Nuska's pov.

"Nope. I don't love you anymore" I lied.

I am sorry Zaid but I can't tell you the truth when you have moved on.
I know you dont love me so why should I bother to tell you about my love.

"No?" He questioned shocked and he seemed to look hurt.

But why should he be hurt?

"I DO NOT LOVE YOU ANYMORE" I lied, every word breaking my heart.

"Are you sure?" He questioned.

"Yes. I have moved on"

"Beautiful. You have moved on very easily than I expected" He smiled happily though his eyes said the opposite.

But why should he be sad?

"Yes. Why, can't I move on?"

"Yes you can but I thought maybe you still love me" He said with a fake smile.

Zaid, I know you better.
But why is he sad when he has moved on.

"Are you okay?" I questioned worried.

Maybe he is sick.

He sighed and ran his hand through his hair and replied, "Yes, I am fine"

"You have moved on right?" I asked.

"Yes" He replied while giving a fake smile yet again.

"I heard that you are going to get married to the one chosen by your brother. Is that true?" He asked.

"Yes, I am getting married. My parents and bhai thinks it's better if I do so" I lied.

"Alright. I am happy for you"

"You too get married" I said and got up from the chair.

"I think I have to leave now, my friends are waiting for me so Bye" I added.

But the truth was, I might cry anytime soon so I want to leave this place. I don't want him to see my tears.

"I think I will need sometime before I could get married to someone else" He replied and got up from the chair.

"Anyways lets meet again" He added.

"Okay, InshaAllah" I said and walked away before my tears fall out of my eyes.

Once I was out of his sight, I let my tears spill. I couldn't control it anymore.

I was walking fast to get out of the mall but someone tapped me on my shoulder and I stopped with a jerk.

It's definitely Zaid.

How can I face him now?

"Nuska" He called me and I was relived that it was yusuf bhai and not zaid.

I turned to face him and he looked shocked in seeing me crying.

"Why are you crying Nuska? Tell me what's wrong" He asked worried.

"Zaid..." I hiccuped.

"Yes, what did he tell you?"

"He has moved on without me" I said crying.

"What? Are you sure he told you that?" He asked shocked.

"Yes"

"He told me he hasn't"

"What are you saying yusuf bhai"

"I am telling you the truth. He told me he hasn't moved on but I am wondering why he didn't tell you that"

"Why did you lie to me?" Zaid questioned directly looking at me.

OMG!  When did he come?

I looked at him, still crying because it pains. No matter how much I tried I couldn't move on. It is painful.

He came closer to me and cupped my face and said, "Why did you lie to me?"

"You told me you have moved on" I replied.

"You lied to me before I lied to you. Remember You told me you have moved on before I told you that I have moved on."

"Then you haven't moved on?" I asked while he wiped my tears.

"No"

I wanted to ask whether he loves me but I choose to remain silent.

"Can you come with me? I want to tell you something" Zaid asked to which I agreed.

After getting permission from yusuf bhai, both Zaid and I want to the beach opposite to the coffee shop we were in earlier.

"Nuska I know I have hurt you by rejecting you when you confessed your love but I am sorry I didnt do it on purpose. I had to do it because if I don't in the end both of us will have to get hurt. Now I can't lie to myself anymore neither can I see you hurt. Nuska, I love you and I can never think of living a life without you. When I first met you I never thought I will fall for you so hard that my life will be nothing without you. You are my other half, I am sure about it. If you still love me and want to live with me no matter what I will never leave you" Zaid said holding my hands.

He loves me.
Yes He really loves me.

"But you said your mom won't agree with our marriage" I questioned my fear.

"I will talk to her, if you say yes"

"My parents and Bhai are angry with you" I said.

"I can talk to them"

"But you told Farrah that you have moved on"

"I never said that I have moved on. When she asked me whether I love you, I said that I will talk to you about it. I didn't say I have moved on. She was the one who lied to me"

"You know I was there when you was talking to her"

"I know"

"Hmm" I hummed.

After few minutes of silence Zaid questioned, "You didn't reply to what I asked you earlier"

"What did you ask?"

"Whether you still love me and want to live with me?" He asked.

"Zaid, I still love you and I don't think I can ever forget you and move on. Zaid, I wish to always be with you because you are important to me but you have to promise that you will always be with me no matter what happens" I said.

"I promise that no matter what I will never give up on you. Wallahi (promise), you mean a lot to me and no matter how many times you fight with me or no matter how many times you make me angry, I am never going to stop loving you. I promise that I will support you in all ups and downs in your life" He said and kissed my forehead.

I am in cloud nine right now.
I didn't expect this at all.

I hugged him just after he moved back from kissing my forehead because I was too shy to face him.

Oh yeah, I am blushing.

After few minutes, a ring from my phone disturbed our moment and definitely it was a call from Farrah.

Just as I answered the call she started scolding me, "Nuska, where are you?"

"I am coming" I said and cut the call.

"I am sorry, I have to go back. My friends are waiting for me" I told him after which we returned to the mall where my friends were.

Fearing on what will happen in future I continued shopping.

I have to convince my parents and bhai to accept Zaid because He is my love and no one can change that.

I hope everything will be okay.
