Stiles' POV

7:16 am

Crap, I'm gonna be late for school. Jumping out of bed, he quickly ran to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Stiles put on the first clean outfit he could find. He grabbed his phone and bag before rushing outside to his blue Jeep. He started the engine and "accidentally" passed a few red lights and stop signs to arrive on time.

He made it to school five minutes before the bell and met up with his best friend, Scott. "Stiles, hey where were you this morning? I tried calling but went straight to voicemail."

Stiles scratched the back of his neck and ran a hand down his face. "Woke up late and my phone was off. Sorry man." The two boys began walking to their first class of the day.

"Don't worry about it. Try to get more sleep though," Scott's eyes traveled across Stiles' face, "You look like garbage."

"Thanks Scott, you always know just what to say." Stiles winked at Scott who rolled his eyes. The bell rang signaling that school was starting. They entered the classroom and took their seats.

*time skip because school is boring*

When the final bell rang, Scott and Stiles made their way to the locker room for lacrosse practice. Long story short, they did a lot of running today, and Stiles was metaphorically dying. After practice, he showered and drove back home.

While trying and failing to do homework, Stiles' phone pinged from his groupchat with Scott, Lydia, Liam, Malia, and Kira. Lydia was essentially forcing them to go to her friend's basketball game tomorrow. He texted back agreeing to go and put his phone into his back pocket.

Stiles went downstairs to his kitchen and began making dinner for his father (who has yet to come home) and himself. He made pasta and vegetables then brewed a pot of coffee hoping it wouldn't be too cold for when his dad returned. He ate his serving and walked back to his room. Too exhausted to do schoolwork, Stiles collapsed on his bed and fell asleep.

This was super short, but the other chapters are longer. I don't proofread so definitely call me out on anything.
