Episode 11: Technological Terror

Moscow was theirs and Russia was along with it, but now Frame faced a worse threat one that should be dealt with before he could grow further and that was this weak "Confederacy" or whatever they called themselves.

Though first thing's first and he had one thing on his mind before he would Return to America and that would be to oversee and inspect the new Technology or new inventions their Engineering Board was making and he knew a old Friend there who was currently the lead Director for the board.

Though Gerald always was a slippery little bastard and always would be keeping everything he did to be a secret even from everyone in high authority, but even that meant the King who also didn't know where Gerald's secret Research Facility was.

Frame however was only one of the few who did considering Gerald was very selective on who should know of his "Experiment's" and "Research" or whatever he called them from time to time, but the one reason most people could never find it was because it was built in a "Forgotten" Forest where the entrance was blended in to the forest making it difficult to find.

Though to Frame it wasn't that difficult to find considering he had help in where to find it considering he was one of the only few to be given, special access at all time's to the Facility while only a few had access to it.

As Frame walked he looked around at the trees and life that was in the Forest he had known War for so long that almost all Life had been destroyed with each battle, but here...here he felt some peace as he continued to walk in silence admiring its beauty.

Though as he walked he got the feeling he was being watched, but he knew what was watching him when he noticed a hidden camera in a nearby tree, and another in a bush he must have been getting close he thought.

As he continued walking he felt as if though he hit something when he went off the road, but when he put his hand out to feel what he had just hit it was clearly metal of some kind yet it was invisible not camouflaged but invisible.

"This is clearly the place." Frame groaned as he took of his hat to rub his head as he had hit his head when he hit the Entrance, but as he soon as he did he heard a small microphone turn on before someone spoke.

"Who dare's to trespass on my Land?" Frame looked at the Camera that had appeared clearly hovering to him as the entrance was still invisible.

"Frame....Now how about you let me in there Gerald or do I have to kick your ass to get in there back like it was in New York." Frame smiled as he stared at the camera and was met by silence for a minute or so until the man in the microphone laughed.

"It's been too long old Friend now get in and don't make me regret letting you in here." The Microphone cut off with a bit of long static as the Entrance shuddered before finally revealing itself to be a very tiny entrance mainly a metal box more than anything.

Frame however knew that it was rather a elevator when he walked in through the securely locked door which had several locks and mechanism keeping it safe and it looked to be bullet proof and explosive proof as well, but when Frame entered the Elevator he quickly pressed one button and the elevator began to descend into what was the facility.

Frame looked in front of him at the small window the elevator had to show off the first part of the Facility that ran underground, but as it continued he finally came face to face with what looked like a city of Engineer's and Scientist's all who were walking around, Experimenting, or quickly running to their work.

He always did enjoy Gerald's usefulness in getting other's to help him, but this facility made other Cities in the world look timid in comparison though it did strike him a little that only Engineers and Scientists of Gerald's choosing were allowed down here while others were left in the hell that was forming above Ground.

Gerald himself would always be a mystery even to Frame his past was mostly like Frame's, unknown, and forgotten by most though his superior mind and Engineering skills surpassed any who challenged him its what gave him the position as the Director and to be known as the Smartest man on the Planet.

Frame's thought's were disturbed however when he heard the Elevator had touched down on the bottom floor, but when it opened it revealed a very large room with what looked like hundred's of computers and Screens. At each computer sat a different man or woman clearly working on a different Experiment, or tech, but one figure caught Frame's eye, a lone man standing in the middle with his arms crossed looking around at the people working.

This man had greying white hair and he looked to be old as well, besides that he wore a solid white outfit and white pants with several medals on the right side of his chest, but the last piece was the  black cape he wore that was still something Frame never wanted to ask about why he wore it.

"I never expected to see you here again." Gerald spoke up while he turned around smiling as he walked over to Frame shaking hands with him.

"Well fighting up there is different than sitting down here." Frame spoke next smiling as Gerald laughed.

"Yes, well you will find that the facility is more advanced and more construct than the last time you were here." Frame looked around after Gerald spoke clearly noting what he had said.

"Yes, yes it has." Gerald looked at Frame as he leaded him to a another door far away from the others.

"Well, you haven't see the true beauty yet." The man smiled as he pressed a button to make the door open, but when the door opened Frame was met by a large utopia of Scientists, and Engineers everywhere who were making Tanks, Artillery, and other Technology, including Experiments they were doing.

"Impressive, most Impressive." Frame looked around before being lead down the stairs that descended into the ground or street of the Busy Worker's.

"I understand your not here to say hello, but who's kidding you rarely say hello to anyone." Gerald continued to walk as his feet touched the street where hundreds of Workers and Scientists were going on with their day like it would be any normal day.

"You always had a Kean eye Gerald, but it's True and I wanted to speak to you about what I occurred when I went into Russia with the outdated Tank's and Equipment I was given." Gerald continued to walk rolling his eye's to the side as he listened clearly knowing that this talk was coming.

"Yes, and if your wondering why you never had any Tank's to begin with before the Reinforcement's then I'll tell you this all supplies have been low for a while and is limiting the production of our Equipment, and Tank's let alone Jets, Naval Units, and Helicopters." Frame looked at the man when they had stopped above a large glass window that seemed to be a small view point for those to see the Workers downstairs.

"You have endless amount's of Resources and Supplies where the hell did they go??" Frame looked at Gerald as he just stared at him in silence, but when he looked around everyone went silent as well paying their full attention to them.

"I know there's no way to keep you from asking continuously so I'll tell you." Gerald put his arms behind his back as he stared down at his feet looking at the Workers below them.

"There is a special Project we have been working on for some time, but its still not ready despite our best efforts." Gerald looked back up at Frame who looked to be curious.

"And what is this Special Project?" Gerald smiled and motioned for everyone to get back to work which they did do acting as though nothing had happened.

"All in due time old Friend, but first I can show you some other Inventions we have made." Frame nodded to what his Friend had said and started to walk alongside him again, but after a few minutes of walking the two finally arrived in a large room some way's from where they were, but there was different doors or compartment's with terminals in front of them.

"First of one of our new prototypes." Gerald approached the Terminal and as soon as he did it came to life waiting for him to press a button which he did, but after he did a small chest was pushed forward when the door opened and inside was a glass eye.

"This here is something original well to the naked eye anyway, but in reality it make's the users sight and vison better than what he originally was when they lose a eye despite the fact that were still working on the bug's." Frame looked at Gerald and blinked very fast clearly disturbed by this in some way.

"The Next one you might like." Gerald pressed the same button as before and watched as the Chest along with the door closed, but he had already walked off to the next door pressing a button on the terminal yet the next thing wasn't what Frame was expecting no what he saw was a largely modified Mini-gun that looked to be extremely heavy and Deadly.

"We call this piece the Pulse Laser Cannon, the Cannon itself is truly a sign of how powerful laser technology is despite its weight, the cannon cannot simply be lifted by a single individual and with the strength believe me we've tried and we almost lost someone if we hadn't have picked it up In time, however the technology is new and has no confirmation on if it works." Frame stared at it looking at how the Cannon looked like sure enough it did look like a Mini-Gun but like none he had ever seen.

"Though this piece goes with, that one." Gerald pointed to a door at the far end of the room which happened to be the center end of the room.

"Well show me that one." Frame motioned to the Door at the center end as he looked at Gerald, only to be responded by the Old Man walking away not even closing the last door with the Gun in it.

When Gerald reached the far end of the Room he quickly pressed several buttons clearly a code as he continued to press buttons, until he heard the sound of the locked and pressurized door being opened and inside was something highly unlikable and clearly something new to even Frame.

Before them was a large Set of Armor with a helmet, a chest plate, fore arms, and legs all looking to be heavy and slow but tough at the same time.

"May I introduce Z-51 power Armor or at least PA from some senses." Gerald looked at Frame who in return was only looking at the Armor before him it was solid white, but even he knew it was a protoype and clearly hadn't been painted yet.

"The Greatest thing about this Armor is that you could be hit by anything and you would survive, Train, Lightning, A bullet, a Sword, hell even a Rocket this thing would keep you safe, but believe me, we have tested it this is one of the many thing's we have spent years on, though due to low supplies and low time I doubt we will ever build another one of these, or if it will ever work again after one mission." Gerald sighed as he stared at the Armor and then Back at Frame.

"It's Magnicifcent, but this is the final Model and the complete version?" Frame asked his friend with curiousity as Gerald only nodded in silence as a response.

"Hm, I'm Impressed now as for that Special Project..." Frame looked over at Gerald who sighed heavily looking down at the floor before looking back up.

"I knew you wouldn't give up....Fine then let's go and don't mind closing these my one of my Circle will close it at some point." Gerald sighed again before walking away back the way they came with Frame following behind him, but when they exited the room Gerald had made a right turn heading towards a Elevator with a sign that read "Project Vengeance" A curoius name indeed as the two stepped in the Elevator.

"It's up?" Frame asked his Freind as the Elevator Ascended, but was met by silence for minute or so before his Friend spoke.

"You will see why it is needed to be Up above everything else and why the room is the largest in the Facility." Gerald looked at Frame as he spoke and only turned his head back to the door of the Elevator after he finished talking at least until they heard the sound of the Elevator stopping on the floor they were supposed to get off.

When they both Stepped off the Elevator ,the first thing Frame noticed was how many Engineer's and Technicain's there was, but then when they stepped deeper into the Hugley Large room his Mouth had dropped open litteraly as he stared at the so called "Project Vengeance" and that was...a Airship.

"A Beauty isn't she? Not to many of these around anymore." Gerald smiled as he looked at the Massive Airship above them, but to Frame he was still shocked as he stared at the Airship that was being worked on by Hundreds maybe Thousands of Engineer's and Technician's.

"This Airship is without a doubt my Life's Greatest Work, but this Airship it will certainly win us many Battles and even the War though with this Ship no other can compare to it, nothing." Gerald looked at the Airship in pride as he watched the Workers weld parts and Wires into the Airship, but at time's he also watched groups of men carrying building parts to the airship by catwalks that connected to it.

"First Question, how Big is this Thing?" Frame looked at Gerald still shocked as he pointed to the Airship.

"Hm, let me compare it to something...." Gerald went silent as he was thinking of something he could compare the Airship's size to.

"I'd say bigger than the Hindenburg, though much safer really" Gerald looked at Frame smiling at his stern face.

"How many people can it hold?" Frame looked at Gerald as he looked up clearly counting or thinking.

"Your Grand Army is at six hundred thousand so.....that's a resonable number besides the crew, but we would need to increase and see if the ship can handle support that many people." Gerald laughed as he looked at the Ship and at its Brown Hull and Heavy Plating.

"Care to take a closer look?" Gerald looked at Frame with a slight smile before he got his response a smile back and a quick nod.

"Then Let's go." Gerald walked forward and lead Frame to a nearby stairwell, which after they had walked up for God knows how long they finally reached the catwalk.

When the Two reached the Airship however the Exterior of how to get inside was nothing like Frame had ever seen about any Airship. This one was completley open under the large Hellium Plated Balloon or at least that's what it looked like, but the exterior catwalk's was a series of catwalk's going to different Bay's which looked to be clearly Helicopter Bay's for take off and Landing.

"This is the Docking Bay all Helicopter's are transported here by magnetic hooks above us in the ship, but whenthey are ready to take off the Hook's will be kept attached until the Helicopter can hover without falling to its death." Gerald looked around at the Bay's in total there was eight, but besides that were the large Engines in the back, but what caught Frame's eyes was the small Engines that looked like they would hold the ship in orbit for a while.

"What is that?" Frame pointed to one of the Engine's with Gerald looking at it with a small chuckle.

"That is Gravational Hover Engine it's what will keep the ship hovering when it move's...Well at least one of the two things really the Actual Engine's that move this Ship are built in the Back in the Plated Hull that looks like a Balloon." Frame nodded looking up at the roof or at least what looked like the Roof of the ship, but besides that the rest of the Exterior of where they were was mainly a set of stairs that possibly lead into the inside of the ship where a few Engineer's were working currently.

The Two quickly passed the Engineer's and headed inside, but when they did Frame was met by a large Staircase that went down two more level's and on the side of the Staircase was too different floor's that looked like they lead to a ladder and another room in front of the Stairs.

Gerald however walked down the Stairs skipping the first floor and going straight to the bottom floor where they ended with Frame following behind him, but when they entered the room Frame was amazed all to his left and right were Computer's and Terminals along with Touch Screen's yet the only thing that stood out besides it was the wheel at the center front of the room.

"We wanted to keep at least Something on this ship a bit old Timey, but this Wheel along with these Computers are what control and move the Ship the Wheel....of Course turns the Ship left and right....If though that wasn't obvious already." Gerald rolled his eyes as he walked back up the Stairs with Frame following behind him, but now they had approached the room instead of the Ladder yet inside the room was a large well fashioned room with two couches and a large View point with several Window's in the front of the room.

"This is the Observation deck where anyone in high authority can look and oversee what's happening." Frame looked out the window's leaning on the railing that was in the room in front of every window until it hit the wall.

"Very Nice." Gerald nodded and continued with his little tour taking Frame to the ladder next, but the fact that they had to climb was a bit upsetting though when they made it up Frame took it back and looked around this seemed to be the main inside of the ship where the Crew and others would be at.

"This is the main Complex of the Ship, where the Crew sleeps, eats, and trains at, there's also a Research station, a Med Bay, and a Armory after the Cafeteria." Frame looked around yet clearly Gerald had something far more interesting to show him as the old man took him upstairs from where they had been to reveal the sleeping area and above them five Giant Hellium Balloons.

"You've probably been wondering how will this ship even stay up with only a few Hover Engine's, well they couldn't the Ship is too heavy for them to keep this ship in the sky, but the Balloons they are the Second thing that keeps this ship soaring." Frame nodded when Gerald finished speaking looking up at the Balloons and it looked to be true this ship was massive and these Balloons looked like they could hold it for a while.

"Sir i need your signature for the next test to be completed." A lone Engineer had walked up to Gerald handing him a cut board with paper and without hesistation the man signed it clearly noticing Frame had not noticed.

"Now I beleive that is the Ship, but only is there anything else you wish to-" Gerald was cut off once again by a lone Engineer who was holding a letter.

"General its for you." Frame looked at him and took the letter reading it to himself first.

"What does it say?" Gerald looked at Frame as he kept reading it over and over again before finally speaking it out.

"Dearest General, i regret to Inform you that New York has fallen and any Civilian who remained in the city was captured, but i also regret to inform you that the supposed Daughter of your's has not checked in we fear the worst and give you our condolcences in this case, truly yours Teveland." Frame looked at it again....New York was the only place left that the Civilian's from Washington had fled too, but as he thought his eye's darkened and with it he clenched his fists, the one person he promised to protect and the thought of her getting hurt this was driving him beyond his point and he wouldnt let or allow her to be hurt....Not Again.
