The wind was growing stronger, and it dashed against the house. The wind dashed against the house, producing eerie sounds, which thundered the house. Again, the topic of haunted house propped up, we were chinwagging about the house. As we were talking, I could hear a faint sound of door banging. At first, it was low, but later, the sound was amplifying. I informed everyone, and they too were listening carefully. The sound now seemed to be thundering the house, we got up from our seats. Jaiveer, Sushma, Ravi, and Jaishree had their guns with them; they informed us to stay behind them. Jaiveer, Sushma, Ravi, and Jaishree were leading us. As we moved, we saw that the passage lights were off, Jaiveer and Ravi clicked the switch, but the lights did not work. We understood that, there was a power cut in this area. Fortunately, we had mobile phones handy, so we switched the torch on, and moved. As we were reaching the end of the passage, we heard the sound amplifying, we moved through the passage, we saw the cellar door, adjacent to the stairs, was moving up and down. The lights coming out of the mobile phones were enough, as we reached near the cellar door, it ceased banging.

The cellar door was attached to the floor, and it was quite strange that the winds cannot move the door attached to the floor. We wanted to investigate the cellar, we decided to get the torches from the CCTV rooms, and we ran towards the room. We fetched the torches, and walked towards the end of the passage. Jaiveer and I pulled the cellar door open. It was quite dark inside, there was a stench smell emitting from the cellar, perhaps, the servants have missed to clean the cellar. There was a stair to enter the cellar, we entered the cellar, and as we went inside, the cellar was equivalent to two rooms, it was not too big. There were cobwebs all around, there was a shelf to the right, there was a study table, rocking chair, stretcher, two beds to the left, and few medical equipment. Everything in that cellar was biting dust. We were rummaging through the thing in the cellar. Ravi called us, he showed us a big book, which was in dilapidated condition, it seemed like a ledger book. The book was brunet in colour, its pages were shabby, the book was covered with dust, also adjacent to that, there was a tape recorder. We decided to take it up, we had tissue papers, and liquid solution used for cleaning laptops. We dusted the books, and then cleaned the tape recorder with the liquid solution.
