How to Pitch your story✨

There are many ways to pitch a story, depending on the audience you are pitching to or your story's status. For example, to pitch a story idea to Wattpad to be considered for the Originals program, you need to provide a logline, a summary, a story outline and the first chapter of your story. What is the latest work in progress you're working on? Or is there an old, completed story gathering dust in your shelf? Pitching a story idea is an art of its own, that can be refined through practice. And that is why we challenge you to pitch your story!

For this challenge, your audience is your potential readers, and your story status does not matter; we welcome both works in progress and completed stories. After all, quality is quality. To take part in the challenge, you need:

- a story posted on Wattpad, of course;

- a title;

- a logline;

- a story description (blurb);

- a link to your story on Wattpad.

To submit your pitch, you will have to fill in the form linked below. We will not accept pitches submitted in any other way.

We also ask you to fill the form again for each story you wish to pitch.

⭐Guidelines⭐

- You must abide by Wattpad's Code of Conduct

- Your story must respect Wattpad's Content Guidelines.

- You must own the copyright for any story you will pitch.

- Your story must fit the ContemporaryLit genre. To know more about this genre, please have a look at our Profile's Guidebook.

- Your story must be in English.

- Your story must be fully available on Wattpad. We do not accept samples.

- We do not accept Wattpad Originals

- For works in progress, it must have at least 5 chapters of storytelling posted (author notes, cast, playlists and other miscellaneous does not count), and we ask you to consistently update after submission.

- For series, please pitch only the first book of the series

- You can pitch up to two stories each month.
