Episode 19: Conquest Day
Frame silently sat in the small, but neatly well made room without moving or doing much of anything. In his hand was the Pendant that Kaleb have given him before he had Sacrifised himself to save him and countless other's by taking on the Enemy alone at Fort George in San Francisco.
He had no way how to tell the other's of what happened there, not much that he wanted to now. Their little "Family" was constitent between Brandon, Frame, Malcom, Neon, and Julia, but now after the loss of someone who saved his life and followed him into battle's without hesistation, by god the man was more Family than he could wish for.
And here he sat in a little office in Beijing waiting for the horn's and Bell's that would announce "Victory Day". This wasn't a Victory or nothing was Victory in his book after what he experinced in America only a week before now, but was it worth all the blood shed and death? No it wasn't.
Frame remebered the ride here from America to Asia and by god it was a lousy one at best, everyday he would go out of his sleeping quarter's to look at the sea which at time's would sooth him. Not during the trip however considering hundred's to thousand's of ship's blocked his view every minute of the trip, but not mention the common screaming and cheering of many Soldier's. The Worst was when they first left and the bitter taste of defeat was killing every last person on every ship, that went for the Navy as well.
The Ride itself wasn't too bad other than that little fact, but the Trip also allowed him to talk and spend a little more time with his Daughter. He still rememebered many of their Conversation's aboard the NE "Dauntless".

"So anything new while i was gone in Russia?" Frame asked his daughter Allie as he sat down in a chair in the small office the men had constructed in the ship for any high ranking officer at the given time.
"Oh you know, Several Rebellion's and almost getting killed by some Terriost's known as the American Confederacy what do you consider new, Dad?" She smirked as she looked at his face which was smiling a bit. Although she had a very sarcastic attitude at time's it reminded Frame of him, but at the same time he dealt with it considering he found it amusing at time's.
"Any one you met? Peferably a boy?" Frame asked while he was looking at the locket he carried with him, but looked at her as she stared at him with a cold expression. Though he couldn't blame her, he alway's was a bit too protective....at least to her anyway.
"Before you assume anything, yes he's a friend and I'm Eight dad im not looking to date now." She smirked as she looked at him, but he chuckled slightly as he closed the locket and looked at her.
"He got a name?" Frame looked at her as he raised a eyebrow, obviously his question caught her off guard.
"Shay, I met him about a Year ago, He's a really good friend." Allie smiled as she spoke about her little friend, but Frame picked up on her smiling, Did she like him? who knows.
"I suppose he's Irish or British?" Frame raised a eyebrow as he looked at his daughter's confused face.
"Yeah, he's British, his father and him traveled to America during the Revolt, they didn't have enough time to get out before then." She spoke as if though she was imagining it in her head, but really she was worried a bit too worried for comfort.
"And the Boy's mother?" Frame looked at her as he finally put the locket on the desk, but silently looked at the paper's after.
"Mrs. Hawthorn, is her name I believe she is still in England." Allie spoke as she slowly arose from her chair to walk around the room.
"Elizabeth Hawthorn you mean?" Frame asked as if though he knew this person as he looked at the paper's still, but his question made Allie turn around quickly only to stare at him.
"Y-Yes I think that's her name, how do you?" She asked slowly since the question had affected her, but she wondered how did he know this woman?
"Old Friend, met her in England when I was sent there to guard a Envoy from the Revolt, Charming lady, Kind, and Respectful." Frame started to write on some of the paper's as he went through them.
"You like him don't you?" Frame asked as his took out a pair of reading glasses as he looked at the print on one of the paper's, but then wrote down his signature on it and putting it away.
"Maybe...." She trailed off as she smiled, picking up one of the object's in the room, a photo, and then sat down again.
"Remember this, there is no Maybe, there is Yes or No." Frame stated this as he looked up at her, though only slightly before he went back to looking at the paper's before him.
"Yes...." Frame stopped what he was doing and slowly looked up at her. She thought he was mad, but was proven wrong when he slowly took off the glasses and looked at her with a smile.
"That's all I wanted to know, but don't get around Julia when we get back home about this." She smiled as he joked about this, but when he finished speaking he slowly got up and took the locket with him.
"Here." Frame held it in his hand's as he offered the Locket to his Daughter, but she didn't react right away he knew. Yet after a moment or two she slowly reached for it and took the Locket from his hand. She was about to ask what he was doing, but didn't get the chance since he sat down next to her.
"I say every time I come back, that we will see each other and will be with each other, but soon enough I'm going to meet my match, and once I do keep something that will forever be a memory of what I have done, even that." He pointed to the Locket that now lied in her hand's, but after he finished speaking it looked like she was sad.
"I wish this never even happened, the Revolt, and everything, I don't see you anymore, and everyday I fear you will get killed." Allie spoke silently as she sounded more and more like she was going to cry.
"I know that thing's have been difficult, they always have been for both of us, but I've done my best to raise you myself, a feat I don't think I can hold anymore with all this madness." Frame sighed as he took out a small pocket watch he had and looked at the time.
"And you have done you're best, a father I always wanted, a man who treated me like his own flesh and blood, and never gave up or didn't stop protecting me, You will always be my true Father no matter who is my real blood Father." She smiled up at him as she clenched the Locket in her hand.
"There's a lot of thing's you've done that aren't great, but a lot of people respect you for them, even Kaleb before he...." She trailed off from the topic when she saw her Father's face which was of disgust and slight anger.
"He will be remembered mark my word's, along with those who died in America" Frame balled his hand into a fist and looked down at the floor.
"At least it wasn't Uncle M, or Uncle B." Allie spoke as if though what she said scared her, but even though the three weren't even related, Allie had known Brandon and Malcom sense she was adopted by Frame which made her come to call them her Uncle's because she considered them Brother's.
"Well, when we get to Beijing you will get a good chance to see them again, after all this time." Frame slowly stood up and went back to the desk he was sitting at before, only to see Allie's excited face.
"It's been almost a Year since I've seen them, this is going to be Fun!" She almost completely forgot about everything they had talked about when she ran out of the door and the room.
"Yes....Yes it's going to be."

Frame continued to sit quietly in the room with the pendant in his hand's dangling from the small chain it had, but only until the Sound's of Horn's and Bell's went off outside.
Victory day was beginning.
Frame slowly got up from the chair and put the Pendant in his coat as he walked out of the room. Though when he did he was met by what looked like hundred's of people moving through the building trying to get outside, he guessed thing's in the Capital Building were messy to begin with.
Though when he followed the group he noticed a Arm was slung around his neck and was on his shoulder, yet when he looked up to see who it was, the man was none other than the King...Steven
"Frame, if you will follow me, you and I are needed on the Official's Stage." Frame looked at the man as he was being pulled to the door, but not by him no, the people yes.
As soon as Frame exited the building he was met by the thousand's of people lining up on the side walk's and out of the building's, but the stage got his attention considering it looked like it could barley old enough people already.
Though he continued to walk until he himself walked on to the stage and took his seat, which was next to Steven's and General Hector's. Yet when he looked around he saw many officer's, Commander's, and Several General's, but none of them met his status in the Military.
Frame sighed as he noticed when everyone had went quiet when Steven stepped up on the stage and took his place on the podium.
As the man went through with his speech, Frame continued to think to himself as Steven rambled on and on for what seemed like a hour until finally he sat down.
"Let it begin." Steven muttered to himself as he sat down, but Frame only looked at him slightly after hearing him, yet the sound's of marching and the band playing tuned out the sound's around them.
The First thing he noticed was the men marching down the street. Three of them were holding pole's with Flag's on them while the man in front held a sword and the two other's behind them and their gun's with them.
Following them soon after was a Battalion from the Army of India, the so called "Infamous" Army that failed because of the Navy's incompetence.
The Soldier's were wearing a Dark Blue uniform with White as the Secondary Color, but their hat's and such resembled Russian uniform's. This was a sign the Army of India were mostly made up of Russian Defector's.....Lovely.
The Next to appear was the Army of....America. The Soldier's present to serve their Army were wearing White Uniform's solid White and had Red lining's that went around their uniform's up to their Arm's.
Though Judging from the Young men who were staring at the Stage, they must have not forgotten the thought that the King was responsible for their Families, Friend's, and Neighbor's dying.
He Certainly did not forget it either.
The Next Battalion surprised him however, considering the first person for him to see as the Commanding Officer was none other than Captain Monroe, but obviously he had to be a Commander now....Good for him, Frame thought.
Though they were all from America the day when they were forced to retreat, the men marched in pride and Marched in Synch, but some Including Monroe were looking at the Stage. Though it was more like they were looking at the King, as if though they were about to stop and fire on them.
The Next to appear was none other than the King's Guard. Steven's Guard was recommended and bested as the Second Best Regiment in the Military and the Empire, while Frame's was the First. However it was no surprise Frame's was the best, Considering he was the one doing all the work in Liberating the World from the Evil, at least he thought anyway.
Steven's Guard was not in their normal uniform's as it went for many other's who were in this Military parade. His Guard were wearing Black uniform's with Gold Lining's leading from their chest, up to their right Shoulder. They too were Marching in Synch as they walked down the Road, but the small Cheer's from the People and the Band slowly creeping up only lead to mean one thing....They weren't very popular around here.
Though as they started to get a bit far away the next group was no surprise at all since the King's Guard had just past them....Frame's was next.
Though when he looked around the Band was playing a loud tune to their song, and the People and the Military personale on the Side Walk's were cheering as well.
Yet Frame had heard a General talking to Hector, his discussion was about how he was disgusted with theirs uniform's, but he held his tounge when he noticed Frame was looking at him.
The Guard were not badly fashioned, minus the fact they were wearing their normal Uniform's.
Their Uniform's were mainly a White, up from the Pant's to the Chest, The Button's and lace's were Golden, and as for the Attire on their Arm's and Shoulder's the Color was a Light Blue. The last piece was the Gold plate's on their Shoulder's, but along with their black Hat's and red Feather on top of it, they were the most stylish out of all of the Soldier's here no matter what the General had just Said to Hector.
Though after the Guard had passed he had noticed that now it was individual Regiment's from the "Grand Army", his army he knew that for a fact.
Though after the next two Regiment's after the Guard, Frame saw a surprising face riding a white stallion down the street....although Malcom was hot headed he surely made pride look good today.
Wearing a full White uniform, and a white Hat the man had several, Medals on the right side of his chest. Though not surprising he had gotten those Medal's, Frame though when he remembered the many battle's before today, during the Revolt, and after.
Even if Frame had to make him a Marshall from the Ground up to begin with.
"General, if you will come with me, I need to speak with you." Frame listened to the what someone was saying to him, but knew it was Steven since he was obviously whispering in his ear.
Though after Steven had left, Frame had followed suite and went after him, leaving the Parade and the hundred's of people behind him.
Yet when he re-entered the Capital Building he had noticed just how quiet it was, except for the King's office which he knew he was supposed to go there.
When he stepped inside however he found Steven with a sour look on his face as he looked through the report's during the War's.
"Good, Close the door will you?" Steven looked over his shoulder to see Frame, but after he spoke Frame silently closed the door and stood behind him silent as he held his Arm's behind his back.
"America is Lost, and that put's us in a bad situation.....So a Change of plan's." Frame raised a eyebrow as Steven spoke....a Change of Plan's, What is he at?
"I order you to take the Grand Army into America, Reclaim it and kill these Terriost's." Steven turned around with a smug look on his face as he held a glass of wine up to his mouth, but when he looked at Frame the man had stayed silent.
"Am I Clear, General?" Steven took a sip of the drink before putting it down on the Desk, but he hadn't even noticed when Frame had clenched his hand into a fist.
"I-I Won't do it." Frame sighed as he spoke, he also looked down slightly, but when looked up again he saw small amount's of Anger rising in Steven's eye's.
"That is an Order, General I'm not giving you a choice, you either do it.....or die." Steven smiled evilly as he took another sip of the drink.
"An Order?, To do what you get over thousand's killed in America with you're bullshit law's, you kill over million's for what personal gain!?, and you except me to lead the Greatest Army we have into that Hell so many more could die!For what?! for you to keep you're fat ass on that Throne of yours....I will not have it!!."
Frame looked at Steven in Anger, but his only response was just silence....nothing more nothing less.
"Go back to sitting on you're precious Throne, I'm taking my Men and I'm saving this Empire!" Frame pointed to Steven and walked away, opening the door, and then slamming it as he walked out.
"You said what!?" Brandon's asked with confusion as he looked at Frame, but when the man turned around from his map's he only sighed.
"I told him, we are not doing as he said....I'm going to continue with our plan's for Europe, I'm not going back to that hell anytime soon." Frame leaned back in the chair as he stared at both Brandon, and Malcom.
"So, It's a suicide Mission." Malcom asked his question with concern as he crossed his Arm's.
"Mhmm." Frame sighed as he answered Malcom's question, but put a hand on his face and rubbed the temple's of his eye's with his thumb's as he did.
"Just like Boston all of over again ,eh?" Brandon smiled as he joked about the supposed "Suicide mission", but he continued to smile when he noticed the other's were doing the same.
"In Boston we have to break a fort's defenses, by using old colonial cannon's after our Artillery ran out of ammunition, that was difficult enough, what we are doing is defying order's from the King himself and invading Europe, with less than seven hundred thousand men." Frame pointed this fact out, but chuckled when he remembered their "Suicide Mission" at Boston.
"You make a fair point." Malcom nodded to Frame when he finished speaking, but knew the cost's of what was at stake here....none the less they were Family to each other, and Family don't betray one another for their personal gain's, Even if it meant working for a King like Steven.
"Either way, it's impossible no-one can break the line between Minsk, and Warsaw, not even you Frame." Brandon looked at Malcom, and then Frame as he pointed out this little Fact, but even Frame knew why. The Line between Minsk and Warsaw was a Warzone, no side could gain ground, and to top it all off, General Nathan would most likely be there.
"Well, if we can't go Through the line, and we can't go North.....Then" Frame eye's widened as he slowly got up from his chair and turned around to look at the Map's, but the one that caught his eye was the World Map.
"We....go by the South....Through the Middle East."
