Keith moaned in pain as he got up and saw where the explosions hit. He sat up dizzily as he reached for his sword. He cried out gripping his leg and saw his right leg with gashes and a snapped bone, the gashes where already infected.

But then he remembered Lance.

"Lance?!" Keith called but yelled in pain feeling something dug into his leg when he tried getting up. Keith looked down seeing some rock was jabbed through his armor right in his thigh.

"Shit..." Keith got on one knee struggling to get up and put all his weight on his left leg as he limped over where he thought Lance maybe. He hobbled around frowning, no sign of the blue paladin.

"Lance?!" He yelled again now worried. He looked over at the dark water seeing something different floating in the water. A blue helmet with broken glass around the eyes.

"No..." Keith limped faster over and fell a few times due to his leg basically useless and looked to see bubbles in the water as they slowly went away.

"Oh god no, Lance!" Keith tried seeing if he could find the paladin but the water was to dark.

Without hesitation he dived into the dark teal water ignoring the stinging sensation in his side. Keith swam deeper into the water as he barely could see a thing even with the light in his helmet.

He was about to go back to the surface to contact the others but his fingers touched something that felt like grass like algae but remembered that was only on earth. Keith looked down to see blood and a hand. He grabbed the hand and yanked up seeing Lance unconscious and gashes around his face.

Keith grabbed around lances chest and heaved him up with his arms wrapped around the blue paladin as he activated his jet packs on his back to get to the surface hoping it wasn't to late.

Keith gasped breaking through the surface with lances limp head laying on his shoulder as Keith swam quickly to the land.

Keith ripped off his helmet as he had Lance on his back on the dusty land then ripped off lances chest plate throwing it to the  side.

"Lance? Lance wake up!" Keith screamed but started CPR by pushing on lances chest with his hand over his other and his arms straightened.

"Lance come on dammit!" Keith screamed as tears weld up in his eyes. He stopped and pressed his ear against lances chest listening for a heart beat. There was none.

"Fuck! Lance please no!" Keith started pushing on lances chest again at a steady pace. He stopped and tilted lances head up as he pinched his nose as he put his mouth over lances pushing air into his lungs.

Keith couldn't help but let the tears of fear flow down his face as he started pushing on his chest again looking at lances calm face.

"Lance work with me here you idiot!" Keith screamed before giving another shove against his chest then smashed his mouth against lances again.

He continued this for what felt like forever as he frantically checked for a pulse.

"Lance please, please don't die, please I'm sorry, you where right, I'm sorry I'm sorry please, please don't die," Keith sobbed as he pushed on lances chest against as he was a mess.

He started CPR again on lances mouth but he knew it was useless, Keith looked down at him as Lance wasn't moving. Keith shakily brushed his hair out of his tan face while Keith couldn't stop crying.

"Lance please, please..." He fell back on his butt covering his face.

"Lance just fucking wake up!" Keith sobbed loudly.

Lances chest heaved up and water sputtered out of his mouth as Lance started cough up more water flipping to his side.

"Oh my go- Lance!" Keith crawled over quickly as he saw Lance throwing up dark water from his lungs. Keith rubbed and patted his back saying soothing words from behind Lance.

"It's okay Lance, your okay," Keith gulped as Lance wheezed laying on his back again.

He mumbled something as water dropped off his lips as he fell limp again in Keiths arms.

"Just stay with me Lance, don't die,"
