wrestle back and forth, fighting for control. At some point I lose the upper hand and Chara's hands lock onto my neck. I can feel the life being drained out of me once my air is cut off. As black spots start appearing in my vision and my aura fails to work due to my lack of air, I'm filled with determination to live. This is not where Saralee dies! I tell myself. I ball up my fist and swing as hard as I can. I connect with Chara's face, and the hands around my throat loosen just enough for me to shove my attacker completely off.

"I will not lose to someone like you!" I yell in between breaths.

I send several aura blasts right at Chara. Chara tries to deflect it with yet another knife, but it fails and I land hit after hit. I can see their health bar flashing and going lower and lower. Chara slumps on the ground, but doesn't lose grip on the knife.

"Is that all you've got?!" Chara stands and pulls out another knife, one in each hand now, looking very determined. "I've never had to use my special attack before, so treasure that accomplishment before you die!" 

 Chara raises both knives into the air and the sky/ceiling flashes silver and seems to be falling. Upon closer inspection I realize that it's countless amounts of daggers, spears and other stabbing weapons falling down. So that's the special attack. 

Right before the blades pierce my skull, I put a shield above my head. As it is bombarded, I have to force my soul, determination, and all of my strength into holding the shield. I imagined Fenorel, Armetorius, Selaeyah and everyone else cheering me on and my shield holds. 

Finally it's over and weapons are lodged into every centimeter of ground for what seems like miles around me...but I am untouched. Chara is breathing heavily and I send a blast of my aura across the ground so I can walk amongst the sea of weapons.

"What...will...it...take...for...you...to...die!" Chara says in between breaths, then charges at me. 

My enemy approaches quickly. I wait patiently. Once within arm's reach,one of my aura icicles stabs Chara right in the chest. The hp flashes 0/99 for a second, and Chara collapses, still clutching a weapons.

"Well....then....." whispers Chara. 

I smile. "You were a fool to try and take me on." 

Suddenly Chara jumps up and thrusts a knife right into my chest. I sputter and I collapse onto the ground. Chara mumbles "I'm taking you down with me," and stops breathing. The body vanishes.

"Did you forget that my aura can also heal me?" I tell the air. 

The healing starts from within, a relaxing and cool sensation. It rapidly spreads outwards until the wound is completely healed. I sigh a breath of relief.

I'm still alive. 

I won.

I absolutely loved this, it had an extremely accurate portrayal of Queen Saralee, her method of fighting, and her reliance on patterns and logic. Both characters are certainly very evenly matched, which made for a great duel.
