"That's right! Hit him"
Felicity, Lydia and Allison were sitting at the lacrosse field, sitting on the bleachers. Lydia grimaced at her best friend's shouting
"Darling, this is not boxing" Lydia reprimanded, "Sit down"
Felicity did as told, a smile in her face "I know. But Lacrosse's still a violent sport"
Allison wasn't paying attention to them, smiling at the cute boy from English class who gave her a pen.
Lydia sighed "I don't know why I still bother"
They noticed Coach Bobby Finstock screaming at a boy, roughly tossing at him a lacrosse stick with a big net and a big helmet, obviously he was playing goalie.
Felicity squinted her eyes, sure she had seen him before. Lydia felt the same, tilting her head aside curiously. Allison stared at him, a small smile in her face.
"Who is that?" Allison nodded her head to the goalie's direction as he made his way to the goal.
Lydia and Felicity hummed in thought, following her gaze
"Him?" Felicity flickered her fingers, a frustrated look in her face "Ugh, I think I've seen him somewhere. Can't remember though"
"I'm not sure who he is" Lydia answered at the same time "Why?"
Allison smiled at the girls, glancing back at the goalie "He's in my English class"
Felicity flickered her fingers in remembrance, "That's where I remember him from, uh, I think" Allison laughed softly. Suddenly, they watched how the goalie dropped to his knees, seemingly in pain after the coach assistance blew his whistle "Yeah, this is gonna be amusing and painful to watch" Felicity mused, laughter in her words.
Allison stopped her staring to shove lightly Felicity, erupting another laugh from the girl.
Jackson took the chance of the goalie's distraction to shot at the goal, hitting him right in front of his helmet that knocked him backwards.
Felicity jumped in delight "Woo! Right in the face!"
"Ramsey!" Coach yelled
"Sorry, coach!" Felicity smiled, "Go team!"
Coach scoffed a laughter, looking back at his players, as they cheered at their team captain
"Fel!" Lydia laughed, "Wouldn't you mean Jackson?"
Felicity shrugged
Allison, otherwise seemed worried "Don't laugh. That seemed painful"
"That's lacrosse, sweetie" Felicity said sweetly, her tone of voice one that made others understand why she clicked well with Lydia. The goalie stood, shaking his shoulders after Jackson's taunting. "He should just walk away before he humiliates him-" She interrupted herself when the goalie, this time stopped the next ball, catching it easily. "-self" Felicity finished, stunned. Something shared by everyone on the field, including Lydia and Allison.
Allison began to smile widely.
A boy suddenly began to cheer, "Yeah!!"
Felicity gave him a look over, not recognizing him, frustrated.
The goalie caught ball after ball to the point even Lydia Martin and Coach were impressed. Felicity and Allison were just smiling
"He seems like he's pretty good" Allison told them
Felicity nodded
Lydia softened her tone, surprising Felicity a bit, "Yeah, very good"
Felicity nudged Lydia's arm, giving her a small smile, knowing that took a lot from her best friend to say. Any reluctance or insecurity was erased from the strawberry blonde's expression when she didn't see any judging in her best friend's smile.
They continued watching the practice, seeing Jackson getting very angry as the goalie's confidence only grew. The girls watched in slight concern as Jackson shoved away the next player in line with his lacrosse stick, running as fast as he could toward the goal, tossing the ball with all the force he could muster. From where they were standing, the girls could see the goalie seeming tense and nervous, but all that seemed to change when he caught the ball without hesitation
Lydia and Felicity jumped to their feet, clapping along the boy in the stands that seemed to be the goalie's friend.
"Woo!" Lydia cheered
"Nice catch!" Felicity cheered
"That's my best friend!" They heard the other boy yell.
Jackson caught his girlfriend's eye and her best friend, both shooting him identical pointed looks, one smug and the other not wanting him to lose to a nobody. Felicity gave him a mock sad look, but smiled at his furious expression.
Allison on the hand, was looking at the goalie with interest shinning in her eyes, something that made Felicity smile knowingly.

Lydia and Felicity were in the former's room, both of them wearing their PJ's, Lydia's a little more revealing than her friend's as they flipped magazines in the bed
"So, what do you think on Allison?" Lydia asked
Felicity looked up, "Uh, innocence" Lydia hummed in agreement. Felicity leaned forward, smiling "So, do we get to corrupt her?"
Lydia's smile grew slightly, not for the thought of corrupting the new girl but to see while Felicity never got straight to the point, she always gave Lydia her answer in different ways. She had seen something in the new girl, something genuine like Felicity and she didn't have a lot of friends like her, but she wanted to make sure her best friend, her sister wouldn't feel bad or think she wanted to replace her. She'd never. But, she knew Felicity would do anything for Lydia and Lydia would do anything for Felicity
And they both knew Allison was a good addition to their little group.
"May be fun" Lydia said after a few second.
Felicity smiled "You know it"
While Lydia wouldn't admit it out loud, she was grateful for the short girl always being at her side, it made her feel less lonely and know she could always count with someone.

Lydia and Felicity decided that morning not to watch the lacrosse practice, the strawberry blonde not wanting to be embarrassed by her boyfriend a second time in two days. Instead, they spent their free period at the library, organizing Lydia's party while also studying.
Felicity knew how smart her best friend was but never knew why she played dumb and never called her out on that as she figured she'd one day tell her.
"Is everything ready?" Felicity asked without looking up when she heard Lydia place her pen down.
"Yes" Lydia answered simply "I trust you you'd bring the playlist we agreed on" Felicity hummed, focusing on a calculus equation. Lydia's manicured hand was placed in the middle of her notebook. Felicity looked up "On time" Lydia stressed, giving her a pointed look
"I will" Felicity gave her a look back.
"You live next door" Lydia reminded "You can't be late" Lydia stood, grabbing her planners and handbag, "Give your dads my love. See you tonight"
Felicity waved, watching Lydia go, smiling slightly, "See you tonight, Lyd"
