Another Contest Woo

So this is a contest for @Skipper_019 so yeah.

"Isn't it breathtaking?" Ruby sighed, staring at the red and white and pink that surrounded her.

"Eh, not really." Yubi said, clearly uninterested. Ruby punched him.

"Gosh Yubi, do you have to be such a debbie-downer?" Ruby sighed again. Yubi was colorblind and could only see certain blues and yellows, red seeming to be completely black and green appears to be yellow and yellow is white. It's called Protanopia and it makes life difficult for Yubi.

"Well, it's hard being colorblind and living in a world that's mostly a color you can't see! It's hard and nobody understands..." Yubi whined, falling on the floor dramatically. Ruby sighed and floated down to meet her friend.

"Yubi, I know it's hard and you had a very rare form of colorblindness when you were alive. I guess now that you're a ghost you still have it." Yubi looked at her with his empty black eye sockets. He lifted his arms to his face, covered his eye sockets.

"We're ghosts now and there's nothing that can be done about it." Ruby said, patting him gently.

"I used to be a distinguishable human. I used to live on a planet called Earth. Earth had so many colors on it. I could actually see colors. Now my world is black and white and and grey and I miss being able to see a beautiful blue sky." He said, sitting on a deep red leaf, looking at all the other ghosts play and admire the afterlife and greet new ghosts. He felt angry at them. He knew that everyone else could see it. All he saw was a black endless void with some grey or white parts and little white sparkles flying around. Ruby looked down at him.

"Look, I know it's probably really boring for you here, but go talk to someone. Every being who has ever died lives here now as a ghost. There are dogs, cats, people, aliens, plants, and anything else that was ever alive. Find someone. You'll find someone like you or someone who could help you or something." Ruby encouraged. Yubi sighed.

"Ugh, fine Ruby. Jeez, why are you so pushy?" He whined, getting up and floating through the black abyss to find someone to talk to. He came across a sparkle that looked like all the other sparkles.

"Hi, I'm Yubi, what's your name?" Yubi asked the sparkle.

"Oh, hello, my name is Kahrah. It's nice to meet you." She said.

"Yeah, so are you new here?" Yubi asked, feigning interest.

"Actually, yes I am. I would like to meet as many of these sparkle-ghost things as possible. Are you new here too?" She asked, her voice high and with a thick accent that he just couldn't put his finger on.

"No, I've been here for a while. Time isn't really a concept or anything, so if you're wondering how long, I couldn't tell you." Yubi said, yearning to be alive again so he could live a better life.

"Well, my name is Kahrah and I was a bird on earth." She said.

"Ah, I was a cat in my past life. I lived with an owner, however I don't remember who she was." He said.

"Oh, well maybe we can find her together, I too was owned by a human." Kahrah said excitedly.

"Yeah, I guess." He said.

"Hey Yubi! Who are you talking too?" Ruby said, floating down gently to Yubi and Kahrah.

"Hi! I'm Kahrah." She said sweetly.

"Well, hello there Kahrah! I'm Ruby. Welcome to our beautiful afterlife!" Ruby said gesturing.

"She says it's beautiful, but for someone like me who's colorblind, it's kind of scary. All this black and grey forever." Yubi said.

"Wait, what color is this place supposed to be? I only see blackness too!" Kahrah said.

"It's supposed to be red." Ruby said.

"I remember the color red! I wasn't colorblind in my life, so why am I colorblind now?" Kahra asked.

"I... I don't know..." Ruby said.

"Hey! Are there any scientists and doctors around?" Ruby yelled. A horde of people rushed towards her.

"Can any of you explain why Kahrah is colorblind now, even though she wasn't in her life?" Ruby asked.

"Well, we don't think we can answer your questions, mostly because we studied on Earth or other planets and studied the laws and medicines of that realm of existence on our little planets." One of them said. There were murmurs of agreement withing the crowd and a large chunk of them left. Only a few were left.

"I believe what you need are religious people and perhaps even some people a bit more on the philosophical side." They answered.

"Well, we need you to get those people!!" Ruby said impatiently. A crowd of people had gathered to theorize about it. No answers came up because there weren't any real natural laws in this strange realm.

"Well, maybe we don't need an answer." Kahra said cheerfully. Yubi looked at her in disbelief.

"I never thought of that before..." he said shocked. He was used to always understanding things and getting an answer.

"Well, now that we can agree that it's okay, why don't the three of us just stick together?" Kahra suggested. Ruby and Yubi looked at each other. Ruby smiled encouragingly. Yubi grimaced in uncertainty.

"Oh come on. What's the use of being alone in this vastness?" Ruby said. Yubi sighed.

"You know what? Fine." He said. Ruby and Kahra grabbed his arm and they ran into the vast red space dragging Yubi with them.
