Careful Request-Chapter 3

---

"I wish for you to stay with me" She looked up with her brown eyes to stare at the golden ones beside her "Stay with you where?" She asked softly while pulling her knees to her chest, feeling nervous as the Gate Keeper was beginning to worry her in some weird ways she couldn't really explain "Stay with me, I personally-...I would personally like to teach you our ways" Her eyes continued to stare at him dumb-foundedly...Before she frowned.

"Does that mean I won't get to see Loki?-Or anyone else" She went red lightning fast as her gaze returned back to her 'oh so interesting' lap "You'll get to see the princes and the royal family. The only thing you will change is your schooling, as I would like to tutor you myself" Nodding her head in understanding she smiled with a giggle of an 'okay'.

---

"Do you really have to go?" Loki frowned as he looked over to his friend, who was now leaving him like ever other friend he made "I'm not leaving silly, I just have different schooling now" Laughing she placed her little basket on the floor "But you're still leaving me-Us" He frowned again as her smile faltered slightly, feeling bad at the main fact of leaving Loki here with Thor and his harsh group of friends "I'm not leaving, ever. I'll come visit you every day. We can go to the library together and do-and do whatever we or you want" She smiled happily while throwing her arms around him, pulling him into a hug as he froze.

"This is oddly comforting" Loki mumbled as he slowly wrapped his arms around her. Feeling ever so confused yet, ever so loved and comforted. Frigga was the only one to ever 'hug' him, he had never felt comfort or relief from anyone other than his mother. And at that moment she was everything to him, and he was pretty sure she felt the same way as he did.

"It's called a hug, and I did learn that hugging for an exceptionally long time will release chemicals that actually make you trust that person more" She smiled as she continued to hug him tighter in their embrace "Does it really?...I never knew that" His eyes widened as he rested his chin on her shoulder, finally relaxing his tense muscles as he could happily return the loving and comforting hug properly.

"You learn knew things everyday, in or out of the library " She giggled as Heimdal grabbed her hand, gently tugging her "We must go young one. Your school awaits" Sylph frowned slightly while looking over at Loki who had an equal sad smile "Bye bye Sylph" Loki mumbled with a soft wave as Frigga walked next to him, placing a gentle and loving hand on his shoulder for reassurance "Bye Prince" She smiled at him, knowing that it was painful for her to leave him there so vulnerable. In her eyes he looked pained, but she knew she would come back and visit him at every chance she could.

---

"Are the children here nice, or are they like me-well not like me obviously but are they similar in ways-" "Yes young one" Heimdal laughed as he held her hand, taking her slowly towards the school that taught the special magic that only the 'gifted' have. "You know of your magic?" She looked up at Heimdal confused, until she broke out a smile "I don't have magic" She giggled as he frowned with shock, falling to a stop "Then what of the events of the other day, growing that black ice substance" "Black substance?" She questioned him, and at this point he was growing concerned.

"...I was kidding" She blew up into a fit of laughter as Heimdal had the intention to roll his eyes, but even he couldn't help the small chuckle escaping his lips "You really fell for it, you really did" she cried after she bent over, holding onto her hips for stability as she cracked up with laughter "You're learning from our mischievous prince Sylph" Heimdal chuckled as he continued to walk ahead "What's that supposed to mean?!" She laughed as she grabbed a hold of his cape, trying to slow him down as he walked too fast for her small legs to catch up "Please walk slower" Giggles continued to leave her lips as Heimdal was on the verge of rolling his eyes, not taking a second glance at the girl who was now struggling to walk with his pace.

"You seem to know many things young one, I'm going to assume that you could catch up with me at ease" He smirked at her as she huffed from annoyance "Are you being serious, or are you joking with me?" Questions flew out of her mouth almost instantly as Heimdal shook his head with a small sigh "You like asking questions don't you?" Sylph took a minute to register his question, but concluded it with a short nod of her head "Yes, yes I do" She smiled excitedly as the school was now in the long distance of their view.

"Are they nice-" "Sylph" Heimdal sighed softly as he held her hand "Please save your questions for your preceptor" She gave him a quizzled look "Preceptor?" Sylph questioned him as that word was beyond foreign to her "Your instructor, your teacher" Her mouth made the shape of an 'o' in realisation "Oh...".

The rest of the small trip was walked in silence, mostly because of Sylph gazing at the stores they passed by, fancy jewellery and some bakery's with hot breads and sweets "Heimdal?" "Yes?" He looked down at the bubbly adolescent "What are those?" She softly pointed towards the-well, what she assumed to be some sort of tart, a crispy golden shell with what looked like a berry jam filling with dollops of cream served on people's plates they passed by "They look nice..." She mumbled as she saw other children eating them with who she guessed to be their parents.

"Would you like one?" Her attention snapped towards him as she gave a wild look of surprise "I mean-no-yes-no as in yes but-" She couldn't finish her rambling as she watched him walk off, leaving her near the side of the road as she stood there awkwardly "Okay then..." She mumbled with a sigh while everyone around her seemed to enjoy the nice sunny weather, with her just standing there with no one-no one and all alone.

"They're always baked fresh, and they're exceptionally hot and delicious first thing in the morning" She smiled at him, eyes glistening as she wrapped her arms around his waist, tightening her hold as she tried to hold in her tears "You're the best" She chuckled softly with a sniffle followed behind "Don't cry young one, for things will indefinitely get better" She only managed to smile at him "Thank you" "It's alright".

---

"Now don't wander off, listen to your preceptor. And most importantly. Pay. Attention" She giggled at him "I'll try, but no promises" She laughed loudly while running off to the direction of her 'Specifically Magic Training' Room as she called it.

---

"Now children from this day forth, we'll be having a new friend join us today in class" Small chatter and gossiping began between all the children who were currently seated "Now! I'd like you all to make her feel welcomed and appreciated. And as always, never judge one based on their appearance, strength and intellectual abilities" With a wave of her hand, the oak-chestnut blend of wood-door opened rather slowly, allowing Sylph an extra few seconds to rehearse her lines she was about to say in front of the class.

But as she walked in, she wasn't expecting fifty pairs of eyes to be staring down at her, she felt so small amongst them. "Welcome Sylph" She nodded her head as the corner of her eyes watched the other kids turn and whisper to their friends "Hi..." A little jump of surprise managed to lift her from the ground, eyes now looking at a ginger-fiery red headed girl with bright blue eyes contrasting against her hair and pale complexion.

"Sylph? What kind of name is that" Everyone in the room cracked up with laughter as poor Sylph turned red from embarrassment "Lucretia!" The red head who she now assumed to be 'Lucretia' instantly froze and slumped back in her chair from fright "Apologise right this instant" The brunette teacher slightly glared at Lucretia, who only looked at her teacher with a pleading look "Mistress, it was unintentional. Please forgive me" She begged "It is not me who should be forgiving you, now apologise to Sylph. Before I report this to our Queen" Everyone's eyes widened as they now stared at the girl, including Lucretia.

"My apologies...Sylph" "I-it's okay" She smiled at the red-head as the 'Mistress' gestured her to one of the seats out on the front, away from the other students who all shuffled towards the back. Hiding away to sneakily talk to their friends, trying to seal their conversations from their preceptor.

"Is she the queen's relative?" "I think so-" "No, she doesn't look like the queen-" "But she could be-" "Silence!" Screamed their teacher at full volume causing the room to fall deadly silent "One more word out of your mouths, and I'll be seeing all of you in detention. And I'll make sure to make contact with all your parents" Everyone at that moment turned completely mute, shutting off their voice boxes as their teacher-sure she was strict-but she never threatened them with their parents or sending them to detention.

"All because of that girl"

---

"Come with me Sylph" The little girl nodded her head while standing up to follow her teacher out the back into her office she entered "Yes Mistress?" "Sit here for me" She nodded her head once again as she sat on one of the small chairs in front of her desk "I've been told by Queen Frigga of your special needs and attention" The Mistress looked through a small booklet on all the information they could provide "And she has asked me to personally assist you in whatever your needs may require. Now I'm here to help you, don't see yourself different from the other students. The only thing that sets you apart is the matter of them having just a little more control over their magic" Sylph looked down as she rocked her legs back and forth.

"Will I get to control my magic like them?" She mumbled sadly "We will train you Sylph, with the right training, you could even be better than them. The potential you contain is remarkable, that is why I specifically requested to aid you" She smiled at that, someone actually was interested in her "Really? You'll help me, are you serious" She jumped up and down from excitement "Sit down please" She mumbled at the over-excited adolescent "Oh okay" "Now that we have things some what under way. I'm going to say this, and I'm only going to say this once. Never once go out of my orders, now that is an order."

"Alright, that's not that hard" Sylph shrugged her shoulders with a small smile "Good, now head back into class. It's about to start" "Alright, thank you" Sylph immediately got up and ran towards the door "And Sylph-" She turned around at lightning speed "My name is Adrianna-or Ria" She smiled at her moody teacher. One second she's rough and harsh, next, she's sweet and caring.

---

"How was school?" She walked up to Frigga who stood there with open arms "It was nice, Adrianna told me everything" Sylph smiled at the Queen before she got pulled into a hug that cause her to wrap her arms around the small waist of Frigga, to which she returned the hug with equal love.

"I hope you enjoy going here" "Why?" "Because, I have a surprise" Sylph scrunched both brows together at the Queen's words "What's the surprise?" She asked the woman gingerly "Turn around" Sylph did as she was told, and her heart almost stopped as to who she saw "Loki!" She screamed as the green eyed prince already began the race to reach his best friend "I told you I'd come to see you everyday, but now I do get to see you everyday" She laughed into his shoulder as he squeezed her tightly.

He might've not known her that long, but it felt like forever to him. Like he knew her his whole life, but in reality he only knew her for a couple of months, possibly half a year? Who knows.

"And I did tell you that I would be waiting. And now guess what?" She looked at him confused "Wait, is it another surprise?" "Yes m'lady" He smiled while bowing down and kissing the back of her palm, to which she always enjoyed receiving from the charming and soft prince.

"This is our school" She looked around to see Thor approaching "And Mother thought it appropriate for you to attend here".

"You could say-" She then turned herself around once more to see Loki with a giddy smile.

"That it was my Careful Request".

(A/N:)

God it feels like I haven't updated in forever, and I'm quite happy with how this turned out. And I'm not saying it just because I am saying it...I'm extremely out of control with how many books I have in my drafts, it's crazy and it's a mess. But anyway, enjoy the chapter that I have provided you for the day as I have also nothing else to say....

Stay safe, eat chocolate.
