Prologue: The Battle of Beijing
The Man looked through his scope at the army infront of him. Is this all China had to offer this man this man who feared nothing not even death itself? The scope of the periscope was lowered to reveal the face of a young man in his mid Twenties, he had several scars that looked like they had faded on his face. His hair was a unusual military haircut style and his beard was all that covered his chin and lip as he looked out at the army infront of him as he sat on his grey horse. The men around him knew his nickname but didn't know who he actually was this man went by the name of "Frame" more than anything but that wasn't unusual for the new dictatorship government of America a government that had now went to war against the Allied Coalition consisting of Russia, China, Britain, France, and Spain, and their lickspitters.
During most of the uprisings in America the most known was the "Nevulon" Rebellion the government that now controlled America. During the two years before the Rebellion began their crusade at Washington D.C. was where later hundreds rallied to their cause believing they were the true "Diplomats" and "Saviors" of America from their government.
When word that Washington was now rallying against the government the first people to join were those of New Jersey, and New York. With a rallying cry that shook the earth itself thousands rallied to a cause that would soon take away their freedom, Liberty, and speech once more.
After almost a year of conflict between the Government of the United States and the now crushing Rebellion one final move had to be placed. The Siege of Washington D.C. carried out by the best of the best the men who lead the greatest warriors on that day, these single individuals would become what would lead the main military force of the new Empire and Government of America, The Empire of Nevulon .
The man who showed the most courage and lead the army of Rebels on that glorious day was now sitting on that grey horse. He was wearing a solid black outfit that matched somewhat to the Uniform of the legendary Napoleon Bonaparte the so called Heir to Caesar. On top of his head was a hat that had a large patch on its right top side the patch was a red wolf that had fangs a unique design for a unusal Empire.
"General Frame!" The mans thoughts were interrupted by a man who rode up on a horse as well his was brown. This man however was his best friend, he was clearly African American, he had a charming look on him and his hair was low cut afro that was a dark black. He wore a outfit which consitted of a red turncoat with the back cape going down to his feet, the secondary as for the cape was black.
"Brandon how many times do I have to tell you don't call me general just Frame." They both laughed as they sat on their horses side by side watching the battle. The battle of Beijing was going in their favor, the soldiers were marching side by side in column's as they marched towards the line of men infront of them. When they stopped they pulled out their weapons, but their weapons were fashioned from old timey Muskets but had a laser effect to them and a wider range than a old musket.
When the columns stopped they had some men dead already due to the fire by the Chinese Military. Due to lack of resources lately the Chinese Military had a lack of Tanks making this battle for taking their capital easy. When the Columns aimed their weapons they fired as soon as the command was given the large fire radius killed a lot more men then they had lost and even made the Chinese Fighters infront of them retreat back.
"Ugh, I wish we had a real challenge since nukes have now been temporarily destroyed, and since the common ways of fighting behind rocks and such is now gone things have gotten boring without a real challenge don't you think Brandon?" He smiled looking at his friend behind him while Brandon Returned the smile.
"Aye, also I believe Malcom is returning with the fifth." He pointed to the west as they both saw the long columns of calvary returning from battle. One man rode up to the two a Hispanic Man who was wearing glasses, he also had a short hair cut which made him seem like a respectable man In the army. Only two things stood out his robotic Legs and Arms but they were well hidden behind the sleeves and long pants he wore like everyone else. His outfit was a turncoat as well but was solid blue with a cape that was also blue.
"Morning Gentlemen." The two nodded at Malcom as he sat side by side to Frame who was in the middle of three.
"Morning Malcom you and your boys find some sport today?" Malcom shook his head grinning but frowning soon after.
"No only just a few regiments hardly worth me and my mens skill." Frame groaned watching his men push further into the city.
"So Frame how's your daughter been?" Frame looked at Malcom after putting his periscope down.
"Allie? Shes doing fine, but hell I had to raise her for over four years without being married got to give me some credit for adopting a child." He laughed going back to watching the battle.
"Do you plan on her following your footsteps?" Brandon asked in completely confusion, Frame who still had his periscope to his eye responded soon after.
"Not Really after the history she had with her mother blaming her for her father leaving, I thought I wouldn't bring her into the horrors of War and we certainly don't want another me now do we?" He laughed while he still watched the battle the others laughed too as they watched the battle without their scopes.
"You make a point Frame better we don't have another "Crazy Frame" running around." They both laughed trying to avoid the angry glare coming from his face.
"Damn it, Gordons line broke again Brandon if you would." He nodded already riding away on his horse two other regiments following him. Malcom who looked unpleased looked at Frame who was still looking through the periscope.
"So tell me how did you become the Supreme Commander of the Grande Armee?" He looked at the man next to him as He lowered the periscope looking at Malcom cold like.
"Simple really, I took two regiments, one regiment of grenadiers and one artillery regiment and I fired on to the local militia in Washington." Malcom looked at him a little horrified.
"You mean you fired at Civilians?" Frame looked at him like he had said something confusing.
"Loyalists, nothing but loyalists they were not innocent in any way as it would happen they carried arms of weapons and fired upon my men, I took the satisfaction of killing five hundred in one street by cornering them." Maclom nodded still having his doubts about what their history was.
"But dosnt that seem a bit rash and cruel?" Frame raised a eyebrow looking at him.
"Cruel? No being Cruel would be like killing a puppy, I took the liberty of freeing a nation from a corrupt government and besides its War you have to do what you must to survive in War." He shook his head as if he heard a bad joke come from Malcom's Mouth. They stayed at the same spot until one of them noticed one thing a large cloud of dust on the horizon, a army was approaching.
"A Army? but who's The enemy? or our own?" Frame asked as Malcom pulled out his periscope looking at the large army approaching them.
"Russians." Frame looked at him as if he was afraid he quicky took out his periscope and looked. Indeed it was the Russians they knew the banner and colors of the Russians all too well.
"Indeed, Bastards got here faster than I thought." Malcom looked at him and then back at their army who were now pushing deep into the city.
"What do you request of us?" Frame put down his periscope and got off his horse, One Soldier walked up taking the reins that were hanging from it as Frame walked over to the far edge of the hill.
"Take your company and whatever Calvary we have slow that army down!" Malcom nodded looking at the Russian army again before looking behind him. Four regiments were in reserve but even he knew why Frame had kept them back, they were the Imperial Guard the elite out of all the rest of their troops.
"What About the Guard?" Frame looked back at him before looking at the guard.
"What about them?" Malcom raised a eyebrow before speaking up strongly.
"Why not use them against the Russians? They have the most training, and most advanced weaponry." Frame walked up to him hands behind his back as he looked at him angrily and coldly.
"Because they are the Imperial Guard they are under my command and they protect me and die to protect me, They are the heart of our army if they break then the army will as well. Now go before I have someone else attack the Russians." Malcom nodded not to anger him further as he rode away on his horse. One Soldier from the Guard however walked up to Frame and whispered in his ear a big grin appeared on his face soon appeared after,
"Have them position themselves on the left side there." He pointed to one spot. "And there." He pointed to the other as the Guard nodded and ran away quickly. Frame shook his head as two regiments of Artillery were being moved into position, He slowly crossed his arms behind his back before hearing the sound of a horn behind him, but obviously the charge by the cavalry was happening now.
"I Despise Russians." He shook his head before returning his gaze to the battle ahead of him.
"But theres always a time to cut cards with the devil." He sighed as he sat down in a chair someone had set up and fetched for him. He sighed looking at a locket before returning his cold gaze to the battlefield, one soldier walked up to him whispering in his ear this was one good news he was waiting for all day.
"Abandoned? Then move the troops in." He nodded as he went back to his position. Frame sighed as he got up getting back on his horse and began following the long line of the Imperial Guard into the city. When they reached the inner parts of the city they all looked around, Dead bodies were scattered everywhere, buildings were blown apart, and ammunition was scattered around them, including dead horses.
"By god was it this bad just getting into this damn city?" He looked around not even horrified like the others as they continued marching towards the capital building. When they arrived they were surprised to find the last of their army securing the Building, several were tossing some of their prisoners over the side of the building infront of Frame as he watched.
"Sorry Sir." One of the responded as he looked at them looking a bit disappointed.
"No, No by all means continue." He nodded at them as he got off his horse heading up the stairs into the building.
Several Hours Later
Frame watched as the last of the Russian army fled like cowards. Victory was his and with it the Empire now had a new capital unlike Washington which always had rebellions and such. Lane smiled as he saw the Russian army flee from the city, all it took was three regiments of Calvary, two regiments of Artillery, and three brigades to stop them in their tracks.
"Frame." He heard the cold voice behind him as he turned around. There behind him was a man his height, he had black hair, and had the look of man who would have killed anyone in his time.
"Steven I thought you were in Washington?" He walked back over to a chair and table on the balcony as Steven sat opposite of him.
"I was but since you just took this glorious city I'm deciding on making it the new capital of our empire." Frame raised a eyebrow as a man brought drinks and food for them, Frame waved his hand for him to leave as he finished placing them.
"New Capital? When were so close to Russia?" He nodded pouring the bottle of wine into his cup before drinking it.
"With as much conflict as there is in Washington I felt like i had to move it espically since its too close for Europe to attack us there." Frame nodded eating a piece of bread before setting it down and looking at him.
"But as we speak Russia is now our concern my old friend, With Beijin now under our control China will soon be ours." Frame nodded again listening.
"And for now you will lead the Grand Army through Russia to Europe, I expect no failure on your march towards Europe besides you know what will happen if you fail." Frame nodded remembering the last events of what happened to last man who failed Steven, he was hung publicly.
"Ill do what I must, but the Grand Army must have more men if we are to proceed through Russia." Steven nodded swallowing what he was eating.
"Leave that to me, ill insure you have new troops, weapons, horses, tanks, you name them ill give them to you." He nodded to what steven said but before they could talk anymore a lone guard walked in and looked at them both clearly he had urgent news.
"Sir's their another Rebellion in Washington, we heard that if this is true that this is the last one hopefully." Frame looked at Steven who returned the glare.
"You want me to go or you?" Steven smiled as he continued Eating.
"You, I will prepare the Army for War against Russia, You can go home and see to it that Washington is kept safe ,same goes to seeing your Daughter who I presume is still there?" Frame nodded before drinking his cup again.
"Then may fortune favor me." He nodded getting up and grabbing his hat. He looked at them both as he walked away leaving the room, the Guard following close behind them. Once again Washington would see what true "Courage" and what true "Strength" was.
