So I completely forgot to add in a backstory to the song...

Anyways, here it is -> this song basically describes the feelings of a rejected lover, or, more plausibly, a lover thinking of the ex who broke up with them. This person hates that things have changed so much since their love left without informing them. They wish they could bring them back as they still need them. They are clearly still in love with them, and yearn for their lover to return to them.

Another ideal this song could represent is how we miss someone so much after they leave. Broken promises and broken bones seem to have no value at all in stopping them in getting them back. All that matters is that they return...
