Episode 10: Victory in Russia

Frame was silent as he stared at the large empty courtyard in front of him. It was true Moscow was abandoned there was no life in it at all and to top that the prisons were empty as well, but from the Russian Reports it seemed they let the Prisoners go in a attempt to flee in a desperate attempt to flee Moscow before the Army arrived.

Though his Army did not Enter Moscow....Not yet at least he along with the others had to see if the City was fully abandoned and if it wasn't they would find them and take them prisoner. Though the first Regiment to go with Frame and the others to search the City was of course the Guard who stormed into every house aiming their weapons through the door's as they searched them, but never found anyone.

This cycle continued until they regrouped to search the upper layer's of the city, but that's when they came face to face with....it....the greatest Stronghold in the World....The Kremlin.

From this close up it was majestic, a beauty one of the oldest and most well Defended Stronghold in the World right before their eye's if there was any place were the Enemy would be hiding it was most likely there.

"Captain, take half of you men to search the building's, and for this rest storm the Kremlin and search every last inch of it." Frame spoke to the Captain as he sat on his horse, but the Captain only nodded and ran away to give the orders and with it came the cycle of the Guard breaking into the houses and Searching them one by one.

As for the Kremlin the Guard sent to storm it had rushed into the main doorway opening it as they stormed in followed by Frame who hadn't even left his horse outside, but rather he rode it inside following his Guard.

As Frame watched the Guard had split up going through the hallway's that were to his left and right, but several had went up the stairs to check the upper floors which he was what he was going to do as well as he rode his horse up the stairs following the Guard until they reached a large Empty room followed by other Empty room's.

"There's no-one." Frame slowly got off his horse only to have a lone Guard Soldier take the reins of his horse and soon to be followed by several Guard Soldiers who ran into the room.

"Search the place!" Frame shouted to the men as they ran past him to search the entire building, but by the end of the hour they returned to him with no reports of anyone in the building or the city....it was true, Moscow was abandoned to them.

For Hours Frame heard the constant Cheering and same music being played as the Army marched through Moscow in the Hundreds with their victory cheers flooding the air of the City like it was a storm. Though now it was time for him to have his little conference with Brandon and Malcom considering they still had to look for at least something in the city and the Kremlin.

"They can't have left very long ago." Brandon spoke as the three walked down one of the Empty hallway's going room by room as they walked.

"What if it's a trap." Malcom spoke next as he walked alongside Frame holding his Hat with his left arm.

"Your right to be suspicious Malcom, but Russian's are warriors, not Murder's who await in the Dark." Frame spoke to Malcom as they kept walking pointing out a few things of interest as they did.

"Funny sort of Warriors, they had been fleeing for week's." Malcom spoke again clearly making fun of how the Russian's had been running ahead of them for the time they had invaded Moscow.

"Well we beat them at Ryazan, but I doubt the Russian Army in Europe will return considering they are still at war." Brandon spoke up again looking at Malcom as they walked.

"I don't believe their retreating out of panic, but for tactical Reasons." Frame looked around as he spoke they were getting closer to where he wanted to investigate next.

"A Tactic that doesn't work, but allows them to let their town's fall to us." Brandon was the last to speak before they entered a large clean room with several chandeliers and a fireplace inside, but it would appear to be a ballroom of some kind or just a collection room.

"How will Europe, and the Russian Army tremble when they have learned we have taken Moscow." Brandon spoke again when they entered the room chuckling as he did speak.

"We might have taken Moscow, but if we take the President we will have full control of Russia and her Land's, yet I believe the President is In Saint. Petersburg." Frame looked around the room marveling in it's beauty.

"Then will go to Saint Petersburg and load all the previsions we can here...food, and Ammunition, and onwards." Malcom spoke again still holding his hat on his arm as he looked around the room.

"No, we have taken Moscow and that is far enough for the Grand Army at the moment." The two others nodded before a officer followed by Several Guard Soldier walked in.

"We looked Everywhere General, but there's food supplies though no sulfur or Soldiers anywhere." Frame nodded to the Officer who left immediately, but the Guard's did not rather they walked into positions on the wall's holding their weapons with their arms.

"Gentlemen, its extremely cold in the Kremlin what say we, Warm it up?" Frame rubbed his hands together as the other's nodded before walking away to do so, but when they came back to the Large room several minutes later...Frame was gone.

Frame had taken the liberty to explore the Kremlin some more by walking with a lone officer and five Guard's, but that's when he found it the President's bedroom and by god that man lived in some kind of Style a terrible one really to Frame.

The Room was red with a red carpet leading to the main bed, around the carpet there was several chairs with a main chair facing the Bed, and the bed itself had Red covers and a solid Gold Frame along with the other Furniture in the room.

"This is what the President of the Russian's sleep's in." Frame pointed to the bed in disgust as the Officer looked at where he was pointing.

"No wonder he refuses to fight like a man." Frame approached the Bed and sat on the end of it pressing his hand down on the Bed itself.

"Set up my Camp Bed and my table next to this, ehhh....Cherry Cake." Frame pointed back at the Bed in disgust again as he walked over to the lead chair.

"And I want to get rid of these things as well." Frame spoke to the Officer clearly meaning the Chairs as he took of his hat and threw it over to a nearby chair only to be followed by him taking off his gloved and doing the same thing.

As soon as the Officer left Frame laid back in the Chair and sighed heavily he had finally done it....Moscow was there's and he had lead the Greatest Army ever assembled through Hell and Back not many could ever do that. Though now as he laid there in the chair all he could hear was the loud music being played throughout the streets....at least until he fell asleep.

After Frame had awoken from his sleep he had begun to work again by looking at the Map's and plan's before him, but until Brandon and Malcom ran into the room In a hurry.

"Frame we found something in the houses not too long ago!" Brandon spoke out clearly tired seeing that they might have run from where they were to here.

"All the houses have been rigged with Sulfur, and Explosives enough to burn Moscow to the ground if we never found out." Malcom spoke next filling In for Brandon who was still catching his breath at the time.

"Well get out there and get those Explosives out!" Frame pointed to the window clearly ordering for them to get out there, but the two simply nodded and took the Soldier's in the room with them to clear the houses one by one.

"Next time I need to be more clear of what I say." Frame sighed heavily as he went back to looking at the map's and the plan's in front of him. This was until he was interrupted again, but this time by a Guard who only saluted until he was motioned to speak.

"Sir our Military Painter Zevech is here with a interesting piece for you." Frame looked at the Guard while raising a eyebrow he had never heard of this Zevech.

"Never heard of him." The Guard looked at him and held his Weapon with his right arm a common thing along the Guard.

"He's new General, but he's better than any other painter in the World apparently." Frame listened to the Guard and motioned for him to lead the way which he did and for Several Minute's the two walked down the Hallway's of the Kremlin until they reached a large room they had barley anything in it besides the large painting that the supposed Zevech was making.

"Hello General, it is a honor to meet you at last." The man known as Zevech bowed to Frame showing a great deal of Respect as they both looked at the painting.

"Is that....Me?" Frame looked at the painting and it looked just like him except he was on his horse with his hand raised forward obviously ordering the troops to press forward In it.

"Yes, a marvel isn't it? It is a reminder of when you crossed into Gorno-Altaisk and began your journey to Moscow a fine Painting for a Man that is now known throughout the world and by some accounts our time and History." Frame stared at the Painting as Zevech spoke this was quite the marvelous thing he had made for him.

"It's....beautiful." Frame looked at it before Zevech spoke again offering to take his coat if he wished to take it off, but Frame did take it off to his surprise and when Zevech looked at his man outfit he was surprised and interested with how many medals the man had on one side of his chest clearly medal's from his time of service.

"Your clearly a experienced Soldier and Leader, General." Zevech looked at Frame after he put his coat on a nearby chair before returning to Frame to look at the painting.

"So where will this painting be placed?" Frame asked Zevech when he approached him curious of where the Painting would actually be placed.

"Here in this room, or in the Kremlin somewhere." Frame nodded when Zevech responded though it would make sense to keep it somewhere in this Stronghold considering it would be a reminder of who actually took Moscow.

"That's good to know, but I want everyone to know who lead us through this and to Moscow." Zevech nodded and bowed deeply when Frame spoke showing a sign he had understood the message of what Frame was getting at.

"Of Course, but the Army the Grand Army already know you too be the one who lead them through this Hell not the King." Frame nodded looking at Zevech before he started walking away, but before he left Zevech said one final thing.

"Long live General Frame!" Frame heard what he said and smiled slightly before continuing is walk, but soon enough he ran into Brandon who looked like he had more news now.

"Frame, its good I found you I have more news to tell you." Frame walked alongside Brandon as they walked back to the Former Bedroom of the Russian President.

"They all know Frame, everyone does, Europe, the Empire, North America, everyone." Frame looked at Brandon clearly knowing what he meant everyone now knew that they had taken Moscow and now the inevitable would be decided by the Coalition or something else If War was to continue.

"They have continued for War...Frame." Frame stopped rather quickly as he looked at Brandon he thought the Coalition would cease the War well it looks like he was wrong, but it would also seem Brandon had something else to say.

"And I'm afraid to say that with our Capture of Moscow someone has triggered yet another Rebellion in Washington, General Tulius was killed and his forces were pushed out of Washington they now occupy the Capital of America and are calling themselves the Confederacy." Frame looked at Brandon with concern his daughter was right, there was a Rebellion forming in Washington, but all he could think about was her and if she was alright.

"Was Allie caught in the cross fire?" Frame asked Brandon still worried he never showed that he worried about anything, but when he came to his own Daughter he feared for her more than anything.

"I don't know, Frame last i heard all Civilan's were evacuated and possibly Allie was one of them." Brandon spoke as Frame sighed continuing to walk again with Brandon following him.

"I want you to keep the Grand Army in Moscow until i return their's a certain old Friend i have to meet about the Reinforcement's we recieved and then i must leave to help in North America." Brandon nodded but looked at Frame knowing he did not recieve orders from Steven to return to America.

"But the King did not say for you to return to America." Frame looked at him almost as if though he said a bad joke.

"Like I said I do what i want and i wont take orders from a idiotic Child." Brandon sighed and only nodded silently as he walked away leaving Frame to walk to the Bedroom himself.

When he entered the bedroom he noticed outside the window that the men outside were dancing, and cheering still after hours while eating and drinking as well the hundreds to thousands were sitting outside or standing outside.

The part that got Frame however was when he saw several of the Guard throwing books, and pieces of statues in nearby fires. Clearly this was a sign that the Soldiers were destroying the known historical pieces that the Russian's had all around Moscow including a large statue that several Tank's had just pulled down right in front of Frame's eyes.

"Quite the sight isn't it?" Frame looked behind him to see Julia standing at the doorway looking out of the window from it.

"It is indeed." Frame stared outside the window at the Men as they continued to cheer in Victory some falling down a sheer full of might and drunken screams.

"If only one had the power to bring these monsters to bear." She responded as she walked out the room in a hurry, very quickly might he add.

Something was up with her...and for once he didn't know what.
