"Gah!" Shiro shouted in pain as lightning electrified him.

They were equally strong with their techniques and capabilities. The girl just had the chance to slip some of her electric shock towards her opponent when they were both stuck in seeing who's better. Which resulted Shiro's torture.

Smiling triumphantly, the girl brought out a rope as she locked her hand with Shiro's neck, pinning him to the tree before tying him up.

"This is a waste." Rolling her crustal orbs in discouragement, she formed her seals to finish off Shiro.

Although, there was one thing that his enemy forgot. His expertise is fire.

However he did not get the spotlight when he broke free from the trap.

"Rasengan!"

The lady was blown by an air-ball as her back conked the tree, earning a gasp of surprise and sudden discomfort from the enemy.

"You're always intrude someone else's game, Bakanohamaru."

Konohamaru gave a pleasant grin at his old friend. "Nice to see you too Shito!"

Since they have entered the academy, Shiro and Konohamaru had been friends, hence, the nicknames for each other because they both have pride for themselves.

They have only been apart due to their separated teams which is why they hung out less.

Konohamaru's jubilant demeanor completely flushed out once he caught sight of Blade. "What happened to Blade?"

"That witch struck him with lightning."

"Ah, so she's a lightning user?"

"You bastard," The girl screamed in fury. "You are so going to be in hell before I kill mister hot guy!" She emphasized, mustering her strength to stand up.

"Damn it, why do you get all the girls?" Konohamaru whined as he glared.

Ignoring his friend's claim, he stated. "Baka, I need a diversion." He secretly slipped his strings into Konohamaru's hands.

It took Konohamaru a couple of seconds to realize Shiro's plan. "Gotcha, you can count on me!" He whispered as he ran around the fuming lady who was prepared to vanish strike him with streaks of lightning shock.

"Come and fight me you puny girl!" Konohamaru insulted making the girl furious as she chased him-right into Konohamaru's trap.

Shiro stood between the branches while he set up his master plan before beginning to sprint as well.

They were currently in a forest just nearby the entrance of Konoha. So, the numerous trees surrounded them which increased Shiro's success rate in achieving his goal.

"Baka!" Shiro shouted as a 'go' signal for his idea to proceed.

"On it!" Konohamaru flipped as he dropped down at the grass and Shiro landed on a branch while the girl squirmed in the tight grip.

She was snared with strings tied up at her body.

"You think this tiny strings could keep me from killing you two?" She laughed in sarcasm.

"Yup, pretty much." Konohamaru replied while nodding reiteratedly.

"This is just a simple trap you know, dozens of techniques could be down to get out of this."

"I'd like to see you try then." Shiro challenged as Konohamaru held the strings tightly.

The girl smirked brightly just as she used her ultimate power to let her go. But then her power was gone like a speck of dust. She activated her chakra again but to no use, it had disappeared.

"I-I don't understand, how could-"

"Those aren't normal strings." Shiro began.

"They practically eat up your chakra when you get a hold of them." Konohamaru complied as he raised the strings that he was holding from his fists.

The girl then scoffed. "How are you gonna kill me if you can't move since I could get out and you don't have chakra?"

Konohamaru chuckled. "Oh, I don't need to. Mister hot guy has taken care of it."

"Just so you know, I have a girl in mind and she's not you." Shiro belittled before casting the technique that Sasuke had taught him. "Katon: Goakakyuu no jutsu!"

Fiery flames escaped Shiro's mouth as if he was a fire dragon while the opponent screamed in torture. Once Shiro ran out of breath and the smoke had cleared, the girl was burnt into ashes.

"Good job, Shito!" Konohamaru cheered, releasing the strings form his hands as he slowly gain his chakra back.

"Thanks for your help, baka."

"Anytime!"

Shiro spared Blade a glance befroe requesting. "Could you bring Blade to the hospital? I need to find my cousin."

"Will do," Konohamaru obeyed. "Who's the girl in your mind though?" He teased, wiggling his eyebrows at his friend while bringing the unconscious Blade into his arms.

"You know who. Now, shut up and get him to the hospital."

"You should get her before I do. "

Shiro glared daggers at him. "You wouldn't dare."

Konohamaru laughed mockingly "Stay alive, Shiro. You still need to protect her." He shot him a stern look which means he literally intended his remark.

Shiro gave a curt nod, causing Konohamaru to smile widely.

"Good luck!" Konohamaru said, sprinting off.

A smirk enveloped his lips before running off as well. "I will protect her even if it costs my life."

Air.

She needed it.

But she was losing it.

And she will die if she will not get it.

Just as the man was about to transport Sakura into purgatory, she used her fist to hit the center of his arm as he was forced to let go.

Sakura gasped as much oxygen as she can supply and flash of light passed through the man's chest.

"Raikiri!"

She lifted her head to see the blood drip from the man's mouth with a gigantic hole at his upper body. When the man dropped, it uncover her teacher.

"I got that." She spoke once the earth user had been killed while the lightning at Kakashi's hand vanished.

"I know you did," Kakashi reassured and helped Sakura to stand up. "We're running out of time." He said, making his way to a certain location as Sakura followed him-both aware with their surroundings.

"He said they'd kill Sasuke-kun."

"That's why we need to go to the hokage's office now." He emphasized as Kakashi held his student's wrist before pooffing.

Once they had reached the room, Sakura was surprised to see both Kiba, Shiro and Akamaru inside the premises as well.

"What are you doing here?" Sakura asked as Tsunade sent back the question.

"How about you?"

Kakashi intervened due to the lack of time. "Sakura had found out that the enemies would like to kill Sasuke."

"That's seems odd, Shiro and Kiba here told me that their goals were Konoha's destruction and to capture the kyuubi or in other words, Naruto."

"Tsunade-sama, I may add that we are up against Orochimaru's experiments. They are also the ones who attacked team seven during our missions." Sakura informed professionally while Tsunade smiled triumphantly.

"I believe that data has been clarified already, am I right Sai?"

The Godaime had switched her gaze to the man who stayed beside the door, at the back of the room.

"Yes, Tsunade-sama."

"So that was your mission, Sai? Which is why you were unable to join us?" Sakura looked to her emotionless teammate who smiled in regret.

"I'm sorry, but it was my personal mission."

"So, that's why we were prepared..." Kiba mumbled quietly after he had calculated the situations.

"Don't blame him Sakura, I was the one who assigned him that mission." Tsunade advised, her expression turning into a more serious one. "Now, we are at code red. The enemies are fierce so all corpses must be killed. However, there is a leader. Once you kill him, all of them would drop dead. Kakashi, I'll leave that to you."

Kakashi nodded as Tsunade gave him a look before continuing.

"Sakura, I trust you to accompany Naruto to protection cell 27 then assist others at the battlefield before heading to the hospital." She stated, earning a slight nod from her apprentice. "Shiro and Kiba, find Sasuke and bring him to cell 10. Make sure no one gets captured. Clear?"

"Hai!"

"Move out!"

They all left, leaving Kakashi, Tsunade and Sai in the room.

"I believe that there is still another mission for me, is there not?"

"There is Kakashi." Tsunade cracked her knuckles, staring at him sternly. "Make sure those brats don't die."

"Already a step ahead of you." Kakashi saluted using his right hand before leaving as well.

"Sai go get Ino to guide Kakashi then help with the evacuation and tell Shizune to meet me at the hospital."

"Got it."

"Rina, are you all right?" Tenten ran to her sister as she help her get up.

Rina coughed. "Yeah. The enemy just burned my favorite scroll." She removed the blood that was flowing out of her lip. She even had to bite her tongue roughly to surpress her temper.

The antagonist laughed infamously. "Is that all you got?"

"It's been a couple of minutes and he seems to only know fire. Should we do it now?"

Tenten nodded in agreement at her sister's remark. "I'll run, you hit. Deal?"

Rina's eyes glimmered in glee, "Finally!" She commented as she pull out two olive scrolls from her pack. She has always been the one who ran when they teamed up and Tenten has always been the one who attacked, but now the tables have turned.

"Let's go!" Tenten yelled loudly, catching the competitor's attention which made him fired up-literally.

Fire lit up his hands, just like Shiro. Rina has been hanging out with Shiro ever since they became a team. And she knew just how to beat him with his weakness, now, Tenten knows it too.

Rina rolled down her scrolls as she flew up while Tenten released a scroll and formed a jutsu. She gained a high rate of ultimate speed, so she ran around the enemy which caused more air around the opponent's atmosphere due to Tenten's speed.

The fire in his hands blew out because of too much oxygen. While he was distracted, Rina took this opportunity to send her weapons and catch victory since he does not have the capability to melt the metal anymore.

Multiple pointed steel pierced through the man's body as he fell down with crimson substance gushing out of his system.

Once Rina landed softly to the ground, she earned a hug from her older sister.

"Great job!" Tenten grinned proudly as Rina thanked in joy. When Rina opened her eyes, she caught a glimpse of a fireball approaching her sister's body.

With panic rising in her blood, she quickly turned and took the shot from the enemy.

"Rina!"
