Back at the orphanage, Avia hadn't felt more sorrow than she felt right then. Once she came back, the orphanage promise her that They wouldn't let her leave until she was actually adopted. She stayed there for 2 more years, making friends only to eventually see them leave. Then, on April 16, 2009, Avia was in the chair in the corner of the rectangular play room, writing in her journal, when a very odd couple walked through the grand steel doors. They looked like normal people, but under closer inspection, she realized that there was something on the other side of them that was glowing. Her, and her conscience (who had never actually talked to her quite yet) walked over to them.
"Pardon me, but could you possibly tell me where you two are from," Avia asked, because it was the only thing that she could think of.
"Well, we are from a pla-" but before the woman could finish, she noticed the small tiger sleeping on her right shoulder.
"Avia, is that you?" the man asked, now awestruck by her appearance.
"How do you know my name?" Avia asked, skeptically.
"What year were you born?"
"2002, and why do you need to know?"

"Honey, do you think it is-"the man asked, but was cut off.
"It has to be, just look at that conscience, it as got to be her," the woman replied.

"I have got to be who?" asked Avia.

"You have to be the daughter we gave up for adoption all those years ago," the woman replied.

It was just then, when Avia saw that both of them had small animals on their shoulders, the woman had a peacock, and the man a lion.

"Excuse me ma'am?" the man called to the receptionist. "We would like to have an adoption interview with this young lady right here."

"Ok, follow me," the receptionist replied. She led them to a small, well lit room with four chairs, two on either side of a table you would expect to find in a kindergarten classroom.

The man and the woman sat down at one side of the table, while the woman sat down at the other. They began the interview.
