Showdown
"What the hell are you talking about?!Who the hell are all of you?!" Jack exclaimed in confusion, glancing between the multiple clones of himself.
The portal behind them disappeared after a moment once everyone was through, shrinking down until it was no longer visible much to Jack's amazement.
It's a good thing we don't live in the busy part of town, this would look real sketchy since it's broad daylight, Jack mused thoughtfully.
"We're you! Kind of. We're different versions of you from alternate dimensions." The guy with the cat mask apparently named Marvin explained.
"Look, we don't have much time to stand around and chat, Anti-"
"Anti? He's just a character I made up, a demon that comes out at Halloween to freak fans out." Jack interrupted the hat wearing look-alike.
"No, he's a real demon straight from the shadow dimension, same for Dark." Marvin continued.
"All of the egos I made in my videos....they're all real." Jack murmured in disbelief as he scanned the crowd of look-alikes, recognizing them instantly by their attire.
"Chase,"
"In the flesh!" The snapback hat wearing clone cheered.
"Marvin,"
"The one and only." The magician stated with a wink.
"Robbie,"
"Me!" The zombie shouted excitedly.
"Jameson,"
The mute ego nodded politely in acknowledgement with a grin on his face.
"Jackaboy-Man,"
"Here to save the day!" The hero exclaimed.
"Schneeplestien."
"Ve're all here." The German doctor assured him.
"But...none of you guys can be real. I made you all up for fun." Jack stated as he shook his head.
"Look, we'll go more into detail later. Right now we need to find Anti and Dark before they figure out how to take over this dimension." Marvin interjected impatiently.
"You said something about Dark." Mark spoke up after hearing the name.
"Where there's an alternate version of Sean, there's an alternate version of you." Jackaboy-Man chimed in helpfully.
"Why?" Mark frowned in confusion.
"Oh for fucks sake, let's go already!" Chase snapped in irritation, clearly tired of standing around.
"At least tell us how you got here." Amy cut in.
"Using this, now go back inside while we take care of these motherfuckers." Marvin replied as he waved a seemingly normal wand in his hand.
Before Amy, Mark, Signe, or Jack could open their mouths to ask more questions, Schneep and the others ran off in the direction Anti and Dark seemed to be heading.
Instead of doing as the magician had ordered, the four followed them deeper into Brighton, driven by their curiosity.
The six abruptly froze at the sidewalk as cars rushed by, clearly confused by all of the busy chaos around them.
"This is nothing like my dimension." Chase murmured in awe as he looked around at the driving cars and bright lights with wide eyes.
"Probably since your dimension doesn't have any colors and doesn't even know what fun means." Jackaboy-Man scoffed.
"Anyone see Anti or Dark?" Marvin spoke up, anxiously looking around for signs of the demons.
Jameson squinted as put the monocle over his eye, peering into it so he could search the horizon for the pair.
"No, they're gone." Schneep muttered in mild frustration, his crystal blue eyes calculating every direction the demons could've gone.
"We want to help."
The Jack doppelgängers whirled around in surprise to see Mark, Amy, Jack, and Signe standing behind them.
"Trust us, you don't want to get involved with them." Chase told the YouTubers sternly.
"I know my way around here, and so does Signe." Jack protested defensively.
"Doc?" Chase sighed wearily, glancing back at the German.
"Fine, let zhem join us on zhis suicide mission." Schneep huffed, obviously not okay with letting them help.
"Yay!" Robbie cheered happily, wrapping Jack up in a hug much to the Irishman's surprise.
Jameson flashed the four a thumbs up to show his approval, seeming just as happy as Robbie.
"Where would be a good place to start?" Marvin inquired Jack, his cool blue eyes boring into Jack's own blue eyes.
"I'd assume they'd be somewhere well known, somewhere with a lot of people all the time...." Jack trailed off, his face paling as a realization dawned on him.
"The pier, there's ton of people there right now since it's nice outside."
"Lead the way!" Jackaboy-Man declared.
With that, Jack ran through Brighton with his friends and alternate versions of himself by his side, the posse earning odd stares from many a confused passerby.
Yet when they got closer, they soon found themselves trying to fight the current of people screaming and trying to run the other way.
"Jackaboy-Man, try and get through faster!" Marvin yelled.
The hero nodded before doing an impressive front flip over the sea of people to land at the entrance of the boardwalk, finding himself face to face with Anti while Dark stood further back towards the end.
Many of the booths were decimated into piles of rubble, a section of the dock floating to the bottom of the ocean.
"Hello again hero." Anti sneered, casually twirling a black handled kitchen knife in his hand.
"Leave this dimension alone and go back to the hole where you scum came from!" Jackaboy-Man yelled.
"Now why should we?" Dark countered as he sauntered over to his counterpart's side.
"You want to do this the hard way?" Jackaboy-Man snarled threateningly.
"That's the best way to do anything." Anti countered tauntingly before abruptly charging at the hero.
The others finally managed to push through the crowd just in time to see Anti rush towards Jackaboy-Man with a knife while Dark rose in the air with a faint red and blue aura surrounding him.
Robbie tottered forward towards the battle, apparently not noticing the danger he was going to.
"Robbie!" Chase yelled in exasperation before running forward with a gun in hand.
Jackaboy-Man and Anti were locked in hand to hand combat, the demon slashing wildly at Jackaboy-Man while the hero managed to dodge his attempts.
Chase was shooting at Dark with his brightly colored pistol to distract him from Robbie, allowing Marvin to swoop in and drag the zombie back to safety.
"Schneep, stay with Robbie and the others while I help Jackaboy-Man!" Marvin yelled to Schneep as he darted back towards Dark.
The dark haired demon smiled maniacally as he watched Marvin approach, seeming unconcerned.
Jameson followed after the magician to help, a knife of his own in hand that he had created.
"How did he do that?" Amy asked the doctor as she watched Jameson.
"He can summon small objects to aid him." Schneep explained as he held Robbie's hand to keep him from wandering off.
Chase and Marvin attacked the demon with bullets and magic, yet neither seemed to affect Dark much to their dismay as he effortlessly dodged them.
"Help!"
Schneep watched with eyes wide in terror as Anti struck Jackaboy-Man down, his chest bleeding heavily as Anti held his torn blue mask up in triumph.
"Where's your hero now?" Anti laughed, sending chills down Jack's spine.
"We need to go, we can't take them alone!" Marvin cried, a long crack running down his cat mask and his black cape torn in various places.
Jameson opened his mouth in a silent scream as Dark grabbed him in a chokehold, causing him to drop the knife with a clatter to the ground.
"This is the police, everyone put your hands up!"
The YouTubers turned to see an armada of police cars blocking the entrance, a chopper hovering over them for support.
Marvin used his wand to fire green acid at Dark, causing him to hiss in pain and drop Jameson to the ground with a thud.
"I got him!" Chase called to the others, scooping up the unconscious male in his arms bridal style.
"Ve need a portal Marv!" Schneep barked to the magician.
"I-"
Marvin was cut off when Dark punched him hard enough to send him flying into one of the cop cars and smash its side in.
"Fire!" One of the officer's barked.
"Marvin!" Chase yelled worriedly.
Bullets instantly barraged the group, distracting the demons from their targets momentarily.
The magician groaned as he staggered to his feet, a thin trail of blood running from his mouth.
He swiped it away with the back of his hand as he waved his wand to create a portal, causing the officers to pause in confusion as they watched him disappear.
"That's right, run away cowards!" Anti sneered triumphantly as the group retreated.
Chase carried Jameson through the portal with him while Mark, Amy, and Signe ran through with Schneep bringing Jackaboy-Man with him.
Anti threw his knife at Jack as he stepped through the portal, scowling as the portal closed behind him.
"Everyone okay?" Schneep called out as he scanned the group.
They had arrived inside Jack's living room in his house, everything looking the same as it had when he and his friends had left.
"I'm okay." Mark nodded, Amy and Signe doing the same.
Jameson and Jackaboy-Man were laid on the couch so Schneep could tend to them, Mark and Signe helping him gather medical supplies.
"Jack, are you okay?" Chase questioned the Irish gamer, noticing that he hadn't moved and that his face was drained of all color.
"I..." Jack trailed off as he collapsed to the floor unconscious, a familiar black handled kitchen knife sticking out of his back.
