All of the children born in the town of Cresentville are born with a special conscience. Now, you may be thinking about the conscience you have in your head. Well, that is only part true. If you have seen Pinnochio, then you may have thought of Jiminy Cricket. Well, that is part true also. Welcome, to the town of Cresentville.
On a piercingly cold night in December, at 10:43 exactly, A beautiful baby girl was born. She had raven-black hair and eyes as green as the rain forest. When her parents saw her, they know exactly what they were going to name her. "Her name is Avia," the mother said, with pure joy and love in her voice. Once all of the papers were signed, the nurses brought in the small box, the one that all children got, the one that contained their charm.
Now, every child gets a charm when they are little. That charm is a single color, circular, and has a symbol in the center. At the age of 5 the charm will turn into the animal of their choice. That animal is miniature, (of course) and it will float around them forever. This is their conscience. It is great, always there to help you make decisions, but all magic comes at a price. The price, is that you don't know whether the devil or the angel inside is talking to you at what time. That part is up to your prior knowledge, but most kids don't know one from the other. It all depends on their personality.
