(Place: School library Time: Lunch break)

A sigh can be heard from the certain bluenette who is having trouble finding a book for his research.

"Why am I having trouble finding a book? I mean, this library is so big that I can almost find all of the information I n need" Nagisa mumbled to himself with a frustrated groan.

"Are you looking for this?"

Nagisa heard someone from his back so he turned and was greeted by a red-head with captivating golden eyes but it seems our certain bluenette was not affected by it.

Nagisa looked at the mysterious red-head's eyes before looking at the book he's handling that caused his eyes to widen.

"That's what I've been looking for this whole time!" Nagisa exclaimed that caused the students from the library to shush him.

Nagisa looked apologetically at the students before facing the chuckling red-head.

Nagisa frowned 'What's so funny about that?' He thought but decided to just shrug it off.

"Here" The golden-eyed guy handed the book to Nagisa.

"Thank you...but...how did you know about me looking for this book?" Nagisa can't help but ask that caused the red-head to raise his eyebrows.

"Actually, Ever since you got in here, I'm already observing you. And as I have perceived, you're having a trouble, I decided to watch first before interfering. I saw you picking books related to metrical. It must be a coincidence that I'm the one who's reading it the whole time. I apologize for having something that you need" The guy explained with a sincere smile.

"No, it's alright. If it weren't for you, I won't be able to find this book...I'm actually amazed by your observation skills" Said Nagisa with a smile.

The red-head stared at him for a while before introducing himself.

"By the way, my name is Karma Akabane. What's yours?" Karma introduced before offering Nagisa his hand which the bluenette gratefully shook.

"Mine is Nagisa Shiota. Pleased to meet you, Karma-kun"

"Nagisa, Let's go! We need the book so that we can finish our work before the end of the class!" Someone whispered from the exit door.

Nagisa faced the caller and found that it's Kayano, his friend.

Nagisa nodded before facing Karma.

"It's nice meeting you, Karma-kun. Hope we meet again!" Nagisa whispered with a smile which the red-head returned before the bluenette ran towards his friend.

"*smirk* I know we will meet again, Nagisa..."

(Place: Classroom)

"Nagisa, who's the guy you're talking with? I can't see his face since his back is facing my direction" Asked Kayano.

"His name is...Karma Akabane?" Nagisa stated, not really sure if he was able to pronounce the name correctly.

Kayano's ogles widened after hearing the name.

"His name is Karma?! Nagisa, Do you really know him?!" Ayano suddenly exclaimed.

"E-eh?"-Nagisa.

"*face palm* the way you replied to my question just answered it. You don't have a clue about him, have you?"-Kayano.

"I just met him. Of course I don't have"

"Well, even though you don't. I'm surprised you don't know"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, let's just say he's called the famous 'Ace' by our classmates since he can do almost everything! ...I mean not almost, but absolutely everything!" Kayano explained with sparkling eyes like she's proud of complimenting the famous red-head.

"U-uh, Okay then" Nagisa said.

"Eh??? You're not even amazed???"

"Why would I be? I'm not surprised that he has that kind of talent. He had this aura that is emitting something, showing that he's extraordinary. I saw it right after I laid my eyes on him" Explained Nagisa, eyes focused towards the book he was looking for the whole time at the library. He needs to find the information so they can get be dismissed early.

"Oh" Kayano replied, dumbfounded.

(Time: Dismissal)

"YES! We were able to finish the project!!!" Kayano exclaimed that caused Nagisa to sweat dropped.

'Yes, yes, yes, 'we'. As far as I know, I'm the only one who did the research while you continue babbling about how amazing that Karma is' thought Nagisa before heaving a sigh.

The bluenette got up and slung his bag on his shoulders before waving at Kayano.

"Since, we're finished, I should be going now. Mom is gonna kill me if I get home late. See you"

"Okay! See you, Nagisa!" Kayano waved back.

"Hm" Nagisa replied before getting out of the classroom.

While walking, he suddenly felt a sudden feeling that is someone is staring right into his own soul so he look around and found no one.

'That's odd; I knew someone is staring at me... I can't be wrong...' Nagisa thought but decided to shrug the thought off and continued walking.

(Time: Next day Place: School)

"Ohayo, Nagisa-kun!" Kayano greeted with a smile.

"Ohayo" Nagisa greeted tiredly that caused Kayano to look at him worriedly.

"Didn't have enough sleep?"

"Nah, Don't worry about it" Nagisa assured.

'I can't really sleep because of the feeling I've felt yesterday...'-Nagisa.

"Oi! Nagisa! Someone is looking for you! Nagisa's classmate called.

Nagisa nodded and headed towards the classroom door.

"K-Karma-kun?" Nagisa stated, surprised that the red-head wanted to talk to him.

"Hello, Nagisa. Mind if we talk somewhere else? We still have time anyway" Karma said with a smile.

"Kyaaa~ Karma-kun is here!" –Girl 1

"I'm surprised that the Ace is here!"- Boy1

'He sure is popular' Nagisa thought with a sweat drop.

"S-sure"

(Place: School's Garden)

"Um, so what do you want to talk about, Karma-kun?" Nagisa asked.

"You caught my attention" Karma said shortly like it's the most fitting reason of why they are at the garden.

"Pardon me?" Nagisa asked politely, not really assured about what just the red-head had said.

Karma smiled gently but you can tell that it holds a secret...a very dark secret.

"I want to find out something more about you. Would you let me in and see your whole self?" Karma asked, eyes glinting dangerously, causing Nagisa to sense danger and step back.

"I'm sorry but I don't have any secrets that can satisfy you. And I almost forgot. I need to do something so excuse me" Nagisa said and was about to walk off when Karma grab his hand before pulling him close to his chest, their face inches apart.

"Wha-"

"Then how about yourself? *smirk* I can give up asking for your secret but you have to give yourself to me" Karma offered, tilting Nagisa's chin up, causing their nose to almost touch.

'This is not good!' Nagisa thought.

"You have no choice. I can treasure trove your secret without sweat anyway *smirk* If you don't choose, once I find out about that secret, I won't hesitate to tell it to anybody"

"Before, I answer you. Can you let go of me and at least let me ask one single question?" Nagisa said, uncomfortable towards the position they were in now. If someone might see them and get the wrong impression, that would be the most humiliating thing that could happen to Nagisa

"Hmmm? Sure" Karma agreed.

"Were you the one who is staring at me yesterday after school?" Nagisa asked, really bothered about the feeling.

"I would like to do that but unfortunately; I have no idea of what you are talking about. In any case, I can get your personal information without spying on you" Karma replied which is the exact truth.

'...Karma-kun's way is more dangerous than the staring I've felt yesterday' Nagisa thought with a shudder.

"What made you ask such question?" Karma asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Ah, it's nothi-" Nagisa's sentence was cut off when he felt that sensation that he was being stared at again.

He quickly turned on his back and his eye caught a shadow behind the tree.

His eyes narrowed.

"It's him!" He stated before running towards the guy who's taking pictures.

The guy noticed that Nagisa already detected his presence so he started running away with all his might.

"Tch! You won't get awa-" Nagisa was about to grab the mysterious guy's collar when someone grabbed his instead.

"Argh!" Nagisa choked, glaring at the one who stopped him.

"I should be the one who's testifying that. You said, you'd answer my question after answering yours. Not answering yours, before getting away from me. We can't play tag now, can't we?" Karma said, smiling brightly.

"I know that but at least let me catch the one who's staring at me the whole time" Nagisa grunted, patience slowly fading away. Just like the perpetrator who's slowly fading away from his sight.

"Oh? Him? Don't worry; He's heading towards the guards. I already told them about that corrupt minded student" Karma explained, holding the cellphone that the guy used for taking pictures of Nagisa.

"H-how!"

"After seeing you forthcoming him, and because of panic, he never realized that I have stolen this. And about me knowing his intentions yesterday, I have ways that you don't have to know *wink*"

"As I thought, you are fast enough to stop that guy and me yet you never at least gave me the chance to give him a peace of mind..."-Nagisa

"I' am the ace so I can beat whoever I want but I won't allow such violence. There's a situation when you need to teach his hard rock head a lesson. There's also a lesson when you can change him through meekness, despite hating the fact he did something unforgivable" Karma stated with a smile.

Nagisa looked at him dumbfounded.

'He's actually not only intimidating but also...nice?' Nagisa thought.

"And he also took good pictures of you so he should be forgiven" Karma continued while looking at pictures from the cellphone.

'What?!' Nagisa thought before snatching the cellphone out of the red-head's slender fingers.

"You can delete those photos. Besides, I've already send them on my phone so only I can look at it. Now, about the secret...maybe I won't need that for now. How about showing this instead?" Karma teased, showing Nagisa his phone with pictures of him.

'I'll take that back! He's not nice at all!' Nagisa thought
