Chapter 10: Epilogue – Tango's Perspective

The Last Day-

Tango sat on the log, feeling the cool breeze through his hair, holding hands with his lover.

They watched a yellow bird clean its feathers in the nearby tree.

"I always loved those birds." Jimmy said.

Tango nodded in agreement, "Me too."

Jimmy laid his head on Tango's shoulder.

Tango's mom was going to pick him up any minute now.

His summer was over.

And what a summer it had been.

Just then Uncle Ted called Tango.

"Tang! Your mom's here!"

Tango got up, kissed his boyfriend who kissed back, and walked into his mom's car.

Jimmy waved goodbye and they drove off.

...

You're... still here?

It's over...

Go home.

...go...

I love you.
